Thank you very much, Nico! I'm having a lot of fun making these in-depth guides, about the different heists and certain stealth mechanics, so I'm very happy that so many heisters are enjoying them :)
And to solo stealth this heist with the army of guards wandering around like they gotta pee, and that stupid computer hack this dude has tons of patience
Haha, unlucky timing! Happy to hear those were your thoughts though :D Hopefully you had fun completing it without help, and hopefully you also enjoyed the video, and will be able to make your future runs easier, or more reliable! :p
@@semyonneyman Thank you, very kind! And I'm glad I was able to help with that :) Restarting might be a good way to get an easy computer, but it would get frustrating quickly if you keep getting bad spawns. Have fun with the tips! :D
Im from the Epic games flock that came into the game and I can't begin to explain how grateful I am for this content, after what I roughly estimate was over +6m cash in wasted prep attempts, today the heist finally caved, I emptied the vault on death sentence, also managed to do Framing Frame heist on death sentence thanks to your guides, they're superb quality, have a wonderful day.
That is great to hear, shacre! Glad that these guides are helping, and congratulations on your first completion on both this heist, and Framing Frame! Have a wonderful day yourself as well :D
It's such a shame that there's no XP reward for loose cash! They should implement something like "1% of your loose cash is converted to XP at the end of the heist", to create an incentive to loot absolutely everything :(
@@Marcmb you litterally take 1 or 2 extra minutes only for more than 1 or 2 million $, probably more but idk benevolent loose cash money rates. Unless you are speedrunning or something, even in xp farming, its useful.
@@themutagen *@AncientWorld* If you need the money, it's really good to always get absolutely everything, yeah! Especially for new players, who need money for the first 5 infamies. However, after Infamy 5, your money doesn't get reset anymore, so you reach a point where you literally don't need any more money. At that point, players are mostly interested in XP, so it's good to know which things can be skipped for the most efficient XP gains :)
@@Marcmb It also depends how do you like to play the game. I like to loot as much of loose loot just for the sake of it, it feels nice to grab everything and makes it a little more interesting than simple go in>do objective.
Haha, interesting fact! It is indeed true that most silenced weapons have an alert radius of 1m, but I never noticed there would be a location convenient enough to actually see it in action :p
I have been trying to do this heist stealth with a friend and we had almost no idea what we where doing. We where more used to simple stealth heist such as Car shop, Shadow Raid, And Murky Station. This really helped us out!
Happy to hear this helped, Dark, thank you! This one is a really fun heist when you're getting into the big heists, so it's definitely quite different from the smaller heists, but 100% worth learning :D
I can't imagine how much time you spent making this video, to get all those clips together, have a little intermission, show every single keycard location. Amazing job on the editing and attention to detail! It really does not get better than this
Thank you very much Grant! Very nice message, and very kind :) Glad you enjoyed the video! I definitely have a lot of fun making them as thorough as possible, and getting clips for everything, so I'm glad it was entertaining to watch! :D
Nice, BoSSman! Either perfect timing, or you are indeed a psychic :p Hopefully you enjoyed the video, and hopefully it will help with your future runs! :D
@@Marcmb God you helped me through the whole heist but as soon as throw that last bag, in the SAME exact spot as all the others only THEN he sees them all
Man this heist is by far my least favorite one to solo stealth; it's just so annoying! When I was grinding for the DSOD mask, I simply went loud on this one lmao. Cleared it on the first try too!
Hey Masterlink! It's definitely a bit painful to solo stealth, indeed. It's not particularly hard, but the computer objective was clearly designed around duo play, and thus it can be very unforgiving if you get unlucky when playing solo :p
It is annoying its true but it is far more rewarding to do something that is hard / annoying then just blasting through but we are opposites i see i can only solo stealth things each time i try a loud for even DW it just straight out fails but i also dont have reliable people to play with and public is just a toxic waste dump i rather avoid and since most heists are forced loud i spent around 6 years trying to get even the DW mask i wish all heists were stealthable for those who dont have people to play with
Haha, completely understandable, ansomarom! I wonder how it looked at effectively 8x speed haha :D I was tempted to cut as much as possible from that section, but I could definitely see some new heisters struggling with the static guard, so I decided to leave that section in the video, just in case :p
@@Marcmb it's definitely better to speed it up, I recommend your videos to a lot of new players, and speeding the long parts makes it more clear than skipping it, keep up the good work!
@@ansomar Awesome! Happy to hear that my content will be good to teach new players, and that my approach so far is adequate. I'll do my best to keep it up, thank you! :D
This channel is SO good. All the steps in every video are explained very clearly and basically every situation you could think of is covered in depth. And to top all of this off, he replies to every comment! +1 sub, keep the great work up!
Thank you very much, Luca! Glad you liked the video :) Personally, I'm really enjoying making thorough videos like this one, so I'm very glad that so many heisters are enjoying them! :D
One thing I like to do when searching the computers is control the civilians in the bottom office, and then you can jump on the cubicles and interact with some of the computers upstairs through the floor without any risk as long as you keep your eyes peeled for roamers. It may take a little longer and ultimately GenSec calling the extra cops is basically inconsequential as you describe here, but it feels badass.
That's a very interesting strategy, CuppaBro! Good to know you're having success with that :) Personally, I've considered it a few times, but the fact that you can't reach all the different possible PCs means that you often end up having to control both the downstairs and upstairs rooms... and while the GenSec cops are almost irrelevant, I prefer avoiding them when possible! :D
Normally I really dislike videos with text instead of talking but honestly your guides are so good for every mission that It doesnt even bother me. Ive added 6 consistnet missions to my skill set now and am about to work on this one thanks to your videos!
Thanks for the kind words, ninjasmurf! Glad you've been enjoying these heist guides, and learning from them :D In the future (next year-ish) I will also make guides with voiceover, because I know that some people really prefer those. But until then, once again I'm glad you've liked the guides so far! Thank you :)
Ouch! Sorry to hear that, Putu, that's a shame :( The bags have to be placed behind the desk quite carefully to make sure roamers who enter the manager's room won't be able to see them from any location or angle. If you look at how I'm throwing my body bags, I place them in a very specific location, and I make them roll on the ground so that the two tips of the bag end up on top, rather than on the ground. This way, the bag takes up less space, and it can fit behind the desk without being visible from any angle. Very safe! Alternatively, if you don't mind the extra distance, the garage downstairs, or the roof, or behind the ventilation unit next to the red ladder, are all very safe spots to leave your body bags, even if it takes longer to get them there.
This guide really helped me in completing my own stealth heist, it's still one of the hardest stealth heists in the game in my opinion 😅 the rng of server room placement, vault entrance door spawns, civ spawns and computers make this such a brutal heist to do along with the fact that you need to save all 4 pagers for the vault guards. Again, THANK YOU for this guide, it's incredibly helpful.
Oooh that is great! Happy to hear you were already able to beat this one Serpent. One of the hardest solo stealth heists out there! Congrats on your completion :)
Hey Marc. I came back to this video after a whole year to mention something new I've learned when playing Big Bank solo. If you have headphones that have surround audio (so if something's to your right in game, you'll hear it through your right headset), you can approximately locate the position of the computer from the server room. This takes a lot of practice and is quite tricky, but if done correctly, you can easily distinguish either in which general part of the offices the PC is (left side towards stairs, middle, right side towards bank entrance) and go on from that. I've gotten the PC first try a lot of times this way, and it's generally a safe and reliable method! I recommend you try it whenever you're free, as it could possibly have some use in other heists.
Hey there Kos! Welcome back to the video :) Can't believe it's been more than a year already, impressive. While it is true that you can sometimes tell the rough location of the PC based on sound, I feel like that is only reliable when you get the close server spawn (33% chance). I am completely unable to get any accurate guesses from the other 2 spawns (which are on the opposite side of the map) so I didn't mention it because 33% chance makes it a rather unreliable trick... Do you actually get valuable, accurate information from the other 2 spawns as well? Or just the one close server spawn?
@@Marcmb Hey Marc. Thanks for your reply. Yes! I did indeed get pretty accurate locations of the PC's, even from the other spawns! You can put your volume up a bit and move your camera a bit to get a rough idea of where the PC is located, even from the second floor and cafeteria spawns! I'd also would like to add that, while 33% is of course not reliable, it is certainly useful in the task of eliminating possible computers. Let's say you hear the PC noise completely to the left of the offices while standing in the Cafeteria spawn. In that scenario, you know that the other two parts do certainly not have the computer, and this can save you from pulling risky plays and failing the heist! Another great thing is that you can move your mouse around to get a better idea of the exact location of the PC, which can prove extremely useful. I suggest you try this sometime, or if you'd like, I can record a few short videos displaying it!
