- In this video, ill be showing you guys my next project, my 2nd Lexus ISF!! It has been an exciting adventure on the V8 realm. so much that I had to buy another one... LOL I also picked up 3 other regular family cars to flip. 2007 Lexus RX350, 2007 Lexus RX350, 2013 Toyota Corolla, and 2008 Lexus ISF.

On the White ISF, probably an 02 conditioner cable or A/F ratio sensor.............................OR if the factory headers are cracking. Why not carry an OBD reader with you. Even with aftermarket, you can still fix it and sell it, no need to put it back to stock right off the bat.
I would go for the 2011 white car, refreshed interior design, newer suspension design, torsen LSD, different LED's. Good luck.

I used the obd scanner on my body at the auction, plenty of fault codes. That white isf looks like a basketcase. Garbaggio

The white Lexus had a misfire on one of the cylinders because when you weren’t using the engine the check light didn’t blink but when u pressed the gas it blinked and it won’t have a quick response and it will vibrate alot
if the bettery key fob is dead you can still start the car by holding the key fob right up to the start button and hit the start button, uses RFID to read it.
I learned this the hard way, watch out for haters and buyers your competing with, they will scratch your shit, take off wires cables, fuses anything they can do for no one else to

Bring a Bluetooth OBD connector when you go to the auction so you can check codes on your phone. This way you know at least what your getting into. A check engine light could be something as small as a vacuum leak up to something serious like a bad trans (internal solenoid failure)
You can get a toyota techstream for $20 bucks, use with a cheap laptop.
@@alb12345672 I can get it for free, I'm a master tech for Toyota. I suggested Bluetooth to your phone so you don't make it obvious by carrying a laptop and dongle to scan the cars.
That White ISF is from my dealership, Tustin Lexus we sent it to auction it has some issues we couldn't sell it
what issues did it have? I was 50/50 on that one or this gray one that I currently have. I know the dealership that has it on their lot as of now.
@@LocalBMXERS As far as I know in it's current state we couldn't get it to pass smog. Most likely due to headers or some other issues. Didn't look into it too much but there was little profit to be made on it

ISF brake switch bad crazy brake switch won't let it do nothing when it's bad same problem on a 07 Avalon Limited I had to get it dragged out a drive-thru restaurant

You should always carry a portable battery jumper to these auto auctions.
Why do these cars have plates on them ?
They are most likely trade in cars that dealers couldn't sell/ or had issues with
Vsc comes on automatically on toyotas when the check engine light comes on... if ya didnt already know..

When you inspect the cars, are you allowed to hook up a code reader to give you a better idea of why the check engine light is on?

I have a 2014 is 350. If it wasn't for the shit suspension it would be the best daily driver I have ever had. I have had like 40 plus cars. Its reliable, peppy, and comfortable but the suspension is shit.

The guy that bought the white ISF put it in his dealership, it's being sold for $16k. As I tried to apply for it he said it was sold, still it's on his website.

may i suggest anyone who is going to look at used cars, to buy|bring a portable OBDII. i use an android compatible plugNplay OBDII. allows you to easily chheck codes and clear them(for fresh codes). mine was around $25

How can you get ur dealers license I have my neighbor who has a dealer license he says it will be impossible for me to get one he also wants to charge me 150 just for him to bid on a car. I know I can get a one at copart but I’m really interested in a dealer license tho
Thats a good deal for him to take you to auction. I paid my mechanic 400 dollars back in 2000 to go to the dealers auction in NJ.
