I’m blessed to say I’ve known this girl my whole life. Growing up with her, she had the most humble soul of anyone I knew. Kelsie is an awesome girl and I can’t wait to see where her journey takes her❤️

So many people can relate to Kelsey. I think everybody has or has had a self esteem problem at some point. It was good to see Kelsey's confidence grow. She has one heck of a voice.

She is what American Idol is all about. She's unique, humble and very talented. She sings truly and simply without the screeching and yelling so many others do to try to impress, fit in and be like everyone else.

Kelsie was definitely my favorite contestant this season, and even though she is no longer in the running, I can't wait to see what's next for her. I actually got to meet her at a hometown meet-and-greet over the weekend.

@@antising8834When I met her last year, she was already expecting, and her due date was the same day as my birthday. Although I never did find out the exact date she delivered.
She was inspiring to many people watching her OVERCOME.

It seems as though each year of Idol there are contestants who are told, "You are what American Idol is all about". But they don't make the final rounds. I am brokenhearted that Kelsie was not put through. If she's the reason we have American Idol, why isn't she still there? She had the most naturally beautiful voice of anyone in the competition. The more I think of Kelsie the more angry I get that she isn't there. I hadn't watched Idol in many years. Kelsie brought me back to the show but no longer.

She’ll be back, and she’ll have the experience and confidence to push through the next time. The judges know what they’re doing. They took her from point A to point B. she’s not ready to go all the way to Z right now. she’ll come back and when she does, she’ll be ready to go all the way.

I was so sad that Kelcie left the show. The judges built her up, encouraged her and then dumped her. I wish she had gone one more step. She never had much and for her to go to Hawaii would have been the most exciting thing ever . She was by far my favorite.
True but the longer she stays, the more she might expect. Look at Susan Boyle, she really thought she was gonna win BGT and when she didn't it destroyed her (she's fine now tho). Going too fast isn't always the best especially when you're not ready.
It would be better for Kelsie to prepare more and come back stronger next year.

Giving her a Miss America to duet with was a mistake. That would be so overwhelming & just reinforce any self esteem issues she had. ( I was v similar to Kelsey at that age so I know how I'd have felt ).
She didn’t perform it’s all of nothing. I like her too but she had the vocals just not performing
They did it so gently and lovingly, though. The next rounds would have been very harsh and pressured for her and I think they protected her from the rat race to come. That is looking out for her.

I love this young lady. I'm shy too...but I always push myself to do things I'm terrified of. Believe it or not I always come out on top. I'm just so glad that she got out of her own way. Not everyone can make it as far as she did. I'm so proud 👏 of her. Keep singing and doing your thing Chelsea!!

There's a lot of professionals who have the worst stage fright. Wish they'd focused on her positives rather than what they perceived as a negative. Only thing negative here is we're minus Kelsie. Big mistake the judges made here.

Her audition was her best performance. Hopefully she will continue to practice and perform since she now has a fan base. It was interesting to see her overcome her low confidence level. Hopefully she got some good advice on the show. I had to go back and watch all her performances on TH-cam. I'd say, she should practice her craft, just be herself, and perform on a noncompetitive stage or record from now on. She's got her own personal style and shouldn't try to compete with people who have a broader singing range.
She's got the talent, she's just not ready ... She'll have her moment...she doesn't need American Idol.. she'll be a star on her own ⭐❤️🎶