@@kossylvie Interesting! Maybe maxing out the SFX can make a difference then. I'll have to check it out as soon as I have some time, thank you! In the meantime, if you do record any short clips / demonstrations, I'll absolutely watch them! As you say it is certainly useful to be able to discard a big chunk of the PCs :p
Man, I remember doing this heist, I did it in a much riskier way but I still won in the end! These guides are so helpful, I couldn't have completed heists like Alesso or Border Crossing without these guides for reference! If you're okay with a suggestion for another heist to have a guide for, I feel like a Firestarter guide would be very cool! Keep up the great work dude!
Thank you, Boston Crème! Happy to hear that the heist guides are helping :) There are indeed many different strategies to tackle each heist, so sometimes I try to explain all the relevant aspects of the heist, so that players can follow a slightly modified strategy, if they prefer :) In the future, I'll definitely make one guide for Firestarter too! Especially focusing on DAY1. However, I'm starting with the more "intended" stealth heists, since those guides can be more useful to a wider range of heisters!
After bashing my head against the brick wall that is trying to solo stealth a heist you barely know how to stealth to begin with (for three and a half hours straight...), I can safely say I never would have made it without this video. Much appreciated! That said, I have quite a strong urge to do literally anything else than play big bank, now.
Glad I was able to help, Luex, you're absolutely welcome! This one can be _very_ unforgiving, especially when playing it solo, AND even more for the first solo attempts. Happy to hear the guide helped! Now time to enjoy some other heists haha :D
that card spawn walkthrough was the exact thing I've been looking for. I could'nt tell with picture guides where exactly keycards are keep up the great work. thx
Thanks fivid! Back in the day, I also had similar problems with "screenshot compilations" for spawns, so I'm glad that my format helped :) Thanks for the feedback, and I'll do my best to keep it up!
Thank you very much, Mike! I appreciate it a lot :) I'm having a lot of fun making these types of videos, so I'm glad there's many heisters interested in learning from them! :D
Great vid as always. This approach is much faster than my usual method, which relies heavily on the drill trick and thus takes forever- but that approach was made back when the timelock was an alert point. Nowadays it's still got some utility for no-favor and entrapment runs.
Thanks a lot Discendo, very kind! Glad you enjoyed it :) The drill trick approach is also very interesting, and fun to use! Although it can be a bit frustrating when guards take forever to path close enough to hear it. I considered mentioning it in this video, but it would've been radically different from the showcased strategy (clearing the vault vs. clearing the lobby) so I decided to leave it for another time :p
Thanks for this guide man, literally just first tried the heist with all bags in 40 minutes (Had to lockpick all deposit boxes, forgot to bring my saw, which worringly happens a lot, and just my generally careful stealth playstyle). Back when I hadn't watched this guide I couldn't even get past the timelock lol. Used an ecm to open the server room and thankfully the computer was downstairs. You're awesome.
Glad to hear the guide helped, tuca! Congratulations on your first-try completion :D As for manually lockpicking all the boxes, that's often part of the learning process haha! Hope you had fun in there :p
I would like to leave a suggestion: If you don't mind waiting the timelock, you can place a spycam on Mezanine West intead using the malware injector. The spycam can help you spoting the guards that may come from the management corridor, and it spots a guard if he's walking by the stairs :)
Decent suggestion, gabmoita! The spycams can indeed be very powerful on this heist (and any heist in general), and the timelock malware only saves 30s, which isn't a big deal. Unless you're tryharding to farm XP as fast as possible, the spycams definitely sound a lot better than the faster timelock!
You know, watching through this video made me realize something. You make things look infinitely less intimidating to pull off. Before I was watching these, I dreaded stealth heists, they felt too intimidating to attempt and I would always panic and fail. But starting with Shadow raid and working through the tutorials I've managed to successfully complete almost every major stealth heist With information in hand the panic was gone and I realized I had all the time in the world. Once I finally slowed down it was all easy. Solo stealthing framing frame was what killed my fear/worry completely and now I can regularly do random stealth heists for fun. Just finished big bank for the first time (absolute bloody mess of a run, I just wound up emptying the entire upper floor and had to stealth the back without any pagers...) and last will be golden grin and alesso. After that I'll probably start trying out Responsive Responders. It re-adds a lot of voice lines for cops that got removed randomly in updates, and that includes the guard chatter in stealth, so I'm wondering if it'll improve the feeling of stealth heists by adding a bit of life into things.
Amazing! That is great to hear, Fusro, thank you very much! :D In my opinion, for most stealth heists, once you have a clear idea of which guards you should aim to take out (to clear the important areas), and the essential steps of the heist (as well as their time limits, triggers for extra events, etc), it becomes a lot more smooth! I'm glad that my guides are able to convey that information, in a way that's helping you master the heists, and enjoy stealth a lot more! I couldn't ask for more :) Starting with Shadow Raid was also a very good call, because it's a good one to practice many of these concepts. Congratulations on all your clears all the way up to Framing Frame! Good luck with these few heists left :) Personally, as soon as I finish making the Ultimate Stealth Guides for all heists, I will also start showcasing modded gameplay and things like that, so I might check out Responsive Responders too!
Great guide, Marc! Did two completions today. First took a long time and many many restarts, did the elevator exit. Second was way faster, did the bus exit. Was super-tight at the end to get all the bags out on the second attempt, but I made it! All thanx to you. Merry Christmas!
Good job Stefan! And Merry Christmas to you as well :) I knew you would manage to succeed on the bus approach, but it's good to hear that you managed to get all the bags too! Now you've seen for yourself how insane the XP reward is, especially during the event :p
@@Marcmb Yes! Doing number 5 or 6 right now. It is insane! I warm up with ED, then FF (+20%), then The Big Bank with the 25% from FF. Very nice XP. All in all I currently get 7.x M XP from those 3.
Just came out of the most awsome of them all. WHen I got to the vault area I had 2 body bags left, due to civvies not behaving. That was ... interesting. Succeeded though, Infamy IX now.
@@stesmi Amazing! Back in my solo / coops days of random stealth, before there were crews available to ECM rush, I used to do a very similar thing. FF has a very respectable 34,500 base XP reward, so it's also very nice to use that 20% on, plus getting a 25% for the next one (BB). For the run where you only had 2 body bags left, I assume you took out the 4 roamers? Or do you still take out the camera guard? That would've been a challenging risk, considering you didn't have enough bags for everyone!
@@Marcmb I was super-clumsy / got unlucky, but I was spotted in the lower office when I was moving, so I had to dash in behind one of the guys near a camera, and I overshot, so he spotted me (closest to the van, where you say "this side if it's a roamer, and THAT side when it's the manager"), and that gave me the body bags. I was lucky that it didn't become a restart right there. Had 3 on me at the time, used all, and had 2 left in the case upstairs. The camera is centered. You know where I mean. And the camera guard I just took out that time we talked because I wanted to know who the hell it was behind the door that looked like a camera guard :) (Spoiler alert: it's a camera guard)
Getting ready to do this for the first time. Amazing video, keycard spawns must have taken a long time to put together on your end. Very much appreciate the effort you put into this video, you deserve more subs and views!
Good luck with your first attempts, Ryan, and thank you! Take it one step at a time, and you'll be able to consistently progress towards a completion :) Glad you liked the guide format & contents, and hopefully it helps! :D
Glad I was able to clear that up, Bubba! I definitely wanted to start the video with that information, because it helps a lot when planning your approach -- you either play it pacifist and guarantee that GenSec won't send cops, or kill civs when you need, being aware of the risk that entails!
Thanks for the guide. I always thought it’d be to much of a pain to brute force the computers solo but it was much easier than I expected. Made it all the way to the end only to escape with 4 bags because I tried to recreate 27:56 and the camera guard happened to be within silent saw hearing distance.
Glad the guide helped, Death2all! Thank you :) And indeed, brute-forcing the computers solo isn't too bad: you have almost a 50% chance to get it without needing to bother with upstairs, so the odds are quite good! As for the note at the end, that is very unlucky :( I should've mentioned that in the video, but it's such a low chance for it to happen, and the video was so long already, that I only mentioned it in the description...!
