Suggestion on revealing the old signage. First, there ain’t nuthin wrong with how it looks now! But I would be curious about the old advertising, too. Try using a “safe stripper”, one of the citrus based ones. I’ve had great luck with these because they work slowly, much less aggressive than solvent based strippers. This gives some control as you work through the layers. Maybe try a test panel, with a fine scotch brite pad to blend the paint layers. Great project, and great channel.
Love it....if you don't love the original lettering.... I wonder what your channel logo and lettering would look like (font/style) if it was around in the 30's???? Could be cool.
I've thought of that, I like it with the black so much if I reveal the lettering and I don't like it there's not turning back. So I'm unsure if I want to do it just yet lol!
Man im a huge fan, love what your doing!! Id love to see a video on how you done the bracket for the master cylinder with original pedals. Im building a traditional 34 ford pickup flathead 36 trans.. i love the panel its a beauty!!!
Thanks man... It's just a piece of 3" x 3" angle iron .25" thickness... it mounts across the underneath trans X and the master cylinder mounts directly behind the brake actuator... The pedal pulls the brake actuator and then the brake actuator pushes the master. Very simple. Another option is @Dennis_lacy_earlyV8garage on instagram sells a kit that works great!
@chaddilacdesigns Thank you man!! I will def do that that's a great idea. Man I look forward to your upcoming videos keep up the great work an hopefully get to see the 34 someday at a show if your ever close to KY
Very nice work.
Thanks for watching!

Nice truck!!! I had an original '34 deluxe panel, which was my dream until the body shop turned it into a nightmare. I regret selling it now.
What did the deluxe panel have different? I didn't know they made them.

I vote to leave it. It should look great once you get the fenders painted.
