Often times I reread the first chapter after finishing the book and it clears things up and reminds me of things throughout the book.

The 2 of you are terrific. Being a young adult in 1973 and hearing your views on the book ( all the presidents men) and events give me hope. And ( maybe because of being a child of 60s and 70s … monsters are real and… we had “wild Wild West” tv show. Definitely steam punk! ❤

Totaly agree with your Ordinary Monsters review. Really enjoyed it, the train scene was intense! I felt like it was a dark XMan, more realistic. Will absolutely read the next one! 😊

Looks like I need to both of those books on my TBR. I was 20 years old when Nixon resigned, so I remember this time in history. I’d like to read the book to learn more about it. For something light hearted, Check out the movie “ Dick”. A comedy about a couple of young gals befriending Nixon. I liked it!

You need to read the sequel to ATPM - The Final Days. This is the investigate, trial, and Nixon’s resignation.

I was living through the Nixon shame and betrayal. It was confusing and just one more bad thing. I think I should try reading both books you mentioned. You did a great job. I was drinking chai because it's Friday.

Brandon-Try The Watergate Girl by Jill Wine-Banks. It is a memoir by the only female lawyer who served on the Watergate team. I found it fascinating.