Hey Jang! Thank you :) This is also one of my favorite heists, although I enjoy it a lot more when it's fully rushed -- from start to finish, with all loot! :D
@@jange8782 Absolutely! Definitely a bit slow when playing solo though, as you say :( Looting in general is a lot more fun, and efficient, with a full lobby! :D
Hopefully the guide will help, Rant! Let me know if you need anything :) Also note that, in the current update, the downstairs 4 civilians are buggy, so even though they are sitting, their eyes are standing. Makes it a lot less straightforward to hack those downstairs PCs...
I may be months late but hey Mr. Marcmb you've taught me well. Just a few hours ago I solo stealthed this bank for the first time. Thanks man. I've been trying for so long and finally I did it.
Hey man, these guides are awesome. I cannot imagine how much time it consumes to just do one of them. Or the gathering of the indepth knowlege about the individual heists alone. You are truly awesome. :) Thanks! One small point of constructive criticism though: You could voice the tips instead of subbing them. It would be easier/more convinient to process all the information you throw at us. ^^
Thanks a lot Vyretth, I appreciate it! They do take a while to make, but it's really fun, and it's good to see that they are being useful, and heisters are enjoying them :) Thanks as well for the feedback! I do have some plans for videos with voiceover in the future, but my current idea was to first finish the "Ultimate Stealth Guides" series with text only, because some viewers prefer that type of thing! Although I might revisit them in the future, and explain them in a different way with voice-over included...
Haha :D That one in particular just gets in the way completely, when you're trying to look towards the management offices. Definitely a good plant to take out!
Funny that you upload this. I was just talking to a friend because he struggles with finding all 5 War Documents, which apparently spawn more often in Big Bank. I got it by complete accident but he still has 3/5 required. Today we will try Big Bank stealth, but I can't promise DSOD ;) Thanks for the video my friend.
Perfect timing then, kotzpenner! :D I don't remember which heists are best for War Documents, because I got mine a long time ago... good luck with your Big Bank attempts though, and have fun!!
@@Marcmb Apparently a 2% chance to spawn in locked boxes on Big Bank and all Transports except Train. Although it should spawn in other heists too, there's a bug that makes it exceptionally rare, Go Bank for example. Thanks for the encouraging words. We will start in 10 mins lol and I will tell if it works or not haha. The worst thing is the map lags a bit in Multiplayer.
@@kotzpenner Interesting! 2% is quite low, I never noticed they were that rare, even in the heists where they do spawn normally. If you have any doubts or questions during your runs, feel free to ask! :)
@@Marcmb Thank you so much for the video! We have finished this in the third try, nearly done first try, but wasted 2 pagers in the first half. That sounds quite bad Shuckle, hopefully everything was fine with your account when you recovered it! Good to hear the timing for the video is good :D Enjoy this one!
@@shuckle3775 :( Still a shame whenever that happens. Some people really have nothing better to do, than go around messing with the accounts of others...
Thank you for showing this guide, I don’t know how I would complete it without it. I sometimes watch professional players play it but it doesn’t really help since they just speed run it and I can’t really learn anything from it. Thank you again, it really helped
Glad this guide helped, Mr Big! You are absolutely right: simply watching advanced heisters does not give you enough knowledge to pull off the heists reliably... glad you enjoyed the format! :)
@@MrBigR-jc7qj Absolutely! You just need the CHAMELEON skill ACE. Check out my stealth build in the video description: it has explanations for what each skill does!
Thank you Marcmb for answering my question, I don’t want to take so much of your time but I have some questions I hope you could answer: How can I unlock sixth sence, how do you pocket ECM, what is the difference between the different difficulties, should I kill the civilians that’s in my way if I know that it’s not going to lead to the alarm getting triggered and should I restart if the alarm goes off.
- Sixth Sense is a skill from the Ghost tree, you just get it with skill points (see build video, in description) - Pocket ECM is equipped automatically when using the Hacker perk deck (see perk deck video, in description) - Lower difficulties generally have fewer guards, and easier objectives. Mayhem to Death Sentence are the same for stealth. - Restart if you go loud.
This map, Golden Grin, and Shadow Raid are the only maps I’d be willing to stealth. And I’ve only ever done a successful Shadow Rain run so far. The Golden Grin is pain because I can’t start of the heist by getting the Keycard and code before hand, at least I don’t think it’s possible to start of the heist buy doing that. The Big Bank is pain because I don’t know any of the guard patterns yet, and finding the keycard.
Hey Qunia! These 3 heists that you mention are easily among the coolest stealth heists, so I definitely recommend attempting all of them until you succeed! :D For Golden Grin, you can know which of the 2 gamblers will have the keycard based on static guard spawns (which makes finding the drink before masking up really easy), although getting the keycard early is very tricky, and maybe unreliable if you plan to sequence-break. Big Bank takes some time to get used to the guard patterns, but hopefully this video helps, at least with the keycard spawns :)
Nice and very informative video as always! I just want to point out another keycard spawn that you probably missed: if you pause the video at 5:18, I sometimes had the keycard spawn on the brown/red table on the right.
Very interesting, SilentGamer! I assume you mean the table with the flower pot, in front of the painting? I've never seen the keycard there, and that's with 100 completions before DS, and 200 since then...! Very weird, but I'll definitely update the video if I ever see some new spawns! Glad you enjoyed the video and found it informative, thank you! :D
Keycard spawns were very helpful, the last guide I watched said they either spawned on employee desks or didn’t spawn, and less rng in stealth is always good.
I'm glad that helped, Bubba! There's definitely no RNG, as the random keycard always spawns somewhere, so that previous guide must have been a bit misleading!
Hey Thanks mate!, An Infamy 8 can't do this heist in Stealth and now i can Give it a shot. Thank you and yeah.. very dissapointing an Infamy 8 can't do this heist in Stealth
infamy is just playing alot, not playing better each time. Actually its the reverse if you really grind infamy because of the better xp rewards its playing worse just for efficiency.
I've been getting back into payday 2 and every time i look up certain heists tips ur the one channel thay pops up and theyre always really helpful so now i have to subscribe lol. Thanks.
Welcome back to the world of heisting, lyxanite! Happy to hear my guides have been helping you out :D Thanks a lot for considering subscribing, much appreciated!
Aim guide at 15:15 when? Haha jk, great video man, your vids are so detailed and well done, its actually insane how much effort you put in these. Ive never ran across another content creator that goes into detail as much as you do. Keep it up!
Haha perfect timestamp! I already knew which scene you were talking about, but I clicked on it, and you can instantly see and hear the missed shot :p Beautiful timestamp. There are a couple moments in this guide that are definitely going to my Ultimate Aiming Guide :p I usually play with shotguns, so it's not as noticeable, but my aim is AWFUL! 16:39 also missed somehow... I'm glad you're enjoying the content, thank you very much for the very nice comment! :)
31:57 it's weird how you got +64000. According to the Wiki and Long Guide, you should've gotten +54000. Lucky you, even though you couldn't use it lol.
That's indeed true, AlexTechie, well spotted! That's one of the reasons I like always showing the XP breakdown at the end of the heists, in case I ever want to check what the XP/stealth bonuses are for certain heists :p The reason for the difference is because, a few patches ago, Big Bank was buffed to reward an additional +10,000 XP, so old sources like The Long Guide (amazing, but unupdated) or the wiki have not been updated. That's also why, if you check out one of my Big Bank ECM rushes (using bus escape for +10,000 XP) those go up to 74,000 XP, or 75,000 with maximum amount of random bags :)
I have definetly been waiting for this video. Finished this heist in stealth around 10 times before it got released tho :D But hey, once again I have learned some new tricks. To be honest, after the ecm rush video I never go for anything else than the bus stop. It is also a much more faster, rewarding and stylish way of escaping. Using the ecm rush video, personal experience and this guide I can see more ways of improving on the approach now. I have also noticed Marcmb having 2 bbag cases and ammo bag deployable. The need of having two bbag cases while playing this heist solo or in a team of two has been learned the hard way for me, but ammo bag and saw came from the laziness of not willing to spend too much time on the deposit boxes when playing in a full team. Great guide, as always!
