You forget a sore throat that lasts longer than a few days. I just got diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer & I have had a sore throat for over a year, went to the E.R. many times and they NEVER listened or checked it: now it's too late!🙏

As a former smoker, I worry about this because of the way that I used to smoke. I would drag the smoke halfway down my throat, ( as opposed to pulling it all the way into my lungs). I quit smoking after being a caretaker to three friends dying of smoking related illnesses. It's been 14 yrs. Fingers crossed 🤞.

I don't hope I don't have cancer. I cant figure out what my problem is. I went to my dentist and oral surgeon last week to be evaluated about my recent dark spot in my mouth that has appeared again after years. The oral surgeon offered me a biopsy, and he said it would cost over $1,000 with my insurance. I had so many health problems since 2008 when I graduated high school. As for the month and throat problem, the roof palate of my mouth turned dark brown/black in 2017 or 2018. I had a black doctor at the time. He told me nothing was wrong with my mouth and black people have darker gums. He ignored my symptoms. Months and years later, my tonsils have been completely swollen and they never went down. The back of my mouth is always red, and there are small lumps hidden below my tonsils. I did go to an otolaryngologist (ENT) last year. He looked and immediately said my tonsils need to be removed. I still think there is something more going on. I have also been dizziness with vertigo since February. I have a neurologist appointment on May 3. My mouth and throat has been red and swollen since 2017 or 2018. It looks hideous.

I have had dysphagia for over a year now. I was even hospitalized at the beginning of this year because I lost so much weight from it. I was given an endoscopy and colonoscopy while I was there as well as 2 ct scans. They were actually looking for malignancies. I also had a barium swallow test a month later and no malignancies were found. Though I'm still concerned I have cancer that they may have missed. Only reason is because last 2 weeks I've been noticing a structural change in my Adams apple as well as pain in my neck jaw and ears. Also constantly feel like I have liquid just sitting at the top of my throat all the time. Going to see my Dr again in 2 days. Hopefully just an infection or something

bro same, I'm 13, had a long-lasting cold. It went away but I have a sore throat, lumps in the back of my throat, and a feeling of food stuck when swallowing. Can you tell me how everything resolved? Where I live health care is rationed. 1st doctor visit in 8 years last week. immediately sent me to see 3 specialists for variety of possibly serious issues. one is trouble swallowing and my speech volume diminishing. always believed prevention is the best cure. live healthy. no vices or drugs. but what good is it if you literally can't see a doctor for 8 years because of waiting lists? the system isn't working.

Sir, I was recently diagnosed to have "leukoplakia vocal cords" with advice for biopsy. I am 49 and have a history of smokeless tobacco consumption. There is no difficulty in swallowing, no pain, no fever, no lump, no lymph node enlargement and other problems in my daily life. I am eating and swallowing normally without any discomfort like earlier. The only problem is that I have hoarseness of voice since last three weeks, and it too gets better when I give rest to my voice for 2/3 days. After talking to someone for sometime I feel a kind of fatigue in my voice box, but it too gets better after rest. There is no irritation of any kind in my throat and no swelling of glands, no fever, no pain, no lump formation, no difficulty in swallowing and drinking fluids. Kindly advice what do I do for this sir... Does "leukoplakia vocal cords" always have the potential to turn into invasive cancer sir... and should I do the biopsy test ? And if I do the biopsy, will the wound caused by it heal sir...
If you got a small bubble like or small ball like in your right or left neck see your doctor immediately. Post Cancer treatment is hell in my view.
I'm 24 yrs old and I'm afraid I'm experiencing some of the symptoms of this illness... I am having a sore throat for more than 5 month by now, in our place we dont have Gastroenterologists, so I consult with MS (Mastar of Surgery) who does endoscopy but found nothing. I suffer from bulimia and I'm worried about getting cancer, The right side of my throat hurt when I swallow and its been sore for a week and a half now.. I recently discovered a tiny bump, It isn't noticeable but when I turn my neck to the left and put my finger right under my ear near the jaw and feel and small hard ball.. kinda like a pebble.
Thats like lymph nodes? That u need to get like biopsey. It might not be d source of yr issue. I have had lymph node swelled during my cancer diagnose. They drain my lymph in 1 n could not find anything. D actual cancer was at back of my throat. Lymph is swollen to protect cancer from spreading. So keep eyes on it…if it does NOT go away after 1 month…go to dr. And MAKE SURE bring someone with u ..so they will take u seriously than brush u off. If the cancer is in soft tissue like mine did..d only way to check was like doing an CT scan or MRI. Throat cancer oftenly is highly treatable at early stage..they are very painful. I left for too long , stage 4. It was aweful. So dont worry too too much..but PLEASE get it checked

