Overall very well done, this video is going to be a great resource for experienced corn snake keepers (such as myself) and novice keepers alike! Awesome job!👍🏻🐍

I can get a permit for Aussie species and you can get exotic birds but not mammals or reptiles. Except axolotls
Edit you can get marsupials with a license and without a license you can get deer, game birds, some native reptiles and birds, exotic birds and exotic fish. (Exotic being non native.)
Ps this only applies to the state of Victoria where i live, other states have different laws but only native reptiles can be kept Australia wide.

This was a way better video than what I have been searching up for hours on Corn snake care. I've always wanted a Corn snake and this video helped me so much with what I need to know before I get one.

The one thing that really stands out about you is that you went to the habitat. I haven’t seen that yet. Amazing. I really appreciate this attention to detail, as it helps me build an appropriate enclosure for the animal. Subbed, proudly.

Wow this is so thorough! Almost all of my questions were answered. But I do a follow up. Would you recommend making a humidity box? And how often do they shed?

Thank you so much. I did most of my research by your videos and a few other TH-camrs, and after around a week of convincing, my parents are finally letting me get a corn snake. In the past I tried getting a ball python but they never let me. I'm glad I'm getting a corn snake instead because they're generally cheaper to take care of, and a lot less picky and more nice.
    Thanks!

You are awesome. Thank you so much for admitting that there is no perfect way to do this. I hate it when people say that my way is perfect and everyone else’s is wrong. I find it to be incredibly arrogant and failing to see that there are different ways to achieve the goal. Love your channel!

Hi there buddy and thanks for your great video. I bought my first ever snake about 5 weeks ago, a 2 year old male sun-kissed (I think) corn. I named him Syd Vicious, he's not at all vicious but he's definitely a Syd. He had me worried for a bit because he wouldn't come out of his hide until I found his shed whole skin in the vivarium. Now he's out and about more and a lot prettier. He gobbles his adult thawed mice down great and provides his smelly thing usually in the same spot. These are truly great snakes. You're doing well for someone of your young age so, keep it up buddy. Well done. Subscribed and liked. John isle of Wight, U.K.
