Very nice video Ashley, great editing work! The mechanical is just so much nicer than the auto. The no-date, the creamy dial, the need to interact with the movement. And that they got 60 hours out of a 4 hz movement is great! Considering all of this, the price is reasonable.
Excellent review! I'm not in a rush to add a second Hamilton to my collection, but if I had to right now, the panda-dial Intra-Matic Chronograph H with leather strap would certainly be top of the list.
A busy week, finally have the time to watch this videos. The long awaited review of this hamilton. And wow you really get it for a very good price, nice find! And your video editing is just wow 👍🏻😍.. awesome video!
Awesome video, Ashley! That is a beautiful, versatile watch. It would look good on any wrist and complement any outfit. I like the mechanical more, but the auto is pretty slick as well. Keep the great content coming!
Oh my, why can't I meet a lady as wonderful as you are, I've recently purchased a Hanhart 417es it's amazing. I'm considering a Hamilton. Thanks for the awesome review.
My Hamilton Khaki King is far and away my favourite watch! My GADA. Another informative review Ashley. My Chronograph watch is the Hemel Air Wing Bi-Compax powered by the Sea Gull ST19 movement. The Hamilton looks good on you! But girls can make anything work for them. I admit that my watches are bracelets. Jewellery :-)
if you do not mind the branding, give it a try on Sugess Chrono 38mm Panda it is more wearable, open case back for handwind movement, and it is only USD 200
I have the white dial with leather band Hamilton H51 i had for over 2 years now i wear it every day it keeps perfect time always right on button it's the best watch i ever had and I have a lot of watches
Hi, just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed 😁 may I know your wrist size? Im really keen on buying the Intra matic chrono H, but im afraid my 6.5" wrist might be too tiny. Great vid btw!
still look good for female to wear slightly loosen compare to male. Been seen around that would still acceptable . The metal bracelet, buckle of the leather might also scratch the case back
Price went up recently because of energy costs increased, i suppose. It was around 2k usd in 2022. You know, there is a war going on and everything has increased its cost, in europe at least.
Subscriber from Malaysia saying hi and thanks for the good review! However my heart beats faster every time you point the spring bar tool near the watch! Maybe get a wooden or plastic toothpick instead to avoid scratching these beautiful watches?
The chronograph is very good , but i prefer vintage originals because of the movements used in that time period and you have history at your wrist. But for that you need some experience and knowledge and eventually some spare parts if you dont want to burn money . So the modern wristwatch is without risk and with warranty . The price is okay , there are other brands which are not better, but cost more.
@@ashleytee I dont know how it is in your country , here in Germany we have flea-markets where you can find used things.Six weeks ago someone offered me a Gigandet chronograph from the sixties , both (!) pushers broken , cracked Hesalit crystal where you can barely see the dial and bottom gasket disintegrated for 50€ . I took the risk and bought it .At home i opened the watch and inside i found a beautiful Landeron 248 without water damage , which might have been in this condition , and a minty dial and hands. The case got an ultrasonic cleaning , a new gasket and a new crystal (20€) from me , then i gave it to my watchmaker for new pushers (80€) and a service (100€) . And i noticed that it is a referee chronograph for soccer , because it counts 45 minutes , not so common ! At least , when i get the watch back , it costs me complete 250 € , an overhauled pice of history in very good quality . And today i found a modern Eta automatic watch in very good quality where you have to do nothing for 30 € , the brand is Kolber , unknown for me .
How come "white" dial watches are never white? They're always off-white, or silvery white, or cream, or...the color of nicotine-stained teeth. What gives? Why is it so difficult to find a pure white dial? Anyone know?
"Best Bang for Your Buck" is rather subjective considering Sugess make a Chronograph for 15 times cheaper and the same or better quality... the only difference is that "Swiss Made" on the dial and a few zeroes in price.
@@ashleytee Well exactly. Seagul was making chronographs since 60s (I see Sugess as the western leaning arm of seagul, although their exact relationship is not clear), Hamilton copied chronographs decades later. Seagul chronos have more history behind them than Hamilton, not to mention the price. Hamilton is effectively Swatch group's "homage" brand, they copy more expensive Swiss watches and sell them at 1/3 the price (e.g. the Hamilton is copying Breitling Premier B01).
@@ashleytee P.S. Hamilton as a watch maker ceased to exist in 1969 and by 1972 it was liquidated as a company. Now it is just Swatch's mid market arm, Swatch has no claim over any of Hamilton's pre 1970s American history, that watch maker is gone so current Hamilton has no heritage. But anyway thats just me perhaps.
Not really worth the money lmao. Hamilton is known to be extremely overpriced and low quality, completely outperformed by its sister brands like Mido and Longines. You can get a sugess for 1/10th the price that looks the same and isn't an expensive quartz. They didn't even frame the date window lmao
Great review. Funny, not rushed. I enjoyed it a lot:)
Thanks for a great review. I had been contemplating buying this watch for quite some time and you helped me make up my mind. Keep up the good work.
I need a Hamilton in my collection. Another great video Ashley.
Yay!!
Recently got mine. It’s the automatic. Love it! And absolutely look more handsome 😊
nice!!

