Nice, try and get the models 2011 to 2014, I must tell you the 2008-2014 Isf will soon be gems, being that they are the first N/a powered v-8 at 416bhp, moded can go more than 500bhp . Lexus went with the GSF which is bigger and a whole lot heavier, still with 467bhp it could kick a bit, now Lexus is developing the LCF which I believe could be a good rival for Porsche , and other cars in its segment. I've read on magazine X that Lexus will be bringing back the ISF but it would be powered with a twin turbo v6. Which we all know will burn lots of oil, and would be swallowing gas like there's no tomorrow if your one to push the pedal to the metal constantly. Since I driven my ISF l love the sound and feel of its V8 , I don't care much about power and speed , but when I need it I'll use it win or lose I'm good. I've raced WRX , BRz/86 , evolution, M5 , stang GT and a challenger RT , yes I beat them, all in the name of who can prove who's car is faster..lol I believe it's more on the driver then the car..lol.
The hellcats, trail hawk, CTS-V and GTR
Are forced inducted with superchargers and turbo chargers. Delete that and those. become N/a ,then I'll race it. Other then that, I ain't going to waste gas already knowing they have the advantage. but still if push comes to shove I'll go for broke...lol... cheers! 🙂👍

I would say a Lexus is better quality than a Toyota Corolla but not necessarily more "reliable"
Josh River studies says otherwise lexus was the top of the list among reliable car brands which they beat out their parent company toyota for the number one spot toyota came in at number two.

The only reason I commented was because you specifically replied to say that "quality is included in reliability".
While there is certainly a correlation, quality is not all encompassing of reliability. If this was true then there would not need to be 2 different categories by which to evaluate a cars worthiness.
I used Lexus/Toyota as an example because they are not wholly competing entities, but are sourced from the same point.
A Rolls Royce could be considered very high quality but very unreliable.
A Lada could be considered very poor quality but very reliable.
I'm a long time Lexus fan/owner.
My choice in that comes down to the fact that it's the best balance of those two categories for the price point I can justify based on my income level. However "quality" does not *necessarily* include "reliability"
These are so sick..: why Lexus stopped making this model blows my mind... this is a true 4 door sports car. V8 RWD over 400 hp and Toyota reliability. That’s why they are still $28k for a good one

Instead of taking it apart, replace it, there's aftermarket and oem headlights you can get on ebay or amazon..

My freind owns a garage to fix cars, we take it as hobby to pick up IS300 from diff places around China and sell to whoever want it. Its really funny, will stay tuned your channel. keep it up.
The digitizer going bad is why I like having knobs and buttons at least as a backup for touchscreens

The water inside headlights and not being able to touch screen tells me it’s been in a flood.
definitely not in a flood or else the auction and Carfax would announce it. water in the headlight was due to a housing leak issue and the touch screen is a common issue with these cars called the digitizer.

Ali I fixed it by changing the digitizer, order one off eBay for $20. Just takes some time taking everything apart.

I don't understand why buy a Car and then resale it , what's the point of owning. I'm in the owning business I don't over purchase a Car, if I need and like a Car I will keep it for years unless it's costing me money repairing it. I just purchased a real nice 2007 is250 with 139,500 it sold for $7,290.00. I added my touches too it, when people see it they're thinking it's a Newer Car. My Interior/Exterior gotta be on point for me too even look at it. An I don't purchase cars just because they're fast and too Race them. I make these Cars look good and highly maintained with sharpness. No Offense too anyone!

What license did you get retail or wholesale ? Because in order to get a retail you must have a dealer or similar at least 4 designated parking plus show room to register and approval by the DMV . Wholesale account you will spend the money for load of fees transferring ... I was just wondering how you go about this route.

@@AnontheGOAT yes this was the only ISF, but they still make IS F models which is what I was referring to. They also now have the IS500 F which is essentially the same idea as this gen. So again, this gen imo is the best.

@@ANDERZENAMG incorrect. They’ve always had F sport. It’s just a package. F cars are F cars. F sport is F sport. IS 500 is not an IS F. It’s an F Performance - which is in between F Sport and F. All they did was throw in the V8 and adaptive dampers and retuned the tranny. It’s not an F car from the ground up like the IS F, RC F or GS F.

most with that screen has a secret diag mode (i think ) ya hold the 4 corners of the screen down for 3 secs and it will come up but if ya screen if faulty its tricky there are many button combinations in that car that does stuff thats hidden

Just realized since your navigation doesn’t work properly and the headlights have moisture, that the car could’ve been flood damaged
Nonamus Gaming Navigation screen was eventually fixed, digitizer screen costed me $20 and a few hours to take apart to replace it. Headlight seats on the Lexus IS are notorious to leak.

@@lifeisgood9474these things go on for 300k miles if you keep with maintenance. The high mileage is a scary thought for any other car but the Toyota brand these things go on forever. Plus, this is a super car. Put another grand on it for a supercharger and it becomes a 700hp beast. So 15 k is a great deal for this actually. It’s a horrid deal for anything else with high mileage.
