I sold my 1930 Model A coupe (formerly a Harrah’s Casino show car) at Pomona meet. On my way to new owner’s house the condenser went out. The system is so simple, the problem was confounding and the repair was cake - finding a condenser for it was treachery to my soul - a weekend - late in the day.
Nice sounding engine. I would have been on my knees locking for leaks. I think once you start swapping electrical components you may as well go the hole hog. Enjoyed and a good result in the end. Cheers take care.
Agreed! I being a DA and thinking it would start right up because it was in a restored F1... But the proof was it really needed all those parts, shortly after we videoed it running I ordered new plug wires that night! LOL!!
That is a great truck. looking forward to the progress of it!
Thanks man!! I'll keep updating!
Just discovered your channel! This one got me pumped that panel is so cool! Looking forward to watching this build. Take it easy dude!
Thanks man!!! Glad to have you! Thanks for watching!
You got there in the end ,frustrating at times lol, good job 🇦🇺🦘
Thanks Gino! I think sometimes working with yourself you get kind of so focus you don't think about other options. At least I do! LOL!
A small detail but those are cool battery cable ends. I love panel trucks, sounds good
Thank you!! I like the details when building a old car, most people don't see them or notice but I do! LOL!

It's always something small! LOL!

I've been using 12v coils from Napa with an internal resistor. Less connections equals less failure points imo.
That's probably what I'll be doing next go around! Thanks for watching!
Very cool car. Nice patina
thank you!! I can't wait to go cruising!!
In my experience flathead fuel pumps don't love to prime easy also, on my 36 I have a electric pump to prime the mechanical pump then I shut it off
Yea it helped when I added the small take to gravity feed into it!
Where did you get the gas tank for that truck? I have one of those trucks. I'm looking for a gas tank. Thank you very much.
Bob Drake has them, it's the Vicky/Pickup tank 33-37. Goodluck!
Did we ever file the points?
Yes... Used sand paper... if you watched the whole video you would see that I explained it was the coil plug wire at the end.
👌💪💪
Gettin closer!!
When you don't have spark on a points vehicle it's dirty points 90% of the time
It happened to be a coil wire, if you didn't watch the whole video.
Is everything earthed
Did you watch the rest of the video? LOL!
Collecting dead coils 😂
LOL! Nope! Dead coil wires!