Thank you! It was still a difficult decision choosing either one!
best watch reviewer. not in rush.
Excellent review! I'm not in a rush to add a second Hamilton to my collection, but if I had to right now, the panda-dial Intra-Matic Chronograph H with leather strap would certainly be top of the list.
Awesome! Just curious, would you go for the auto or mechanical?
@@ashleytee Definitely the mechanical. It’s not a big price jump to the auto, but the mechanical just feels it’d be more “right”.
Beautiful timepiece and a great review with slices of humor that really made me giggle. Thanks for sharing.
hehe thanks!
Nice video! Definitely helped me make up my mind.
Incredible watch! Some of the Hamilton lines that don't get seen enough is insane...This is definitely one of them!
Indeed! In fact, I only got to know this watch from a poster outside the shop! That was when we decided to try it on.
A busy week, finally have the time to watch this videos. The long awaited review of this hamilton. And wow you really get it for a very good price, nice find! And your video editing is just wow 👍🏻😍.. awesome video!
Awww.. thank you as always! My laptop lagged like crazy even with these simple edits!!!
I think Hamilton and Tissot mechanical chronographs are the best value for money from Swiss watchmaking perspective. Great video Ashley! 🙌
Thanks for leaving a comment Abdullah!
agree .... Hamilton has the looks but doesn't break the bank. I own the khaki field watch and love it
I Enjoyed your review and it answered most of my questions about this watch.
Glad it helped!
Great review, I think this is my next buy. Thanks
Awesome video, Ashley! That is a beautiful, versatile watch. It would look good on any wrist and complement any outfit.
I like the mechanical more, but the auto is pretty slick as well.

Thank you Keith!
Excellent video Ashley! Looking forward to more content!
Thanks so much!!

Great review. Keep it up!

nice! that's cool
Date change? i think that is an important point as this watch makes changing dates a little different for better or worst.
If you can find it for under $1600USD it's arguably the best mechanical chronograph in that price range being sold today.
Always love to see female watch reviewer channels!
Thank you!
Hi, just discovered your channel and immediately subscribed 😁 may I know your wrist size? Im really keen on buying the Intra matic chrono H, but im afraid my 6.5" wrist might be too tiny. Great vid btw!
Hey there! Thanks for the sub! My wrist is about 5.9inches
Can Hamilton please make a 34mm version of the Intramatic chrono?
still look good for female to wear slightly loosen compare to male. Been seen around that would still acceptable .
The metal bracelet, buckle of the leather might also scratch the case back
😭thank you.. yes females still can wear it

That mesh looks really well made. And it's easily adjustable to suit you and your partner's wrist. :P
yeah it's a solid bracelet! :P
This is a lovely watch... however the thickness was a dealbreaker. So l opted for the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer Panda 🐼 instead.

Thanks for subscribing! Yes, my husband feels the same! I shall use a wooden toothpick next time :D
I know, right? 😢
nice review
Thank you!
Thanks, girlfriend!! Might have to add this to my collection -peace- gurrrl from brooklyn
hey there! thanks for watching!
Subscribed!
Thank you !
Which one gives better looks Auto or mech bracelet
I personally prefer the mesh bracelet
Mind sharing which AD u got ur watch from in Malaysia? 🙏
Hey there, I got it from Hang Thai in Atria
Sub! Review done nicely. Do give Escapement & Watch credits for his video. Haha.
Oh I actually did! On the bottom left corner... maybe the texts are too small? 🤔
The watch looks gorgeous but kinda difficult to read the dial.
Yes! You are absolutely right! I forgot to mention that actually. Often times, I took few seconds just to see what time is it 😅
@@ashleytee that's fast enough. Given my 老花 I probably need more than 10 secs to read. 🤣
what's your wrist size? mine is 6.25 inch wrist and i want to buy this with the mesh bracelet.
Mine is teeny tiny 5.9 inch!

I still don't really know how to shop for vintage watches. I'm so scared of being ripped off

In my Country this watch is priced 2500 euro.
Well, maybe it is worth it, but definitely out of my budget range.
beautiful piece, but i really feel it is overpriced, I would pay 1400 usd too, but not 2200 at all!
yeah, having said that, I'm still lovin' this piece a lot :D and really glad I got it for 1400
Or buy a Seagull / Suggess for a fraction of the cost
"Best Bang for Your Buck" is rather subjective considering Sugess make a Chronograph for 15 times cheaper and the same or better quality... the only difference is that "Swiss Made" on the dial and a few zeroes in price.
would argue otherwise. I think it's in different segment altogether, considering its heritage and brand. But I respect your point :)

Definitely not a woman watch.🤢🤮🤦
Out of my 14 watches, this watch is still one of favourites, get so many comments when I wear it.
amazing!
