I got my visa just this morning. They didnt ask for any docs or bank certificate. I dont have any relative there and im traveling alone.
Bank amount should be able to sustain your stay in the US. I said i will only stay for 20 days to fulfill my bucket list and i just had around 100kphp in my account. They just got my pp nothing else.

@@lynromulo4926 ITR, COE, Bank Deposit Certificate lang, pero ni isa wala namang hiningi. Pero depende parin sa circumstance mo yan at paano ka mag respond sa Question ng Visa Officer.

Tama... dapat marami ka ng bansa na napuntahan... usually they check your passport or ask you questions on how many countries have you been to...? Tama din na they don't check bank accounts... Good tips there.
Zarah Lina you got to have money to travel to support yourself or a family members in US to support your visit( family in US supporting you sometimes don’t work to obtained visa)plain and simple.
Assiram ASOS yes you are also right... in my case they did NOT even ask me about my bank account... maybe coz i applied my visa abroad. Different cases in different basis... but it is better to be ready just in case they will ask you for a bank statement... Good luck to everyone applying.

Medyo nakakakaba talaga sa loob ng embassy lalo nat medyo naririnig mo yung interview sa mga nauna sakin tapos na denied pa.
Buti na lang kaunti lang tinanong sa akin:
1.) Saan daw ako sa US pupunta at layunin ko.
2.) Ilan ang empleyado ko sa firm ko
Maliban sa passport ko, walang ni isang supporting documents ang hiningi sa akin lalo na mga bank cert. ITR, FS, etc.

Isa lang ang conclusion ko, nabigyan ka ng visa dahil maganda ka! Ganda lang ang puhunan Lalo na kung ang nag-interview sayo eh lalaki! Suerte-suerte lang yan! Kahit may condominium ka pa o may milyon na bank account o nakapag-viaje kung saan-saan, pag hindi ka nila feel, bale wala lahat yon!
Sad to say deskriminasyon kung yan batayan. Bakit nga ba sa london australia japan basta financially stable ka at me travel history ok na wala ng interview. Ano bang meron sa America na wala sa ibang bansa at kelangan pa ng ganyan kung pakay mo lang naman e magtour di ba malakas naman ang intel nila.
Nabigyan ako ng US visa nung Friday after 4 attempts! Finally! Totoo yung sinabi mo na dapat nakapag-travel ka na sa ibang bansa. Sa tingin ko nakatulong talaga yung Japan and Schengen Visas ko na may multiple entries. Mas confident ako sa interview ko ngayon dahil may sariling business na ako dito. Kahit single at walang kids, meron parin akong solid reason to come back to the Philippines. Kaya sa mga naka-ilang beses na rin na sumubok na makakuha ng US visa, wag kayo mawalan ng pag-asa! I expected the worse pero sinubukan ko parin, at ayun, pinagbigyan na nila ako. :)

This was already my second time applying for a US visa and was second time denied without giving me a concrete reason to my question WHY?As per advised I prepared all the docs needed/required but its so unfortunate that they did not even look at it and have the guts to questioning me on how I can support my travel,when all he have to do is to check the envelope because I have bank cert with last 6months SOA in there,that I am sure would be more than enough for a 1 week tour,a condo unit in my name..that I will not abandon for sure! I applied for a Schengen visa and no same problem like I experieced applying for a US visa..I already travelled in 6 European countries and came back here in the Philippines.. Its just so rediculous and unacceptable already,denying my visa doing the so-called smart judgment. where is it coming from?what is the basis for approve and denied? The lady before me when asked when to go back to the Philippines answered "I DO NOT KNOW" was granted a visa..dahhhh
That's the thing right? They don't ask for documents. They base solely on the answers you give them. Kahit mayaman ka wala silang pakealam. Because I think having money would also mean you have the capacity to live in the US. Kaya they perceive everyone who tries to get a visa as immigrants- no exceptions, and you have to prove them wrong. Try mo na lang ulit, and don't think of it as an interview. More on nakikipag-kwentuhan ka lang. Di ako naniniwala dun sa sinasabi nila na isang tanong, isang sagot. I think the clearer the details you give them the better. :)
As for the lady who answered "IDK" and was granted a visa, haha! Matanda na ba? Baka nakailang beses na din siya mag-apply 😂

The reasons you got a visa because you have traveled already in so many countries your situation is different to some who had not travel outside Philippines. Your advice is pointless to some.
I will still be approved even if I haven't travelled to those countries cause I already proved my rootedness here.

You didn’t mentioned is how you got approved for visa.say even you have not traveled in so many countries the only reasons I would think of is you are being supported by your parents.
There is no other that reason that you would have approved a visa you got to have money to be able to show that you are capable of supporting yourself.
Stop the BS.
You didn’t mentioned also that you may have business that will allow you to travel to US or you may have approve for a Student visa.
You failed to mentioned all the circumstances of your approval of visa.
I have no against of you obtaining visa which is good but you got to be honest.
As far as interview what you’ve said is true it’s about being truthful to answer all the questions.
It’s all about money you can’t travel if you don’t have money to support your leisure.
Assiram ASOS Getting a Schengen visa is much harder and I was also approved. That was my first time to travel outside my home country. You know why I got approved? It’s because I am employed here, I have no criminal records, and I proved through the interview that I am eligible to be given a visa. Stop being salty.
Honestly.. travels from another country is not a huge factor. Thats a myth. Pinaka malaking part ang LUCK and mood ng magiinterview sayo.

my best advice go anywhere abroad for a vacation prior to applying for a tourst visa, if the consul asks why the US, say it's on your bucket list, i was denied twice, think of it as a numbers game, keep applying.

Hello ganda...example on your visa application you state 2weeks visit then they issued you a 6months validity...okey lng po ba na mag extend vacation mo basta hindi lng lagpas ng 6months?
Ang US immigration officer ng airport ang magbibigay po sa inyo kung ilan days or buwan kayo pwede mag stay sa US.
Hindi po sa validity ng visa po tinitignan ang pag stay sa US. Nagbibigay ang US embassy ng visa is valid for 10 years. Hindi porket 10 years eh 10 years na rin walang uwian sa pilipinas hehhee. Ang maximum stay lang po na binibigay ay 6 months to stay in the US. Kung gusto ninyo uli magbakasyon sa US eh pwede naman bumalik as long as valid pa po ang inyong US visa.

In cases of younger applicants who may not have had an opportunity to form many ties, consular officers may look at the applicants specific intentions, family situations, and long-range plans and prospects within his or her country of residence. Each case is examined individually and is accorded every consideration under the law.

Anyways, ang US contact information at where i'm staying while in US and who will be paying ay sya(bf) with the contact address & # of him sa details and relationship with him is FRIEND. Do you think mgkakaproblema ako? or big chance madeny?? My Occupation sa form is Student and I wrote my duties as 3rd year nursing student. I am also married in the form but do not know ang address ni spouse. Btw, sasabihin ko lng na special frnd ko c bf. I've been separated for 10yrs with ongoing annulment and i dont really know where my estranged husband. I am currently a nursing student who plan to visit him during my school break but i need to go back for school. Do i need his bank statement details etc? kung wala kayong work dapat business ninyo mismo. ang parents po ninyo ang mag business baka malabo po kayo ma approve kasi hindi po ninyo obligasyon balikan ang business ng parents po ninyo. Ang gusto makita ng consul na kayo mismo ang may obligasyon. Katulad ng asawa at anak tinatanong yan kasi isa yan sa ties dahil babalikan mo sarili mong pamilya.
