This instantly brought back what Shadowbringers felt like playing through it the first time, all the pain mixed in with the hype. This is wonderfully made, I love your editing and am glad you used scenes from throughout the entirety of the game. I can feel the journey the WoL's been on.
The sound balancing and how you weaved in the audio from the voice lines into the music is fantastic, you did an amazing job at this it perfectly captured the emotions from all of these scenes, super keen to see more in the future.
Oh man this is rife with emotions but the scene of Ardbert going back to his friends in the Crystarium cutting to us returning is always a scene that makes me CHOKE. Amazingly put together!
The amount of memories that brought back. I’m crying, I’m so scared but also SOO curious what’ll happen in Endwalker. It has been such a great journey, I’ve never played a game with a better storyline, I feel such a connection with our friends in the game. Everything that has happened got such a great impact on the entire game. It’s honestly insane. I started playing FFXIV exactly a year ago and I never had a dry eye at the end of every expansion. It’s insane how much this storyline has impacted me.
I wasn't expecting "this". I wasn't. Now.... the pain of loss and the joy of love come flooding back like the flood of light on the 1st, and the tears stream down like a raging waterfall. From Darren Silver'viel'de of Sargatanas and a lieutenant of the Knights of Scion, great job. Amazing editing and showing the emotional rollercoaster that is FFXIV. This is one cat who is liking and subbing, and yes.... sobbing. Thank you for this.
I honestly cannot get over how beautifully done this is. The music is such an excellent choice, the way each scene aligns with it and the overall organization is so thoughtful and poignant, the insertion of the voiced lines makes it more powerful-- it all feels like an epic movie trailer and I was in my feelings all the way through. Excellent job.

I never got to finish the game money be came tight and I never had the chance to tell my friends on the game bye ... and this makes me realize I miss them and wish I could have said bye .... now I'm sure they probably don't like me anymore.... after just dissapering... and this made me cry but I thank you for making it I love it so much and its brought back happy memories!

I can't say how much I adore how well you balanced all the characters- people so often ignore moenbryda, but where she was in the story and how it struck me was very impactful for me when I first played. Now, in endwalker, even more so.
Please continue making these wonderful videos, I've only played FFXIV for a few months now but seeing your videos brings back all the things I've done with my character on this adventure.whenever I look back and wonder why I still play this game I'll always think of your videos!

just finished base endwalker and oh my what a game, definitely my favorite story I've ever played, every character just played their part so good. wish I could experience it all over again for the first time

I wasn't negative, I just didn't see how something that in it's original form was so removed from drama could work. However, this video is fucking immaculate. Your editing, timing, audio balancing, everything was perfect, and I say this in all sincerity, I get chills part way in when the music swells with the visuals. You did absolutely incredibly and should be very proud! EDIT: Oh woops I edited to fix a typing mistake and it removed the little heart from my comment, well thank you, and I'm happy you got to see this!

Watched this before finishing Heavensward. Hadn’t heard many of the lines. As I come back to this through my journey, each time becomes more heartbreaking than the last as I start to get more and more context. By the end of my journey through Shadowbringers, this might make this hurt all the more. Well done.

it's ben a fantastic journey, i've played FF XIV for 11 years since the release of ARR started my main character on day 4 of 2.0 but i just ran the benchmark for Dawntrail and i don't meet the system requirements so i guess it's being decided for me and it's time to hang up my sword as the Warrior of Light
If I may give a suggestion for your future similar FFXIV AMVs : Make your WoL wear a different glamour for each expansion. It will show a progression in your character.

I want to slap myself for saying something this pretentious, but...far as I'm concerned, this is a masterpiece. Came here after watching "Running up that hill" and lowered my expectations...since clearly something that amazing was partly a fluke. Nope. You're just really good at making these. The ONLY problem, is that people who haven't played FF14 can't fully enjoy it (or enjoy it at all if they don't want to spoil themselves.) Freaking amazing.
