On my ‘99 Tracker donor, the OE coolant sensor on the back of the head fed the PCM AND dash gauge. I did add a thermal switch in the same water jacket but as a ground trigger for the cooling fan relay.
thanks buddy, under my spray on bed liner paint job mine is the same color as yours. Wish I could take that old bed liner off without destroying the finish.
Keep the info coming, my 1.3 just croaked, i need to start gathering parts, would love to have someone with your knowledge but that is way outta the budget, btw you got a new sub for such good info👍👍👍

hope it was easy to get the air bubbles out of the coolant. my 2.3 in the Sport was a nightmare!!!
Well funny you should mention that, when we left the shop I’m pretty sure it had one in it since the thermostat wouldn’t open 🤣🫣
Don’t forget to tie the clutch cable back away from the header or it will fail…… ask me how I know 😂
Absolutely agree 🤣
If the header is not stainless, Better not wrap it.
Yeah I had mixed feelings about doing it.
@@CTMadModz DEI makes a velcro 1/2 inch heat shield tube that works great for the clutch cable.
Do you think this would fit with a right hand drive better?
Yeah it probably would, but the only reason I had to modify the exhaust so much was due to her Toyota steering box being further back on the frame
Another great video.
Thank you for watching, I appreciate your support 🤗