Thanks Medium! Hopefully the video lived up to its expectations :p You're absolutely right about the escape. I was conflicted on this one: it's definitely possible to move 25 bags through the bus solo (with 3 bots, preferably), and it's much more convenient, easier, and faster, while even rewarding more XP. However, when playing solo, it's tough to move all the bags through the bus (as I suggest for the rush, to avoid the bouncy glitch which seems to affect mostly clients), so the logical choice for a solo player would be to throw them into the bus first. Thus, to avoid a situation where I recommend throwing after the bus in some videos, and throwing inside the bus in some other videos (even though the reasoning for each is very clear), I decided to ignore that escape, to ensure the community gets used to throwing only after the bus :p
@@Marcmb you are absolutely right about the bag moving. As a solo I have encountered situations, where I was not able to move all the bags (for example, I got spotted at some point and had to start ecm rushing). The problem with bag moving happened even in a full lobby, as it was the case that only two people were busy throwing the bags in the bus, but others were carrying those in the van right away, which is not wrong, but not the best choice. I agree that throwing before/after is situational and in case of an assault starting on dsod I think getting them in the bus is more safe and convenient, since enemies won't come right away, but fast enough for making going out of the bus too dangerous(even with a hostage being used to delay the assault). Bus is glitchy, I absolutely agree. It is also possible to get stuck inside it the moment it arrives. A way to get out of that, as it seems, is to jump to the right of the door at the parking lot(worked twice for me, but not sure).
@@mediumplayer1 Very good points, indeed. Every now and then I also get some _cowards_ in my lobbies who just rush to the garage and take the bags straight to the van, without even helping moving them from the bank room through the bus. In my Big Bank full ECM rush guide, I made sure to mention this was awful for team play, but unfortunately it's impossible to expect everyone to see the video :p The response time is actually surprisingly long (70s with preplanning and civ), so for that reason I also recommend just moving them all through the bus directly, when going for the full ECM rush. Of course, lobbies with less coordination are likely to experience very different scenarios, so throwing them all into the bus is also reasonable, even though it's less efficient and likely to trigger the bouncy bus glitch. As for getting stuck inside the bus the moment it arrives, I see it happen very often when heisters try to stand in front of the wall where the bus will crash through, and sometimes players have to quit the heist at that point because they get stuck completely. Luckily, the solution is as simple as standing elsewhere when the bus arrives :p Finally, as for the mod, I've never had many problems with the wrinkles on the gloves (the clipping when they were released was awful though), but it's nice to see the community making mods for these things!
I really like the high quality content on this channel, I'm curious how much time did it take to do this. All the montage, researching info, restarting to get all the keycards locations for screenshots
Thanks Dimitri! Glad you're enjoying the content, much appreciated :D These types of videos do indeed take a while to make, considering all the different spawns for everything, and the fact I always want to double-check everything that I teach in the video. Luckily, most of the "researching part" is done ahead of time, because of all the hours I've been playing the game, so it's often very straightforward! Plus I really enjoy the process, so I have a lot of fun while doing it :)
This is one of the best heists to do grind xp, but doing it the elevator trick route will give you about half the xp as bus escape. I got to a very high infamy following your election day guide for 20% bonus, then stealth until the timelock is open, and ecm rush to fully loot the vault. This method is a lot easier to pull off when in public lobbies as well, since you can use your pagers before entering the timelock door with no risk. Anyways great guide man
Hey Eric! Glad you're enjoying the content, thank you! :D I'm a big fan of the bus escape (been recommending it since my first month as a PAYDAY2 content creator), but it's a bit of an overstatement to say that elevator rewards about half the XP :p The difference is actually 10K base XP, going from an average of 63,000 to an average of 73,000. Definitely much better when ECM rushing though! Not sure if you've seen my multiple videos about fully ECM rushing the Big Bank :) As for starting the rush after the timelock door opens, I do that when the heisters in the lobby are struggling with the pocket ECM timings, but it's considerably easier so it gets a bit boring for me, so I always prefer the full rush, if the team can pull it off! :D
@@Marcmb Yeah I haven't really tried a full rush with pocket ecms since it's hard enough to coordinate pubs to have regular upgraded ecms hahaha but I would love to try, maybe I could actually give it a shot. Im surprised the xp difference is that low, maybe it just feels that way since I would always use the elevator trick on lower infamies. Your videos have helped me a lot, and I'm always looking forward to your next guides and appreciate the feedback. Do you have any content regarding loud heists? Or plans to make content like that?
@@dafoofy Hahah, I can definitely see where you're coming from, yeah! Many random public lobbies often struggle with things like lobby order, bringing the required ECM skills for ECM rushing... although it's really nice when you find a rare public lobby where that doesn't happen :) If you're interested in that kind of gameplay, you can try joining a community of heisters who often play that type of thing, for example my Steam group chat (in the description) -- completely optional and only if you're interested, of course! Glad you're enjoying the content, and finding it useful, I appreciate it a lot! So far I've only done stealth videos, because I play almost stealth only, so I can ensure the highest possible quality by focusing on that. However, in the future when I finish making all my stealth content, I'll also consider making a short series explaining the tricks I learnt while getting my DSOD mask!
Hope you enjoyed the video, Elite ARMY! Next time you're playing the heist and the phone starts ringing, you can safely delay the response by ~40s to scare your teammates :p
@@TickTock725 Hey there Zer0! Definitely don't try it on random lobbies yeah :p While doing full ECM rushes however, something fun which you can do is gather all the players around the phone, and see who is the coward who answers it first! :D Only for experienced lobbies though, because while learning it's better to focus exclusively on the ECM timers!
Thank you very much, Babushka! I'm personally having a lot of fun teaching everything I know about stealth, and going in-depth into many different concepts. So I'm very glad that so many heisters are enjoying it! I'll do my best to keep it up :D
@@Marcmb Do you plan on doing ultimate stealth guides on heist that are not supposed to be doable in stealth ? like mallcrasher and firestarter day 1 ? I have done them already in dw (mallcrasher was ez and firestarter day 1 was a pain in the ass) but it would be cool to see how you manage to do them !
@@eliot3638 Absolutely! Especially Firestarter, since that's one that gets requested quite often. However, I'll start with the "intended" stealth heists, because I feel those guides can be useful to a wider range of heisters! But eventually I'll cover literally everything, yup :D
2:02 lucky me, when I tried to stealth this with randoms we got that 5% 2 times in a row lol (Shame that both attempts failed, coz guards saw us and decides to shoot)
Nice, twice in a row! That is VERY lucky!! If you would like to understand what causes guards to decide to shoot, I recommend this video! th-cam.com/video/41HGse2KDUI/w-d-xo.html -- with a bit more experience, you can understand why they are shooting, and avoid it! :)
@@Cucumber_Dragon I see! If the video didn't explain your situation, there's one more trigger which wasn't explained in that video because of historical reasons. I left an explanation on that comment! That should definitely be it, because the guard gunfire triggers are actually quite limited :)

I finally manage to solo it, all the other time I complete it were with people. Your guide help me a lot on this one, like the cloaker say "work smarter not harder".
Marc: Don’t take the loose cash! Me, a money hungry gremlin: *Ok* Also, I’m starting to think Overkill is putting a lot of effort to prevent counterfeit stealthing lol
You have to resist the urge, in order to get that optimal XP farming efficiency! :p Although if you really like the cash, you can get it, no worries haha :D And you're absolutely right :( Ever since Infamy 3.0 was released, I think they saw that as a reason to patch the strategy... sad :(
@@Marcmb tbh, they would probably be less worried about it and think of implementing a full Counterfeit stealth if the heist wasn’t, you know _infinite_
@@flamingfury7312 You're 100% on point with that guess :p There's a reason why they've never officially designed an _endless stealth heist,_ even though there are plenty of endless loud heists. The reasons are clear, sadly!!
Thanks man my brother and I have been able to stealth a lot of the ones you've covered so far because of your guides. Just want to say thanks for putting in the work to make such in-depth videos for players. This is the one we will be trying next. Keep up the good work!
That's great to hear Matthew, thank you very much! :D Glad to know my guides are helping, and I'll do my best to keep it up. Good luck with this one, and have fun! :)
So this guide helped me a lot. It took me nearly forever to actually stealth Big Bank. But what frustrated me the most is when I was moving bags, so close to securing it, and one bag misplacement, a standing guard saw it and ruined the whole stealth
Aww so sorry to hear that bubonic! Well I'm glad that the guide helped, so that's good to hear :) But the bag incident is a shame. I guess it was the cake guy in front of the elevator? If one of the bags is thrown slightly off and it doesn't fall down, then the caked guard will see - very unfortunate!
