I love the hall and think it sounds much better than the other halls I hear typically. The spring I do not like from what I heard here. I'll just stick with my 66 fender reverb unit for that. I have a strymon blue sky and love the sounds it has but this one seems more diverse with it's sound selector in the center there. I also use the walrus audio slo and have it running into the blue sky and sounds amazing but am always looking for other options. Thanks for the review 🤙🏽
@@blaymight I haven't got the slo but I recommend the Immerse..I play ambient bass mostly and it's amazing for dynamic huge lush soundscapes and it's stereo too unlike the slo...
Very nice video Antoine. That first section in the demo is quite beautiful in particular. All very nice. And the pedal sounds amazing. I wonder if it beats plugin reverbs (which I have tried many, many of). Slate Digital Verbsuite classics, Waves, the Soundtoys ones...
There is actually a Neunaber reverb plugin that sounds fantastic! One of the best! You can watch my demo here: th-cam.com/video/CwOjBDQXYXA/w-d-xo.html
I feel like its about budget and footprint here, Immerse mk2 and big sky both sound as a Hollywood pedal you would use in a Grammy award album, it's all about if you wana spend 200$ or 400$ and if you have space to fit a bigsky and time to dial all those knobs, neunaner is way more practical for my taste
I even sold my BigSky after trying Immerse v2, its just a matter of the music that you play, and the fact that BigSky doesn't allow you to stack the three reverbs at the same time, just one, so I rather have three different pedals so i can combine them if I want (Walrus Slo, EQD Ghost Echo, Neunaber Immerse v2)
i was going to get the source audio ventris or blue sky . . even also the saraphim . . but the resonance! and overtones! and "after rsonance" . . the sustain! detune! . . hall! shimmer! . . immerse mk ii for me! . . can i only get it at the website?
Owning both, I say go with the Neunaber. A lot more reverb types and flexibility, awesome algorithms for the price! And if ever you want more, then you can look at the Strymon Big Sky.
Hi thanks for the video I wanted to ask if you can sing with microphone schure dynamic supercardiode with canon attack is not Jack attack, if you can explain me how? Thanks
I have the Fathom. Fathom is more practical for me because of the second switch, for sustain. Sonically, Fathom can compete with Immerse MKII but the latter is more versatile. So, just get both if money is not an issue.
For Metal AND Ambient?I guess it depends on what kind of Metal, but I'd be thinking more analog delay for that. For Ambient, Neunaber is always gonna be the thing.Hands down . The O11 has some decent analog delay sims, and would be more applicable to duo purpose, but the lmmerse's sound quality/ fidelity is in a whole different category. In my opinion, such fidelity rarely benefits Rock or Metal. But I like my Rock to do just that, and my Ambient to do just the opposite.(Analog verbs &/or delays are cheap,-get both)Good luck.
I find it way deeper for ambient tones than the HOF. If you want basic reverb tones like a spring or room setting, the HOF would be better, but for ethereal and deep ambient guitar reverb tones, the Neunaber is unbeatable in my opinion!
Beautiful sound, great démo, thanks ! ...something about the recording protocol (Preamps, DI , microphones, sound card/converter ? ...because the recording is very pure !
This pedal is crazy. Why even use drugs when you can have this instead? On paper there's not a lot of upgrade from the first version, but this demo very well proves that wrong. Good stuff! I sold my mk1, debating weather to get this or the meris 7.
These are just small bits I came up with to make the demos, so unfortunately no, there are no full songs associated with them! But you can listen to my ''Ambient Sketch'' video series on my channel if you like this kind of music! Thanks :-)
Shucks, now I gotta get one. Your great intuition on what style, chords, etc.to play are so spot on for the individual sounds.
Superb!!! Cant wait for your comparison review...
It's amazing how this rivals Strymon in such a small form factor, I wish they had a delay like this, that you didn't have to download stuff for
This and the Volante... Amazing tones. Great demo too! Thanks!!!
Couldn't ask for a better demonstration. Well done.
Sure love that shimmer sound! Great pedal!
Beautiful... Really amazing sounds and ambiences you get out of this magical box!
Love your channel. Inspired me a lot, thanks for making this stellar ambient guitar music!
So many reverb pedals to choose from, I’m torn between BlueSky, Immerse, Del Verb, Golden and a few others. Thanks for your great video!
Seems like all the TH-camrs have been sent their new Immerse! Fabulous sounds.
Yes, I'm a bit late to the party ;) but I do confirm it's one of the most amazing reverb pedals I have owned!
Beautiful sounds! Thank you!
Very, very good spring mode. The best I’ve ever heard.
I don't usually like spring reverb but I like this spring reverb, I agree.
Best demo yet! Awesome!
Sounds beautiful !

What do you think, for ambient use, which is better, walrus slo or this immerse v2

I’ve got mk1 amazing pedal, this One seems really good, new features... thank you neunaber !
Beautiful sound!
Amazing and cool sounds.. I like your style. Thank you for review...
Lovely stuff man!
I'm so in love with the sound of this pedal but I cant pull the trigger because of the lack of save banks
Does this have high enough impedance output that I could use it in the fx send of my mixer?
Man, I want this pedal so hard :(
Amazing!

Wonderful and helpful demo. This pedal sets the bar pretty high for reverb sounds. I'm saving my nickels for this one!
It's amazing..Very dynamic and lush..
From a voicing standing point this guy versus Bigsky? Thanks

I recommend the hall mode ^^

Can you show the wet setting with full depth?
More in-depth demo coming tomorrow!
Just ordered one for my moog synthesizer!
Wet and Hall are hard to beat. All sound beautiful though.
Awesome. Is it possible to do "auto-swells" like with the oceans 11 ?
in my pedal while in sustain mode if I max out depth knob it turns the pedal off... Is it problem or am I doing something wrong..?
Should I get this or the slo
great
Can be comparable with Big Sky ?

Options aside, how different or better is it than similar settings on a HOF for instance?

Neunaber vs bluesky? 🤭 which one?

That's a really superb review and made me send back my mk1 and order the mk2 today.
Ps...your English is superb, ignore the detractors!
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate!
100% wet is so Victorialand from Cocteau Twins
Great demo!
Is it possible to use the outputs as dry/wet? I'd like to send the shimmer sound to one amp and the clean signal to another.

My plan is to stack the Immerse MKII with the Meris for all kinds of reverby goodness 😁

For me, the Neunaber pedals have the most magical reverbs. It always feel so right... So, this one hands down for me!
But let's be honest. It's not only the neunaber that sounds great. It's also your guitar! Which guitar are you playing here?

This on your pedalboard?
Yes

Antoine Michaud genial lo espero para poder comparar ambos 👍🏻
100% wet
Yes. Yes I am. :D
Everything sounded awesome, except sound #9. The new WET algorithm sounded really metallic at 100% wet.