Leena Abu fol it can be a number of things. It doesn’t have to be cancer. For instance, my eyes were twitching and I felt scales on the side of my face. I thought head cancer. I went to two doctors, the dentist, and Optometrist. My eyes were fine! My teeth and jaws were okay. Both doctors said “Anxiety!” One doctor went so far to describe my own symptoms without me telling her. She was like “Yeah...I had that too in college😂” I’m a see a ENT doctor soon. A little Jesus praying doesn’t hurt either. Each time I’ve worried, it’s never been worth it! I lost a lot time worrying for nothing! Plus, what can you do anyway? @@juniorlifter369 i dont want to spread fear, but i was just watching this girl talk about how she was diagnosed late because doctors said it was "anxiety". She passed away. If you want to look her up i believe her channel name was biohazard girl. And remember that an impending sense of doom or a feeling of something wrong with you is considered valid by docs cause the brain realises something is wrong even if it cant pin point what it is. Never disregard what you feel just because its not detected. Always get a second opinion and dont let them know that you were visited by another doc cause they may not take you seriously.

U need to go to d hospital or apply or get reffered to check “lynch syndrome”. Because if ppl like me or yr dad. The kids have 50/50 chance having it. Prone to infection to throat/intastine/lung…small surface soft cells can mutate.
U will have to take high Vitamin C pills daily . Boost immune . Vitamin C can mess up mitochondria formation when Cancer Cell grow new cell. It cant destroy pre exist ones, but can drastically slow down new cell. So its really good habbit to take Vitamin C high concentration tablets for ppl who might be genetically prone to cancer like my family. Lynch syndrome just means …..there is 1 DNA that’s prone to throat/abdominal,, lung cancer mutation. Food tracks.

My Father died due to throat cancer. He was about 68 when he passed away, he also was an avid smoker. If you're reading this, and are a smoker, please consider stoping your vice and start living healthier. I personally would never smoke.

So I have all 3 of the Red flag symptoms , but the biopsy came back and the doctor said it's not cancer ! Thank God , but I'm very concerned ! The ENT specialist referred me to the cancer center , because the antibiotics that he prescribed for 3 times daily for 10 days , didn't work , the lumps are still there , I'm still having trouble swallowing and my voice is still Horst ,

I'm a Nigerian too and we definitely have throat doctors. We call then Ear, Nose and Throat doctors. I believe you can find them in every state or federal owned hospital.
Can throat cancer start in the nose?
I had terrible sinus problems for over a year now and its affecting my swallowing now doctors say sinus infection but sometimes i not so sure as i had this problem a long time now. When i swallow nose bleeds and sometimes blood goes into my throat my nose does feel very sore inside i am really getting worried about this. I am not getting sick and i not getting any sore throats but this has affected my swallowing.
@Sheree Hardin He did that a few months back it was fine also had ct scan had some inflammation and fluid in nose. Going back to ent soon I getting alot of green mucas coming out of it is this a clue.

For hypo t... Ingest iodine supplement, or iodine rich food. Next, ingest a tablespoon of coconut daily. The hypo will be corrected.

Well I stopped smoking nearly 2 years ago but I’m on disposable vapes, my neck has been feeling tight and uncomfortable recently but that’s suppose to be a side affect, and I’ve noticed that my throat has been r numb, I’ve been really paranoid about it anyone know what I should do?
All i can think of is to stop. Which is next level difficult i know as i myself can never seem to give up smoking weed and vaping for more than a few weeks or month even though I've had most these symptoms for a couple years now and worry very much that it's cancer.
I'm gonna call a doctor and get an appointment as soon as I'm done writing this.
For the last two years I've been asking other vapers if they get a feeling of tightness and persistent discomfort in the throat and nobody else until your comment now seems to know what I'm talking about. I chalked it up to just having an extra sensitive throat but now that I've been looking into this throat cancer stuff I'm starting to think that would explain it. I've even been getting random ear pain the same ear for a month now.
So ya, time to see the specialist and hope it's an early diagnosis, i guess i can only recommend the same my friend.
@@tigadirt I’ve asked family members and they experience different things, it was up until I started experiencing a numbness on my neck I went to the hospital and it was just a cold and turned out it’s mainly the paranoia getting so bad it caused delusions you’ll be fine but if you want then get checked out and let me know because I don’t trust hospitals
@@tigadirt I can’t even stop for a couple hours, I seem to have multiple drags on disposables every fifteen minutes, I went cold turkey on smoking weed after 2 years of smoking it, I think it all depends on how bad you really want it, mine was my mother catching me stoned out my head and she looked ashamed, trying to find the motivation for disposables atm
@@jlostz6622 ya i'm not big into hospitals and doctors either. I can understand that they have to put up with a lot of hypochondriacs but there is still some number of people in unlikely demographics, like youth, who get terrible diseases and the like. Yet most doctors will simply laugh ya out of the office rather than be sure.
I should mention i smoked cigs and cigars and vaped for nearly a decade before settling on just vaping. And honestly freebase vaping doesnt seem to have any negative side affects on me so far but everytime i try getting into nicsalts i get short of breath and tight of chest. And the icy ones give me "neck" freeze.
Might be alright to just stick with old school freebase vaping if your having too much trouble trying to kick the habbit man. People said i'd puff less on nicsalts but i know i didnt really. And ya, you definitely have to want it like almost nothing you ever wanted before with quitting eh. (Lol, probably never gonna fully quit smoking weed though)