@@Marcmb Also idk if you know this but one time when I was stealthing Big Bank with somme friends and I was finding the right computer to hack, you can see a red square with texts that pop up when its the right computer.
@@dr.bubonic4471 That is correct yup! When playing with a crew, the sound and the red prompt on the screen are guaranteed ways to find the right computer! You can see that fully optimized, if you ever check one of my Big Bank ECM rushes :D
11:14 Theres a layout of big bank with the security room on the right side with the computers. If you turn up your audio you can hear the correct computer beep when you ping it, which lets you hear and sometimes see the right computer if its in a good spot, not always close enough to tell 100% but it can be helpful if you’re really struggling on that part
Hey Rain! That is very true, although it's only a 33% chance for that server room to spawn, so back when I made this guide I decided not to mention it, so that players would not feel the need to restart until they get this spawn (over-relying on this advantage). Very interestingly, one of the recent comments on this video mentioned that they're able to pin-point the location of the beeping PC, based on this sound, for any of the 3 server room spawns. I'll definitely have to do some testing (and practice) on this! Feel free to attempt the same as well :D
@@Marcmb Its possible but MUCH MUCH harder to do from across the lobby, but if you crank your audio its possible from all locations!! its not consistent unless you’re a savant at payday’s sound design but it can help you hack the right area/floor instead of trying every computer
@@MizzurWalrus Definitely much harder yup, and you absolutely need to raise the SFX sound level for it. I'm working on becoming more consistent because I personally also want to be able to first-try it every time regardless of server room spawn :D
@@Marcmb I admire your dedication, best of luck on the consistency but i’m glad the idea of it gave you something to test out/practice!! if you can get it down 100% that will be probably the most impressive display of skill in this game :O good luck and if you figure it out, a youtube short/60 second clip demonstrating could be really cool :D
Eyy you did it! Big Bank is now gonna be Big Bankruptcy Protection once people see this guide in their recommended and subscription feeds I didn't watch the video yet, but it already looks promising, I'll edit this comment when I finish, but I'm excited! Edit 1; I didn't finish it yet, but this heist is the prime example of video game logic; keycards left in the open, not being seen through stacks of paper, civilian screams not alerting anyone else, etc.. Gotta love Payday 2 logic. Edit 2; Finished the video, loved every part of it, and it was definitely educational for me; a person who doesn't play Payday 2, so you definitely helped people out. Though I did have a few questions at the end of the video; - Wouldn't it have been easier to have the OVE9000 saw as your secondary instead of primary? - What is the XP/Money comparison between the 4 escapes? - Finally, if you were to change something about Payday 2, what would it be As always, good video, and I look forward to your next guide
Thank you very much, WizardCraft! Very kind comment, and happy to hear you enjoyed the video :) Hopefully many heisters will benefit and learn from this one, yeah! As for your questions: (1) It really depends. Generally, primary saw is better because the good shotguns are often secondaries (Locomotive 12G, The Judge...). Additionally, the game auto-equips your secondary when you mask up, and masking up with a saw by default can be a bit tricky in some situations. In some rushes however, it's good to have the saw as a secondary if you wanna start sawing ASAP :) (2) The loud escapes (Bus and C4 tunneling) have a bonus of +10K base XP (heist reward goes from 63,000 average to 73,000 average). The elevator escape has lower base XP, but you gain a +15% stealth boost for your next heist. Thus, if your next heist is going to reward 66,666 base XP or more, elevator would be better. The number of heists with such a large XP reward are very limited though. (3) My biggest request for PAYDAY2, and something which I would instantly change if I had a chance, is the fact that money bags in the Golden Grin Casino don't reward XP. The looting sequence in that heist is very unique (compared to other heists) and the fact that there's no incentive for moving those 30 money bags is a shame :( Thank you once again for the comment, and I'm glad you're looking forward to the next one! :D
@@Marcmb Thank you for taking the time to read this comment, really appreciate it Even though it's way out of the way, in terms of accessibility and asking the question, there is a game on Roblox (another game which is a platform, just google it) which is labeled Notoriety, it's basically Payday 2 with a lot less diversity, maybe that could be a good one off video for when you're writing the script or preparing for your next video (Edit: Clarification might be needed, ask if you got questions about it)
@@WizardCraft-ox4pe You're welcome! Those were some very good questions :) I've heard a lot about the Roblox PAYDAY game, but unfortunately I have _so many_ video ideas for PAYDAY, that there's no way I can fit any other games in the schedule... which is also a good thing, of course. Better than having no more ideas, I guess!

Hey TV Gaming! The feeling of finally completing a heist for the first time after a few tries is really nice and satisfying. Hope you enjoyed the video! :)

Great guide! So useful for the hack part. One thing that i do and don't really know if helps much is intimidating/threating the cake guard. I feel more safe doing it
Hey Milenko! Glad you found the guide useful, thank you! :) I really like the topic you bring up. The effectiveness of that trick is highly dependant on your concealment. The "puking" animation of the guard lasts only for 11 minutes, so by the time you're moving bags into the elevator, he'll most likely be standing up, like a normal static guard. By intimidating him, it might visually look like you're making him crouch, but actually all it does is make him face forward, i.e., disable his head-tilting idle animations. That's why it's a very good trick with low concealment (you won't ever be detected while going through the initial door, thus you don't need to crouch at the beginning), but awful for mid-range concealment: he's always facing forward, so he'll always very quickly notice you when you're around the elevator, forcing you to crouch more, slowing you down :)
Hey ABluePuzzlePiece! Glad you enjoyed this one, thank you very much! :D Shadow Raid will be coming in the near future, since it was also requested a lot. Not sure in how many weeks, but it will most certainly be the next _Ultimate Stealth Guide_ !
please, *PLEASE* do not forget to do your pre-planning! I spent forever trying to get into the vault and when I bagged the loot you should've seen the look of sheer disappointment on my face when I realized I forgot to select the "elevator trick" escape plan because I got so tired of doing pre-planning between runs 😢
Ouch! Always watch out for that yup... if you get to the end only to find out that you have no escape plan, it gets painful very quickly. I recommend some sort of "Preplan manager" mod, which will load all your preplans after pressing a single keybind, which makes the process a lot less tedious between runs.
@@foxygamer1515 Oooh a console heister. I can definitely see how that would get very tedious yup, having to remember to redo the preplan manually for every attempt :(
I recently went back to this guide trying to learn everything about big bank, and one thing i found out that's not shown here cause the guards from the phone call didn't spawn in this demostrative run, is that you can simply kill them! I always had that happen to me when coming back from the vault to hack the computer so that i can open it and a guard is ALWAYS in the way and he doesn't move at all, with that confirmation you can safely assume he's a phone call guard and kill him and bag him since they dont have pagers! I once waited for like 2 mins to see wether the guard moved and was so bummed i waited that long cause i didn't know you could just kill them lol
Oooh absolutely, yeah! I'm not sure if I mentioned it at some point or not in the video, but since they are blue cops, they do not have pagers! Just like blue cops on other heists such as Election Day.
Something VERY important that didn't get mentioned was that the *GENSEC COPS DON'T HAVE PAGERS!* Failed stealth because I esitated passing in front of the one guarding the manager officer and a normal guard spotted me (after I made sure there were none nearby, my luck probably made one turn around as soon as I stopped looking). Anyway still managed to rush it loud at the end. Can safely say fuck this heist, as rng managed to mess me up so much (civis and guards patrolling constantly where I had to go, restarting about 10 times before the pc was downstairs because everytime I went up there was always a civ or guard passing by, and getting the gensec cops with 4 civ kills, which was my winning run). Anyway great video, helped me very much, but made me overconfident against rng
You're 100% correct, Maurizio! I didn't mention it because blue cops never have pagers (similarly to Election Day DAY2, for example), but that is indeed correct :) Congratulations on your clear! There are many things that can go wrong (as you saw yourself), but now that you completed it once, you can try again after a few weeks, and see how much you've improved! :D The upstairs area is indeed a pain. So many paths where civilians can come from -- that's why I recommend killing the 2-3 workers there when the computer is upstairs (always checking that no civs/guards are coming up the stairs, before you get yourself into a bad position). But definitely a lot of RNG... with more and more clears you get used to these types of things, and runs become much safer!
im not sure about that one, but long time ago i was stealthing big bank without elevator escape, moving all my bags to the van, it took a LOT of time, and at some point, cake guard started to move around, so be careful heisters!
