  • In this next video we show our progress refitting the engine, plumbing in the wastegate and first start up.
    We then go on to tune the vehicle on our in-house dyno

    Interesting. The NA fiesta st has a much deeper rear bumper. There is a 10cm ledge where the hatch meets the bumper.

    That is great power, and it was really good to see the build work going into this engine. With that power it really need to be 4WD?

      Thank you 🙏 this really is just proof of concept at the moment, we plan to push this platform even further over the coming months.
      3rd gear already struggles for traction but hopefully with some new stickier tyres soon we may get some grip.
      We plan to do some drag events next year in the car to see how fast a street spec fiesta can go!

      AWD would be really great for it, i'm looking in to swapping a ford ecosport diff and suspension in it, but the gearbox is an issue, the default one can't really be used with awd, and basically nothing else fits, so i'm thinking of getting a custom bell housing cnc machined with a kotouc 7 speed sequential which to me seems like the easiest option, but not cheap

    I was with you in January when mine got rod knock at idle 😂 sad times. I’ve rebuilt it and just about to install it again next week😁. (It will have the correct amount of oil in this time 😄)
    What turbo is your red one running ?

      This car is running a Pulsar (Chinese) G25-550 turbo

      I got home at 11pm that night, when AA decided they would recover me, I was so lucky parking outside a ladies house who made me food and cups of tea 😄 even met all her family..nicest person ever 🙏🏼
      Fingers crossed it goes well this time. 4ltrs and nothing less this time 😂
      The pulsar stuff looks pretty decent so hopefully it last longer than turbo technics at 40k for me 😭

    Why run the inlet right over the top of the turbo? Why not direct it the other way around the engine and have the air filter sit behind the light?

      Hi, we initially wanted to keep this set up as OEM as possible so that it would even fit with other aftermarket crossover pipes

    So you can map big turbo fiestas but not big turbo mk3 focus?

      Completely different and much simpler boost control strategies in the Fiesta ECU’s

      Looks similar but this was custom made to fit the turbo kit

      Our next step is to fit high flow in-tank pump + new OEM high-pressure pump
      Then we have an auxiliary fuelling set up to fit 😎

      3” exhaust is big enough, air intake sits exactly where the cold are is sucked in and I’m sure these boys will be tracking coolant temps regularly