Go to the doctors straight away. I literally went to the dentist last week. She saw something dodgy in my throat and I'm in to see a specialist in less than two weeks.

Same. I had a really sore, hoarse voice out of nowhere a month ago. It went away on its own..now, out of nowhere, a white patch on the back of my tonsil has occurred. Going to the dr next week. Good luck.

The only real symptom I had....every once in a while I felt like I had a piece of small wire Stuck im my throat..from time to time.As it persisted I complained more to my doctor an finally got an ENT appt. Stage 1 laryngeal cancer. I had stopped smoking two years prior....
I have gone through fiber-optic endoscopy for my throat because of having all these symptoms with burning pain over left side of my throat and left ear pain. And doctor said results are normal. But they sees LPR. Acide reflux issues in my throat. . But I still feels like they have missed something .. I am scared. Is it possible for fiber-optic endoscopy to miss cancer ???

@@jacksonboy7432 no. The pain and sorness goes and comes... Pain and sorness lasts for one or two weeks and it disappears. It again comes after one or two weeks.
Did you see an ent specialisdt for a biopsy?
@@ErickGarcia-cj2uf no because.. once they did an endoscopy of my throat. The results was normal. They said I have slight acid reflux issue in my throat and that might me the reason of sorness. But now it's almost three months. And still I have the sorness. Also ear pain. 😭

I'm become paranoid because of the video I'm watching right now about throat cancer. I'm 21 years old and I'm not a smoker or alcoholic but I was diagnosed in tonsillitis when I was 19 years old, I have symptoms and I hope this is not throat cancer sometimes my voice is changes I experience it's hard for me to speak sometimes, I feel the right side of my neck is different from the left side I feel isn't normal, I'm having hardship to swallow sometimes, before I will spit blood and I feel it's from my throat and sometimes it's hard for me to breathe. I'm afraid I want to be check but I don't want to be a burden to my family because we already have a lot of problems, so this concern I will entrust everything to the Lord that He will heal me. I hope and praying for healing for everyone.🙏

I am 20 and I have started smoking 3 years ago.
At starting I used to smoke 1 or 2 cigarettes a week and in last 2 years I have smoked a around 1 cigarettes daily rarely 2 and very rarely more than 2

I'll just put it out there. I've always been healthy. I've only been to the hospital once for kidney stones. Anyway, almost three weeks ago I woke up with a sore throat out of nowhere. After about a week it didn't go away. Then suddenly it got better and almost completely went away. Then, suddenly it just came right back but this time it was worse. Now it's subsided again and last night it was almost completely gone again. I talk to my parent about it but she thinks I just did something to my neck. I don't have hoarseness and my voice hasn't changed. No lump either that I can feel. I scheduled an appointment though next month. This would just be weird. I'd be the first man in my family to ever have cancer in the last 100+ years. No one in my family that I know has ever died of cancer either. Better to be safe than sorry though. Just such rotten luck. I lost my career during covid and been struggling ever since and now this? Like could the universe possibly toss anything else at me lol?

I have been experiencing all these symptoms along with left side sore throat and left ear pain past six months. I consulted ENT specialist and gone through endoscopy of my throat. And the results are normal. I can't. Even swallow few drops of water. It hurts like burning. I went to gastro doctor. He did another endoscopy to my stomach. And he also said everything is normal . Throat also seems to be normal. I don't know what to do next. I feels difficulty to breath too... What should I do next..??😭

@@gurwinderkaur7511 still going through this. And no improvement. Recently I did a neck CT scan and MRI tooo . MRI and CT shows everything normal. But 6mm lyphnodes in my neck and right side tonsil. Nothing much. Doctor says I have nothing in my throat. He asked me to see a psychologist 😨. I don't know why doctors don't understand the pain.

Hospital staff was telling me “worse case ever” n def not gonna work thru chemo n radiation. I got thru it. Those side articles SAVEd MY LIFE. All science based. :)