Interesting, XiRouz! I can confirm that, after about ~11 minutes, the cake effect fades, and the guard stands up normally, but he's still stationary. I've never been in the heist long enough for him to start moving, but it might happen if you stay there a veeery long time! Or if you trigger his movement again by breaking cameras or stuff like that (on lower difficulties/old Big Bank).
This heist was an absolute pain in the ass to stealth solo. Didn't help that I went with the standard van escape lol. There's just so many opportunities for things to go wrong with so many roaming civs and guards. I've lost count of how many runs I failed because I had to hack the computers upstairs and got caught trying to sneak between the employees and civs. How many runs I failed because I accidentally alerted a roaming civ in a bad spot, and suddenly the entire bank is alerted. And how many runs I failed trying to get the loot to the van just to get caught by a roaming guard, with no pagers left to spare, absolutely painful. I did successfully get away twice with only 4 bags using my ECMs to delay the alarm, but that's no fun, I wanted ALL the loot. It took me a whole day of trying, again, and again, but I did get a proper full stealth run on this, with all the loot. Only had to kill a single civ (he wasn't cooperating) and tie two others, that I hid besides the east staircase. And I still had a close encounter in the vault room, where I had to kill a guard, use my PCM, kill another guard (cause he saw the corpse of the first one), loop a camera that was looking at the second guard, and answer both pagers before the loop ended. That was quite the adrenaline rush. Had to carry the rest of the loot on my tiptoes cause I had no pagers left after that, lol. After watching this video, I now see how much ineffective and risky some of my choices were. But I'm still surprised how close my successful run was to your strategy here. I appreciate your guides, I'll use this to get better at this heist, and hopefully get to the end more consistently, lol.
Hey there Dynamic! The standard van escape is painful indeed, it's even part of the more "complex" achievement for this heist, called Entrapment. As you say, solo is much harder, and often unfair (because of the PC hack objective). Congrats on your successful completion though! All loot with the van is quite an achievement, and getting through that close call must've felt very good. Well done! :D
fun fact about my first time I ever did the big bank mission I did it loud and on the last bag I was domed by a sniper and had no more downs left so 40 minutes of gameplay wasted and this happened to me so many times on other heists so now I'm so used to it that its comic relief
About hiding bodies behind the manager's desk - I never do this, I've failed the heist because random civilians coming out of the elevators and the manager himself will path behind the desk and see all the bodies. I bring the body bags onto the roof or the garage downstairs if I have to hide them.
Hey Dan DeMilo! That's a good point, many civs do path inside the manager's office. However, the manager stops shortly after entering the room, and those who go further will walk to the corner opposite of the entrance. If you look at how I'm throwing my body bags, I place them in a very specific location, and I make them roll on the ground so that the two tips of the bag end up on top, rather than on the ground. This way, the bag takes up less space, and it can fit behind the desk without being visible from any angle. Very safe! Although if you don't mind the extra distance, the garage/roof are indeed very safe spots, with no risk if you mess up your body bag placement :)
Incidentally your upper floor strategy is identical to mine: clean civs then do objectives with only the guards remaining. I find it to be the most consistent way to do this heist regardless of whether computer spawns on the upper or lower floors, since the chance of bumping a civ around a corner is way too high if none of them are killed. There is also the loud drill glitch but that's for another day.
That's nice, Epsilon! Always good to see other players using the same approaches as me, before seeing the video. Personally, when I find the computer downstairs, since the heist will be much shorter, I still kill civs in the management area (especially if I get an early GenSec call), but I don't go out of my way to kill them. I do play more carefully when going through the timelock door though! EDIT: And loud drill glitch for another day, yup! I want to explain in depth what causes them to become stuck.
26:44 I want to add one more point where things can go wrong, there is a small chance that the security room can spawn near the meeting room (as shown in the video) and right below it is a cage with deposit boxes and the guard can hear it if you open them with a saw. In this case, you need to either use the silent saw trick, or lockpick it (which is much safer, especially if you are doing it solo with a quick buff from bots) P.S. I have long held the idea that this may well be and now I happened to see it. P.P.S. Decided to use the silent saw trick, but during one tap in the air accidentally hit the wall and the guard heard it (don't be greedy, it's better to spend a little more time to make everything safe than to rush and leave with 4 bags)
That is very true yup! Back when I edited this, I didn't want to make the video too long, so I only mentioned it in the video description. The silent saw trick will definitely work, but after doing it so many times there's risk involved... so probably only do it after moving all the other bags!
3kk for 30~ min heist, the "rush" strat where u just run and ecm the rest when needed can be done in 12~ min for 2,3~kk xp, so as long u know how to rush the rush seems to be better
Definitely yes! This guide was about the slow and steady approach, more for beginners. If you're interested in speed, my other video which aims at 7-9 minute completions solo is much better!
You’ve got to appreciate the amount of effort and time this takes to make

"ignore the loose cash"
imagine not taking that for some reason
It's such a shame that there's no XP reward for loose cash! They should implement something like "1% of your loose cash is converted to XP at the end of the heist", to create an incentive to loot absolutely everything :(
Well, it's always nice with some extra money :>
Funny fact that if you're hiding behind employee's chairs and shoot with silent weapons, they will hear it.

I was tempted to cut as much as possible from that section, but I could definitely see some new heisters struggling with the static guard, so I decided to leave that section in the video, just in case :p
Glad you liked the video :)
Personally, I'm really enjoying making thorough videos like this one, so I'm very glad that so many heisters are enjoying them! :D
All of this is true there is only one issue i rage every time i see him kill a Civvie ...
Good to know you're having success with that :)
Personally, I've considered it a few times, but the fact that you can't reach all the different possible PCs means that you often end up having to control both the downstairs and upstairs rooms... and while the GenSec cops are almost irrelevant, I prefer avoiding them when possible! :D
Normally I really dislike videos with text instead of talking but honestly your guides are so good for every mission that It doesnt even bother me. Ive added 6 consistnet missions to my skill set now and am about to work on this one thanks to your videos!
Thanks for the kind words, ninjasmurf! Glad you've been enjoying these heist guides, and learning from them :D
In the future (next year-ish) I will also make guides with voiceover, because I know that some people really prefer those. But until then, once again I'm glad you've liked the guides so far! Thank you :)
26:52
so uh... i completed the 'impossible'
somehow, my body bag at the manager room got spotted.
dont ask me too, idk how that happen
Very safe!
Alternatively, if you don't mind the extra distance, the garage downstairs, or the roof, or behind the ventilation unit next to the red ladder, are all very safe spots to leave your body bags, even if it takes longer to get them there.
this happened to me once too, but I had time to run until the civ and kill her - she tried to call the police, but pECM saved me :D
I've been waiting for this! :D
Happy to hear that, VenomGames! Hopefully you'll enjoy the video, and it'll be useful for your heists :)
@@Marcmb I've finally completed this heist for the first time, got it in the first try, all thanks to this video :)
@@VenomG4 Awesome! Happy to hear that, and glad the video helped :D Good job on pulling it off in just one attempt!
Happy to hear that the heist guides are helping :)
There are indeed many different strategies to tackle each heist, so sometimes I try to explain all the relevant aspects of the heist, so that players can follow a slightly modified strategy, if they prefer :)
In the future, I'll definitely make one guide for Firestarter too!
I could'nt tell with picture guides where exactly keycards are
keep up the great work. thx
Thanks fivid! Back in the day, I also had similar problems with "screenshot compilations" for spawns, so I'm glad that my format helped :)
Thanks for the feedback, and I'll do my best to keep it up!
Can we just take a moment to see how much effort is put into this channel?
Thank you very much, Mike! I appreciate it a lot :)
I'm having a lot of fun making these types of videos, so I'm glad there's many heisters interested in learning from them! :D
@@Marcmb Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed it :)
The drill trick approach is also very interesting, and fun to use!
Congratulations on your first-try completion :D
As for manually lockpicking all the boxes, that's often part of the learning process haha!
But starting with Shadow raid and working through the tutorials I've managed to successfully complete almost every major stealth heist
With information in hand the panic was gone and I realized I had all the time in the world.
