I have a 2017 KIA SORENTO, my two daughters each have a 2019 HYUNDAI HIGHLANDER and 2018 HYUNDAI HIGHLANDER . They have not let us down. All three are the DIESEL variants. At one stage, one daughter had a 2017 RANGE ROVER and the other a VOLVO XC 90. Reliability and maintenance costs became an issue so the opted for the HYUNDAI. I went for the SORENTO purely based on research, talking to owners and my local mechanic. My wife had an old TOYOTA RAV 4 and loved it. All horses for courses.
@@SUVReviewed-24 Always horses for courses. Car makers have good and bad vehicles in their lineup. No one car maker has the best line-up, they generally have some good and some bad products.
The head gaskets blow at 60,000 miles. If you plan to trade in before that fine otherwise forget it. Those boxer engines aren't so great. the new ones also seem to have a lot of electrical issues.
