I have the small gravel toiletry kit and I absolutely adore it. everything on that bag feels so good to the touch. i intentionally got the smallest in order to practice essentialism and by now I learned what i really need. its a great feeling.

In my gravel (both slim and plus) I use that little pocket to store my sewing kit and ear plus (which I don’t normally need but it’s nice to have)
On my mid-size Gravel bag I use the small pocket to store 3 sizes of combes for my Philips OneBlade. Works well for shorter beards and is the smallest good machine I've found.
I worry a bit that I'm losing a lot of space to the bag material so if I need to pack super small I use an Osprey thing that cinches down and uses very lightweight materials.
condoms are the only thing that go in the secret condom pocket. haha 😂

What one do you prefer ? I’m considering the plus but fear it’s too big
I feel like that little pocket could be used for those portable square paper packets of like two advils or whatever. (though you could probably just bring a whole bottle in this big of a kit). Or floss, and just make that whole section the tooth stuff section.

6:45 a lot of international destinations (I know, but one day) still require the removal of liquids/gels from your gear, so this is still really handy.
I think the Tom Bihn will be great for me when traveling and my ADHD to store keys, and things in my pockets. I always lose this stuff and spend time looking for them.

My husband used the Gravel Explorer Plus toiletries bag on a hiking trip to Nepal a couple of years ago, and brought back a small lump of salt that he keeps in that tiny zippered compartment. I'll bet nobody can beat that ;)

Hi all! I'm on the hunt for a dopp kit that can be used as a makeup bag where I can keep a buch of makeup as well as brushes. Anyone has any insight into which bag is best for this? I quite like the bellroy dopp kit but can't tell how much space there'll be and not as many pockets as the peak design toiletry bag
I want the "see through guy" for my photographic stuff, filters, lens hoods and other shit. Perfect. If you buy dedicated photographic bags for this stuff you pay through the nose

Will the gravel explorer max fit in the top waterproof section of the pakt travel backpack?
I use the mini in that pocket everyday currently, but haven’t tested the max.

you need the big one if you are going for 6months
No need for cottage brands at 10× the price. Most 'Surf brand' pencil cases work great, last well and are often waterproof.