In my opinion, for most stealth heists, once you have a clear idea of which guards you should aim to take out (to clear the important areas), and the essential steps of the heist (as well as their time limits, triggers for extra events, etc), it becomes a lot more smooth! I'm glad that my guides are able to convey that information, in a way that's helping you master the heists, and enjoy stealth a lot more! I couldn't ask for more :)
Starting with Shadow Raid was also a very good call, because it's a good one to practice many of these concepts. Congratulations on all your clears all the way up to Framing Frame! Good luck with these few heists left :)
Personally, as soon as I finish making the Ultimate Stealth Guides for all heists, I will also start showcasing modded gameplay and things like that, so I might check out Responsive Responders too!
I need to send this to every random I play with
Hopefully it will help them! There are indeed many heisters who could benefit from learning some of these things :p
And Merry Christmas to you as well :)
I knew you would manage to succeed on the bus approach, but it's good to hear that you managed to get all the bags too!
I always thought this was one of the hardest heist you could do, but with this guide, i stealthed the heist solo with no problems,
Thanks!
You're absolutely welcome Vibing! Glad the guide helped, and congrats on your completion :D
While I already knew most of it, the GenSec sending cops percentage was very useful, I thought it was a flat 5% chance.
Thank you :)
And indeed, brute-forcing the computers solo isn't too bad: you have almost a 50% chance to get it without needing to bother with upstairs, so the odds are quite good!
As for the note at the end, that is very unlucky :( I should've mentioned that in the video, but it's such a low chance for it to happen, and the video was so long already, that I only mentioned it in the description...!
hey! This is one of my favorite and also least favorite stealth heist! I'm glad to see this today : )
Hey Jang! Thank you :)
This is also one of my favorite heists, although I enjoy it a lot more when it's fully rushed -- from start to finish, with all loot! :D
@@Marcmball looting in big bank is fun :) but still painful when we do it solo :(
@@jange8782 Absolutely! Definitely a bit slow when playing solo though, as you say :( Looting in general is a lot more fun, and efficient, with a full lobby! :D
this has been my dream stealth mission for 10 years and i'm gonna finally start studying it so i can finally do it.
Hopefully the guide will help, Rant! Let me know if you need anything :)
Also note that, in the current update, the downstairs 4 civilians are buggy, so even though they are sitting, their eyes are standing. Makes it a lot less straightforward to hack those downstairs PCs...
Quality as always!
Thanks Marc!
Much appreciated, cute doink! Glad you liked this one :)
I may be months late but hey
Mr. Marcmb you've taught me well. Just a few hours ago I solo stealthed this bank for the first time. Thanks man. I've been trying for so long and finally I did it.
Hey goodguysab! Happy to hear that the guide helped, thank you very much! Glad I was able to help, and congrats on your clear :)
Hey man, these guides are awesome. I cannot imagine how much time it consumes to just do one of them. Or the gathering of the indepth knowlege about the individual heists alone. You are truly awesome. :) Thanks!
One small point of constructive criticism though:
You could voice the tips instead of subbing them. It would be easier/more convinient to process all the information you throw at us. ^^
Thanks a lot Vyretth, I appreciate it!
They do take a while to make, but it's really fun, and it's good to see that they are being useful, and heisters are enjoying them :)
Thanks as well for the feedback! I do have some plans for videos with voiceover in the future, but my current idea was to first finish the "Ultimate Stealth Guides" series with text only, because some viewers prefer that type of thing! Although I might revisit them in the future, and explain them in a different way with voice-over included...
I wasn't really feeling it. But when you destroyed that plant, man. I knew right there that you were a pro!
Haha :D That one in particular just gets in the way completely, when you're trying to look towards the management offices. Definitely a good plant to take out!
Thanks man, I appreciate you making these guides
Thank you Delta! Glad you're enjoying them, they are really fun to make :)
I don't remember which heists are best for War Documents, because I got mine a long time ago... good luck with your Big Bank attempts though, and have fun!!

Glad this guide helped, Mr Big! You are absolutely right: simply watching advanced heisters does not give you enough knowledge to pull off the heists reliably... glad you enjoyed the format! :)
@@Marcmb I really enjoyed it, but is it possible to collect the key card while not being masked up, because it didn’t work for me.
- Sixth Sense is a skill from the Ghost tree, you just get it with skill points (see build video, in description)
- Pocket ECM is equipped automatically when using the Hacker perk deck (see perk deck video, in description)
- Lower difficulties generally have fewer guards, and easier objectives.
For Golden Grin, you can know which of the 2 gamblers will have the keycard based on static guard spawns (which makes finding the drink before masking up really easy), although getting the keycard early is very tricky, and maybe unreliable if you plan to sequence-break.
Big Bank takes some time to get used to the guard patterns, but hopefully this video helps, at least with the keycard spawns :)
Thank you bro, thanks to this guide I legit stealthed this heist on the first try
Happy to hear the guide helped, EarthStar! Congrats on your completion :)
3:55 perfectly cut screams
Haha true! Not sure if I did it on purpose while editing, but glad you liked it :p
I remember when I got to the vault after like 30 attempts and 30 minutes in one attempt and then realised I never changed the escape option
Awww, that happens yeah, that's awful :( Hopefully you managed to move a few bags to the default van escape :p
You're welcome gaben! Hopefully the guide will help you. Good luck with your attempts! :)

infamy is just playing alot, not playing better each time.
Actually its the reverse if you really grind infamy because of the better xp rewards its playing worse just for efficiency.

That's one of the reasons I like always showing the XP breakdown at the end of the heists, in case I ever want to check what the XP/stealth bonuses are for certain heists :p
The reason for the difference is because, a few patches ago, Big Bank was buffed to reward an additional +10,000 XP, so old sources like The Long Guide (amazing, but unupdated) or the wiki have not been updated. That's also why, if you check out one of my Big Bank ECM rushes (using bus escape for +10,000 XP) those go up to 74,000 XP, or 75,000 with maximum amount of random bags :)
I have definetly been waiting for this video. Finished this heist in stealth around 10 times before it got released tho :D
But hey, once again I have learned some new tricks.
Hopefully the video lived up to its expectations :p
You're absolutely right about the escape.
By the way, maybe mod id 26777 will be interesting for you.
@@mediumplayer1 Very good points, indeed. Every now and then I also get some _cowards_ in my lobbies who just rush to the garage and take the bags straight to the van, without even helping moving them from the bank room through the bus. In my Big Bank full ECM rush guide, I made sure to mention this was awful for team play, but unfortunately it's impossible to expect everyone to see the video :p
The response time is actually surprisingly long (70s with preplanning and civ), so for that reason I also recommend just moving them all through the bus directly, when going for the full ECM rush.
Luckily, the solution is as simple as standing elsewhere when the bus arrives :p
Finally, as for the mod, I've never had many problems with the wrinkles on the gloves (the clipping when they were released was awful though), but it's nice to see the community making mods for these things!
I really like the high quality content on this channel, I'm curious how much time did it take to do this. All the montage, researching info, restarting to get all the keycards locations for screenshots
Thanks Dimitri! Glad you're enjoying the content, much appreciated :D
These types of videos do indeed take a while to make, considering all the different spawns for everything, and the fact I always want to double-check everything that I teach in the video.
Luckily, most of the "researching part" is done ahead of time, because of all the hours I've been playing the game, so it's often very straightforward! Plus I really enjoy the process, so I have a lot of fun while doing it :)
Litterally best heist teaching channel on whole youtube. Thanks a lot man

Happy to hear that, Kenepshin! I appreciate it a lot, thank you very much! :D
I'm a big fan of the bus escape (been recommending it since my first month as a PAYDAY2 content creator), but it's a bit of an overstatement to say that elevator rewards about half the XP :p The difference is actually 10K base XP, going from an average of 63,000 to an average of 73,000.
Definitely much better when ECM rushing though! Not sure if you've seen my multiple videos about fully ECM rushing the Big Bank :)
As for starting the rush after the timelock door opens, I do that when the heisters in the lobby are struggling with the pocket ECM timings, but it's considerably easier so it gets a bit boring for me, so I always prefer the full rush, if the team can pull it off!
Many random public lobbies often struggle with things like lobby order, bringing the required ECM skills for ECM rushing... although it's really nice when you find a rare public lobby where that doesn't happen :)
If you're interested in that kind of gameplay, you can try joining a community of heisters who often play that type of thing, for example my Steam group chat (in the description) -- completely optional and only if you're interested, of course!
