  • Here is a little segment of video shot ahead of our upcoming UrS buyer's guide video. Think of this as a bit of a teaser video with more to come later this spring!
This is a republished video. Our first one had issues at the end of the video which have been corrected in this segment.

Please keep making these videos! I just bought a 94 UrS4 as a project and it’s so hard to find any good info on these things

Good call. Get in behind the fender liners once a year. Salt can get trapped inside the fender and they typically rust out from the inside. That's the part to watch out for most. Best to clean out when you swap winter for summer wheels, as Darin explains. Lowering springs is the only thing that car needs!

The C4 Audis are wildly underappreciated.

This is true! I'd expect these to be worth as much as an E36 by now but there still seems to be a nice price gap between the 2

Great videos as always. Can you talk about headlights in a video? In my opinion, the only negative point about these cars is the weak beam of front lights. Keep up the good work

About the ride height I don't know about the US versions, but here in Europe standard URS4/S6 have the comfort chassis those with the sport chassis are a bit lower and have a rear sway bar. Mine is a 92 and is standard.

The 100/A6 models here in the U.S. did sit slightly higher and did have softer springs and dampening vs the UrS4/S6. Our 1992 models got the the rear sway bar and the euro spec springs.

Awesome videos!!! I've been chasing a A/C issue that may be linked to my missing OAT sensor on the front bumper. Previous Owner had a small collison and my sensor is missing along with the wiring. You got any pictures of how it should be routed? I know that the wires end up in the passenger right side kick panel, but from there I'm not sure where it comes out of the firewall and how it is routed.

Very well kept and clean example. Not a fan of the GM coils. I swapped out all the coils for OEM Bremi units for $450. They will outlast the car and have the proper dwell for cold starting.

In the past I had swapped all of my coils (on two cars) for full new sets of the O.E. spec units from Beru. They do last a long time but started failing again so I removed them and went the LS route. I did retain the stock setup (with a good replacement coil) so I can go back to full-stock if desired but the LS coils have been flawless on all three cars. I'm in Minneapolis so I can tell you cold starts are definitely not an issue with them either. Tested to about -22F so far. ;-)

@@SCARSORGofficial I see. The 2.0T/4.2L coils caused lots of problems for me when cold. To each their own. At this point it’s seems pretty rare for people to go with factory coils.

The bremi coils are absolutely nothing but problems. I went 2.0 redtops and no issues no problems
