They are trying to avoid showing it with camera movement, but you can clearly see the spot after all the polishing. Their mistake was to focus of such a small area as there is no way to feather the repair when it's done this way. For this to work, the resurfacing area must be 10 times larger than actual repair area so as to make the transition seamless.

How do you know if you have a quartz countertop, if you move into a house that has some sort of marble looking countertop in the kitchen?

Works in light colors but in darks colors the scratch disappears if you are in the front of it, if you see from the side you can see the reflection of the area where you worked.
***** the wool pad generates a lot of heat, be careful of burning the area. ******

I don’t like the final results. I’d rather live with the scratches until it’s justified to replace the segment.

I wish the results looks correct, hard to see on the video, but I don't think he fix this correctly, quartz is the most difficult to match factory polish, if you find the right angle were is the natural light you will see the area got treated, I fixed some in the past using deferent ways, but not perfect.
Anyway thanks for sharing this video, I just want to learn more how to fix this problem.

Quartz is one of the most difficult to match the factory polish, but it's not impossible. We offer this cream system as well as the WAVE Quartz polishing pads and you truly can't tell the difference. Check out this link for more pictures using the WAVE pads instagram.com/p/CwiQLIERFY-/?

As your great leader would say: FAKE NEWS! There is still a patch there. If these guys were serious they would show that top with bright light coming from behind, like a window or doorway with plenty of light.
Then I checked their website and saw their impregnating sealer with a 25 year warranty. Hello, these guys are in the wrong business, they should be selling used cars.

Sub contractors broke our blue pearl top then broke the replacement before it got here. Then the granite guy after. Ring rejected by myself sold my wife a new stone for the other counter. Idiot resealed it twice and looks worse each time. I’m so kissed off I may come out of retirement and start this new business to compete directly with him.

Never surface polish an engineered stone! The amount of time these pieces spend being polished during fabrication is long and precise. To think you are going to achieve this by hand with a variable speed grinder in 20 mins is laughable. Looking straight down onto the repaired area may look okay. The second you catch it in the light from a window , it’s clear as day. Better off just filling with glue or epoxy to make the scratch less noticeable.

The Quartz Polishing Creams in this kit do a marvelous job at restoring the texture & shine on Quartz after grinding down the surface with ceramic pads. Have you tried this system before?
