My husband loved the video. He's going to do our counters tomorrow.
awe come on, "disk one"?! what grit my man!
Nice video!! Good way to show people how it really is done!!
I'm renting a floor buffer today to use the 17" pads to do my bathroom marble floor. I also purchased the 5' pads kit, plus 2 green 7' pads for touch up on occasions. Let you know if it worked .
How did it go
What you showed is almost exactly what I have as a few streaks in my marble shower stall (they have been there before we even moved in). I can certainly try your approach, but as a "quicker" fix, what about using an etch remover product (I see Lustro Italiano Etch Remover pops up on youtube) that you just apply and rub in, would that accomplish the same thing or are there disadvantages to that approach?? Thanks
Tell Arnold hi from me here in Minnesota. I got opportunity to spend some time with him in Atlanta this spring and at Harvard Chemical. Great guy!
I sure will :)
Unfortunately in the start of the video, you didn’t show , what etching, or scratches, or generally what the tile looked like. What grit level was number One pad?
"is this better that the makita makita becasue it dosen't spin fast" ohh common man makita drills have a variable speed trigger, i've been there for a while...
Hi, your thoughts please I have some small tiles in green marble and would like to polish them In Vietnam not easy to get all the products you have in the USA. Can I polish with granite cleaner and what polisher would be good, what about the vertical Bosch GPO 950 machine or the DCA Asp04-180 or the vertical DCA Asa 150, DCA are Chinese products. I have no experience in polishing tiles. Thank you in advance for a reply.
Hello friends great video…. Which is the brand of that pad and how can I find it or buy it… looks interesting. I hope you could answer me… please…..

Looks a great job ,would you use the same discs on a softer stone
watching somebody sand without knowing the pads being used or the polishing substance is literally no help at all.
Yeah if they give up the grit then that'll give you the option to purchase something other than their product.I agree with you but from a business aspect i understand.
Same as polishing glass. You can do 3-step 200/400-1000-3000 (must use polishing compound on last step/wet)
watch for fun
Our discs are Diamond Impregnated, and their grit is not a simple 200, 300 ect. They are our own design and there for they are 237, 389, 1296 ect.
This kit is numbered, 1-4 + a polishing pad. We also are using no polishing substance here, water is the only compound you need to restore your counter tops, vanity's, or tables with our product.
@@1diggitech The grit numbers would not even be accurate if you purchased another product as ours are not simply 200, 300 and so on. There really is no specific reason we did not disclose the grits with in the video other then they are not relevant to the kits use.
What grit? What kind of polishing pads? Dude?
Nice job everyone needs
Nice , using a piece of white stone, how about getting the shine back on a piece of Nero Marquina.
He's using Bon Magic Renova 5" Drill Kit
So i have some mosaic natural stone tiles that i goruted with black grout and didnt clean the grout off fast enough. now it has stained the face of the tile will this help remove the staines? and what will this do to the grout lines
Grits recommended for staged marble polishing: 400, 500, 600, 1000 respectively. Go slow on revolutions, clean the previous layer each time.
Kenty Power Station will this work on terrazzo floors as well?
It depends on the binder and also, due to randomness of the materials in terazzo’s, it could take more time for the effect. Resin binders are very sensitive to overheating and may melt.
Great. If the marble is acceptable and I need to make it shiny by myself with your products,
Can I use the pads from 1- 4 without any machine? My house is small.
We do have a manual kit that you can purchase as well. www.cleancenter.com
Does it still need to be sealed? So the stain would not repeat?
We always recommend an impregnated sealer to help prevent stains however keep in mind sealer will not prevent etching or scratching. We have many sealer options on our site, www.cleancenter.com
Great video
Good video, but you miss the upper corners.
Are the pads you are using a grit sandpaper? What is the grit? I have a raw marble slab with rough edges that I need to polish and restore
200, 400, 800, 1500. Burnish with 1500 or 3000 grit pad.
They are our own design and are 237, 389, 1296 and so on they are not an exact 200 , 400 ect
.
This kit is numbered, 1-4 + a polishing pad. We also are using no polishing substance here, water is the only compound you need to restore your counter tops, vanity's, or tables with our product.
cleancentercap lmao I love capitalism. Thanks for sharing though
@@jmquez The point of the kit is that you don't have to know such things to use it. The pads are numbered. Most people think they know a lot more than they do. Use the 1, then the 2, then the 3 etc and then the green and you're done. Got it?
Good job sir
Can this work on Corian counter tops?
How about a entire floor do you have them 17 inch pads
Yed
Can we skip to the last pad if we want to just polish the counter top?
