Those ‘heroes’ had already delivered and off loaded their aid and had no good reason to be in that land convoy. Gaza is full of drivers who would have been more than willing and able drive those trucks. Having delivered their aid, those ex soldiers should have prioritised their duty to their families, to make sure their kids grew up with a dad.
