Oh that sucks. That’s super rare. Our warranty covers that for sure. We’ll get another one out ASAP!

I wish more toiletry bags would include the clear bag for going through TSA. It seems like an oversight of a lot of otherwise very cool bags

It'd be nice to see a review actually making more use of a toiletry bag and seeing the limits of what can be stuffed into one. Facial products, make up products, a brush,...?

Next time load it up. I can get a lot of stuff in the one I own. I wouldn’t even need a Dopp kit if I only needed to travel with that tiny amount of toiletries. 😂 Note: Your toothbrush and toothpaste goes in the rubbery section.
    It’s a really good product.

Im glad you did this review, I was curious about this pouch, sad to see the zipper fail but its good that it did in review so we can know,

Its a great dopp it. And they have life long warranty. I own one and have no issues whatsoever.

@@themurderbotfeed7688 I can second Jez T's experience - have used mine since the Kickstarter and it has held up perfectly.

On your link, it is seventy five dollars, but at their website, it's only forty nine.

This vs Peak Design Wash Pouch?

This is better. Peak design looks nice but I feel this is more useful. The clam shell opening is such a great feature that people often overlook

I have been using the Gravel Explorer Plus for around 1 1/2 years now for about 15 trips to 10 different countries. It has held up superb without ANY wear or tear which really surprised me but shows the quality! I also use the Gravel Layover blanket ever since their kickstarter and I can really say that Gravel makes great products. The Explorer Plus might be a tad big and „overorganized“ but it works great for me especially for longer 2-4 week trips as I also organize my emergency meds inside it!

I was so excited until the zipper flaw! That’s massive, I don’t want that in my toiletry bag and my stuff just falling everywhere. Bummer

Forget it. For this kind of money, the zipper should last a lifetime. Thanks for the review!

I’d be pretty disappointed / upset if I spent this much money on a kit like this and the zipper failed like that.

The web review was posted in April 2020. It was apparently updated in March 2021, and yet it still has no follow-up on the zipper warranty.
And there is no "one year in" update to share how the bag is holding up. What else was so much more important to update?