Yes
What grit and is a wet dry pad
I have restored a piece of antique marble using your process, up to 3000 grit. it is smooth as glass, but has a matte appearance. Should I use a marble cleaner, then sealer, then polish, or skip the cleaner and just go with sealer and polish? Thanks
Interesting, please shoot me an email info@cleancenter.com. I would need to see a photo to give any accurate advice on the subject.
Did you use any special chemical or was that all just water?
All water! The Bonastre system runs with just water and the discs.
Yo where can I get that drill pad attachment
What about the corners?
Where can I order the pads and drill bit
I have a marble dining room table that has the coating chipping. Will this kit work to restore it?
You would need additional pads to do a table, they seem to be only 300, 400
@@MrJ6789 ok thank you!
I dont get it! Where is your website where I can buy this?
Where do I buy this kit ,do I need to seel it after where is this company located ???
Clean center out in Peoria az
www.cleancenter.com/
If I wanted a honed finish would I stop at step 2?
He didn't ever touch the corners, I wonder if there was some reason.
They aren't explaining the grit being used because they want you to buy the kit.
it's generally 40, 120, 300, 800, 1800, 3000, it's something like that
Red is 500 grit
The higher the grit. The more polish. Use rough grit to even up only. Higher for minor damage
@@anthonygarcia5746 what if a haze /slightly less reflective area is left behind from use of diamond pads ?
@@chrisleggett7877 use your hand and whatever is left of the diamond pad. Thats what makes a job look good. There will be dents and deep holes on any type of wood work. Nothing is perfect.
Hi - I need to restore 10 yr old honed absolute black granite counters with some etching - do you have restoration kits for honed counters ? Thanks
Yes there you can order on line link to the shop in the description
do you have to use the acid to get the same results? what will the acid do to grout?
Michael R the acid was to deliberately damage the tile. The polishing was done to repair that damage
The #1 pad took the polish off.
Acid for demonstrating purposes only.
🤦🎉😁
What do you recommend for honing limestone?
same process, marble and limestone are cousins. If you have a floor you'd definitely want a floor machine though unless you were just removing etching in 1 small spill spot.
what revolution rpm should you use for polishing? with these discs?
This is a proprietary kit. He’s probably staying with 150 grit and working up to 3000 or 5000.
Some people use different discs, with different numbers, like start with 800 and then 1500 etc.
Correct. Our polishing system uses its own proprietary grit numbers. It is why they are not mentioned in the video, it is not relevant for the use of our system.
Is this the same process for all natural stone?
What is the cost of machine and rubbing pads
Were can class marble training on floors
In Massachusetts
We bought a 21 year old house that had a DIY marble ( at least that's what I think it is ) tile floor throughout the entire first floor! It looks extremely amateur and to replace it would be astronomical; I just really want to shine it back up like I see in low traffic areas, but I am really nervous about renting a huge machine and want to start out small, square foot by square foot. I found some remanent of the tile in the basement and will post some pictures. Could you please tell me if I indeed have marble floors, and what hand sander and kit would you recommend?
I would recommend having a stone company look at it to grind and polish it for you. It’s not cheap but considering the alternative it’s well worth it.
Wtf! I can't hear him talking over the sanding. And like everybody else has said, you should explain what type of sandpaper your using.
He did explain! This is the Bonastre kit which comes with their numbered papers. What else do you want him to say?
@@bluekrait6612 the grit maybe?
@@yahairabarron2748 why and how? He is explaining the Bonastre kit. The Bonastre Kit labels their disks by numbers 1 through 4. Bonastre brand manufacturers their own disks. So they might make some grits out of the ordinary like a 237 grit or a 1385 grit! You don't find those in your trusty local hardware store.
yes You ahve to put CC on as many youtube vids. They weren't too smart to do it this way of course. Break it down by a title as you go thru would've been good.
I want to purchase the machine for marble polishing. Can you please tell me from where i can brought it.......I am from india
where can I bye the kit and how much
Links are in Description but here is the website

Do you have any products to leather a marble countertop?
I don’t think I understand the question can you explain what you mean ?
I am not 100% what you are asking. Can you clarify just a bit?
A "Leathered" countertop is in between matte and polished. It also leaves dips and dents in the countertop on purpose for the look.
do you put a seal on it after the polishing
Yes, you could seal the surface. If you have any questions feel free to email us info@cleancenter.com
Hi, will your process/kit work on a terrazo bath tub?
Great video. Where would I be able to purchase that kit?
www.cleancenter.com/
if you haven't purchased the kick yet all you need is a variable speed palm sander and the sanding discs that you can get from an auto supply paint shop
@@HomeImProveMentHow You COULD use those discs, however they were not designed for marble and will not give you the same results.
