But it’s a lot thicker and more coarse than usual Don’t know if that matters or not But my hair is really short. I like the messy look but don’t like gel or hair spray so I’ve been looking for something that doesn’t harden like those do Hoping this works haha If there’s any other type that will do the same but a better smell please let know and I’ll order it too! I like the cupcake sounding one and the tropical sounding one but they are out. I am curious about the winter one but don’t know if it would work for me since I’m not wanting a pompadour or anything

Just recently purchased this and for me at least it’s definitely better than Pacinos Matte two dime size scoops of that with lightly damp hair left it stiff and gel like. With this pomade it holds its soft and manageable 👍🏼

Please help me understand the difference between the white pomade and the clear dark brown pomade. I had a bunch of suavecito from 2019 and I finally ran out. I liked the clear matte pomade original hold, but the 2021 line is confusing.
If you need a really strong hold, this pomade may not do it for you on it's own. You can, however, use this in conjunction with our Firme Hold Pomade to add texture and dull out any gloss the Firme might leave behind. Try applying the Firme as the base and then the matte pomade as a top coat.

Dan Sheridan oh cool. i have an undercut and its very long, goes down to my chin, so i want a pomade that holds my hair all day. also, does it dry out your hair really badly? ive heard this pomade drys out your hair or the orginal pomade at least.
The main differences are that the matte pomade is a lighter hold than the original pomade and it gives your hair a matte look. The smell is the same signature Suavecito scent and the color goes in white but dries clear.
All of these fuck boys stole this look from the marines and army grunts. We had strict guidelines when it came to haircuts so the low fade with medium length hair allowed us to have some hair while keeping the hair off of our ears for work.
Suavecito is garbage. You could call anything "overpriced" compared to that sally's/prison pomade in a bucket. Layrite is the best traditional waterbased line of pomades and every one of their products performs excellent in what they are supposed to do. They are well priced, and well worth it. The vanilla is very subtle and masculine; at best unisex. And the Original is the only one that has a detectable scent that lasts. Even still there is nothing feminine about it.

Pomade with alcohol can dry out your hair, but Suavecito doesn't have an alcohol.
