S1 E2: Adv Malaysia: Riding between fog, lush green tea fields and islands

- In the second episode of our adventure riding through Malaysia, we start our journey by exploring Kuala Lumpur, and then continue our adventure motorcycle road trip to the foggy Genting Highlands, before we ride the bikers dream of a road towards the beautiful green tea fields of Cameron Highlands. It was this ride where Oli hat his realisation that we are really doing this trip! We were stunned by the fog and the beautiful tea fields, and when we finally tried the famous tea we were in heaven! The perfect preparation for the final stretch of this journey to reach Penang Island!

Hi Hi Oli, TQ for sharing your nice biking videos! FYI, the a highway (4 lanes) from KL to Genting and its toll free for motorbike only (other vehicle to pay toll). The road you used to go up Genting is an old & no longer used road (except when the main highway to Genting is jam)

The bridge used to Penang is not the original bridge. It is the 2nd Penang bridge which is 24km. Can get quite boring but nice thing about it is there are little to no traffic on it

Hi. In Malaysia the letter G is pronounced like how you say suGar.
Genting is not Jenting. Most people would understand but some would wonder when you have a conversation. 😅
Genting highlands is estimated to at 1800 metres, or just over a mile high. The fog you saw was probably clouds (if its coming down from above). If it appears from ground, it is definitely fog (common at night and during or after rain) during which the combination of both gives zero visibility and one would find it difficult to walk.

Isn't it too hot with your motorbike clothes? Temperature is often around 30°C in Malaysia
It is quite hot, yes 😅 but safety is important to us, since it's a long journey, and our jackets and pants from @alpinestars provide good ventilation 😊
