The issue is on manual transmissions only …. so not as bad, although still not good. Ford has immediately begun fixing the issue (including Ford purchased the cars that caught on fire from the owners and paid for any mods installed and taxes paid as well) and Ford sent letters & emails to all affected purchasers, which is also good. It sucks this happened, but big kudos to Ford for handling it the way they are.

I purchased a brand new S550 GT premium with the performance pkg. I hate it. Dont get excited, Mopar and GM products are even worse

@tlitesworld Sorry, I've driven many BMW models. Absolute garbage, unfortunately. I'm going Lexus, Acura or at least Toyota, Honda products (same difference i know) from now on. No such thing as automotive perfection but these are the only brands that at least attempt to build quality today in my opinion.