Great Sound! What Microphone are you using?
Ye polish material kaha milega
appreciate the attempt, but the audio is very bad, don't know what items he is using or what he was spraying. I had to read thru the comments to see that he is using ur own proprietary grits and water
Polishing Quartz is a No No... It never be the same
Plus, using hand machine leaves marks,
Thats why CNC and Polishing Machines are the best
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼
What drill attachment is that? I couldn't find it on the website.
All you need is a variable speed palm sander diamond polishing pad, or go to the auto body supply and get a short moment of sandpaper from 400 to 800 , 1000, 1500 to 3000.
I have a few video showing you how to polish I hope to hear from you stay safe during this coronavirus
I am interested in buying your polishing kit. Do you have a website for me to go to to order it?
www.cleancenter.com/
What size grit is the sandpaper on this kit?
They are our own design and are 237, 389, 1296 and so on they are not an exact 200 , 400 ect
.
This kit is numbered, 1-4 + a polishing pad. We also are using no polishing substance here, water is the only compound you need to restore your counter tops, vanity's, or tables with our product.
where can i find the flexible pad?
and what exactly is called
www.cleancenter.com/
Google diamond polishing pad s
Are you need is a variable speed pump and air and water
*what i would like to know what material that red stuff on that dill is made of*
Most probably wet sand paper 2000 grit. But I looking for confirmation.
@@mutiur7396 it may be a Viber pad.
I have the videos showing you and telling you, what I'm using on marble
@@mutiur7396 I tried doing the same thing with sand paper on terrazzo and it didn't do anything... you'd normally need a diamond pad for the job
I have honed carrera marble. If I use this process, which pads do I use to keep it looking honed not polished?
I have the same question! Want to re-hone my counters.Hopefully they answer
This is a polishing kit, not a honing kit. There isn't going be a right answer to your question, there are just too many variables involved. It really depends on the current finish you have that you're trying to reproduce. If the total marbled area isn't all that large you're probably better off just finding the grit that produces the honed finish you're looking for and refinish it all together so you don't have to worry about blending any areas together.
What would happen if you just started with the number 3 pad?
I need to do this to 26 00 sf What do you recommend
Sorry for the late response but 2600 sq feet sounds like a large floor job if that’s the case use the floor pads for the same procedure but if there countertops you just have to work through it with the pads in this video
8f you haven't purchased this Setup, Àll you need is a variable speed palm sander,, and a sortmeñtvo of Sand Paper 320, 600, 800, 1500 3000
Or diamond polishing pads

Sorry to ask but who is stupid enough to get marble kitchen countertops? As soon as you fix it the next day it will be the same 🤣🤣
The slab is uneven now
Just use shims
That slab is a test slab and was not even to start. It has been etched, polished ect probably well over 300x by now.
No link below video, plus company makes no comments to peoples genuine questions!!!! Shame
So much for social media being Social?
It would be no different than Coca-Cola ignoring everyone asking “how do I make”
All the comments are the same...”what grit?”
Why would they tell you? This is a demo for a product they are selling!
What questions do you have? There is a link to our website posted above and in many comments.
@@mikeo6525 It actually has nothing to do with that, the grit's simply aren't relevant to the kits use so it was not included in the video. You can not go an buy another sand paper disc that is the same grit as ours. We do not have a standard 200, 400 ect grit system its what makes ours unique :)
@@cleancentercap Really!!!! I still can not see the link to a www.website ?
The audio is bad. I had trouble understanding what the guy was saying he has a heavy accent and then while the polisher is on they start talking and forget understanding anything at that point. Had potential but useless without clear explanations.
we have a few other videos explaining the entire process as well! Feel free to check them out on our channel!
Who is stupid enough to have marble on kitchen countertops? Who would put marble on the floor specially in the kitchen?
The dumb people with the money, that can afford to pay the price's of this material..Marble high cost maintenance and have watch you put on top.... not worth the money or the trouble.
Lots of ppl do in Arizona
Those stupid people who has marble in the kitchens keep us in business tho ;-)just saying I'm not against anybody
People who aren't broke asses like you.
I have marble in my bathroom. No issues in 10 years :)
Non si fa prima con il flex ,
I profili della lastra non sono venuti bene
It would be nice if you gave us the GRIT # of each stage. Is it a national secret? WTF? I won't buy your product now.
The grit is not really relevant in terms of this video as our grit numbers are different of those you could find at your local hardware store. They are our own design and are 237, 389, 1296 and so on they are not an exact 200 , 400 ect
.
Eh.... You have made ...better videos
Useless thanks
Sorry you feel that way! Is there any information we can provide to help?