Now I know everything about Big Bank :3
Hope you enjoyed the video, Elite ARMY! Next time you're playing the heist and the phone starts ringing, you can safely delay the response by ~40s to scare your teammates :p
@@Marcmb lmao if I do that I'd get kicked for ruining the stealth 😂
@@TickTock725 Hey there Zer0! Definitely don't try it on random lobbies yeah :p
While doing full ECM rushes however, something fun which you can do is gather all the players around the phone, and see who is the coward who answers it first! :D Only for experienced lobbies though, because while learning it's better to focus exclusively on the ECM timers!
@@Marcmb lol sounds like a fun mini game thanks!
No one else is putting as much time as you do to make these kind of very detailed guides, and it's really cool to have them ! keep up the good work
Thank you very much, Babushka!

@@eliot3638 Thanks! Hopefully the videos until then will be interesting or useful :)
2:02 lucky me, when I tried to stealth this with randoms we got that 5% 2 times in a row lol
(Shame that both attempts failed, coz guards saw us and decides to shoot)
Nice, twice in a row! That is VERY lucky!!
If you would like to understand what causes guards to decide to shoot, I recommend this video! th-cam.com/video/41HGse2KDUI/w-d-xo.html -- with a bit more experience, you can understand why they are shooting, and avoid it! :)
@@Marcmb I watched but...the scenario for me still doesn’t make sense...I left a comment over there explaining what happened
@@Cucumber_Dragon I see! If the video didn't explain your situation, there's one more trigger which wasn't explained in that video because of historical reasons. I left an explanation on that comment! That should definitely be it, because the guard gunfire triggers are actually quite limited :)

You're welcome, Alexis! Hopefully it will be helpful, and thank you for watching :)
Where are you 3 years ago, when I'm struggling to do this heist 😝😝😝
Haha, hopefully new heisters who are in the same position will now have a good resource to learn this heist :p
Always learn new things from your videos,🙂
The way you arrange the clips are very delightful to watch.
The only problem is I don't get sleepy after watching, the contents are to interesting, I have to watch every tips till the end. 😝👍

Glad the guide helped Cyril, that's great! And congratulations on your solo clear, good job :)
Marc: Don’t take the loose cash!
Me, a money hungry gremlin: *Ok*
Also, I’m starting to think Overkill is putting a lot of effort to prevent counterfeit stealthing lol
You have to resist the urge, in order to get that optimal XP farming efficiency! :p
Although if you really like the cash, you can get it, no worries haha :D
And you're absolutely right :( Ever since Infamy 3.0 was released, I think they saw that as a reason to patch the strategy... sad :(
@@Marcmb
tbh, they would probably be less worried about it and think of implementing a full Counterfeit stealth if the heist wasn’t, you know
_infinite_
Finally!!!!!!!!
Here it is, at last! One of the highly requested stealth guides, together with Framing Frame. Took a while, but it's finally ready! :D
@@Marcmb That was exactly what happened lol
@@dr.bubonic4471 :( Very unfortunate every time it happens... you really have to be very careful when aiming that final bag throw!
Thanks for these this is the second time I've watched this and I always watch your videos before I start trying a heist.
You're absolutely welcome Jordan! Glad to hear my guides have been helping :)
Big Bank is now gonna be Big Bankruptcy Protection once people see this guide in their recommended and subscription feeds
I didn't watch the video yet, but it already looks promising, I'll edit this comment when I finish, but I'm excited!
Though I did have a few questions at the end of the video;
- Wouldn't it have been easier to have the OVE9000 saw as your secondary instead of primary?
- What is the XP/Money comparison between the 4 escapes?
- Finally, if you were to change something about Payday 2, what would it be
As always, good video, and I look forward to your next guide
Thank you very much, WizardCraft! Very kind comment, and happy to hear you enjoyed the video :)
Hopefully many heisters will benefit and learn from this one, yeah! As for your questions:
(1) It really depends. Generally, primary saw is better because the good shotguns are often secondaries (Locomotive 12G, The Judge...). Additionally, the game auto-equips your secondary when you mask up, and masking up with a saw by default can be a bit tricky in some situations. In some rushes however, it's good to have the saw as a secondary if you wanna start sawing ASAP :)
(2) The loud escapes (Bus and C4 tunneling) have a bonus of +10K base XP (heist reward goes from 63,000 average to 73,000 average).
The looting sequence in that heist is very unique (compared to other heists) and the fact that there's no incentive for moving those 30 money bags is a shame :(
Thank you once again for the comment, and I'm glad you're looking forward to the next one! :D
@@Marcmb Thank you for taking the time to read this comment, really appreciate it
Even though it's way out of the way, in terms of accessibility and asking the question, there is a game on Roblox (another game which is a platform, just google it) which is labeled Notoriety, it's basically Payday 2 with a lot less diversity, maybe that could be a good one off video for when you're writing the script or preparing for your next video
(Edit: Clarification might be needed, ask if you got questions about it)
@@WizardCraft-ox4pe You're welcome! Those were some very good questions :)
I've heard a lot about the Roblox PAYDAY game, but unfortunately I have _so many_ video ideas for PAYDAY, that there's no way I can fit any other games in the schedule... which is also a good thing, of course. Better than having no more ideas, I guess!
@@Marcmb fair enougb reasoning, just take your time and don't overwork yourself, but either way, Notoriety is kind of boring after a while so I hear, and I doubt it's going anywhere

Great guide! So useful for the hack part.
One thing that i do and don't really know if helps much is intimidating/threating the cake guard. I feel more safe doing it
Hey Milenko! Glad you found the guide useful, thank you! :)
I really like the topic you bring up.
Appreciate the high-quality guides, marc. I envy your dedication to this game :)
Thank you very much pidkam! Very kind of you, glad you're enjoying the guides :D
Now all i need for true spiritual happiness is a shadow raid guide. Godspeed you magnificent bastard!
Hey ABluePuzzlePiece! Glad you enjoyed this one, thank you very much! :D
Shadow Raid will be coming in the near future, since it was also requested a lot.
@@Marcmb would love to install that but I play on ps4 so unfortunately I have no mod access 😔
@@foxygamer1515 Oooh a console heister. I can definitely see how that would get very tedious yup, having to remember to redo the preplan manually for every attempt :(
Excellent video! Ur channel is so underrated
Thanks a lot Reboot! Glad you enjoyed the video, much appreciated :D
The amount of detail and effort you put on evert video its incredible, keep the good work :^)
Thank you very much, Miguel! Glad you enjoyed it :) I'll do my best to keep it up!
Something VERY important that didn't get mentioned was that the *GENSEC COPS DON'T HAVE PAGERS!*
Failed stealth because I esitated passing in front of the one guarding the manager officer and a normal guard spotted me (after I made sure there were none nearby, my luck probably made one turn around as soon as I stopped looking).
I didn't mention it because blue cops never have pagers (similarly to Election Day DAY2, for example), but that is indeed correct :)
Congratulations on your clear! There are many things that can go wrong (as you saw yourself), but now that you completed it once, you can try again after a few weeks, and see how much you've improved! :D
The upstairs area is indeed a pain.
Good insight. I can usually do big bank, though not reliably, and this will help fix that.
5 times tried after watching your guide 'n' i made it! It sure helps a lot! sincerely thanks! :D:D

Thanks a lot, suyantono! Glad you enjoyed this one :) I'll do my best to keep it up!
Well done! :D
Thank you so much! I couldn't have done this without your video!
Nice, you're absolutely welcome! Glad to know the video helped, and congrats on your completion! :)
fun fact about my first time I ever did the big bank mission I did it loud and on the last bag I was domed by a sniper and had no more downs left so 40 minutes of gameplay wasted and this happened to me so many times on other heists so now I'm so used to it that its comic relief
Ouch! Very awful timing to be downed after all that much work :D Loud heists are definitely a very different experience...
You put a lot of effort into your videos and they definitely help me out! Thank you so much, you're amazing!
You're absolutely welcome, Thomas! Happy to hear the guides are helping, and thank you very much for the nice comment! :)
In this case, you need to either use the silent saw trick, or lockpick it (which is much safer, especially if you are doing it solo with a quick buff from bots)
4:30 damn, for a bank robbery game, the NPCS look pretty alive, thats crazy
Yes! They also have voicelines with long conversations and some silly jokes. Overall really well done :D
