The way for this Leopard to consistently find his collaborators is to have a larger group than the four people discussed. The Leopard is not meeting one platoon of heavies, he is meeting multiple platoons of collaborators who exist to feed damage. In this scenario it is also likely there were multiple single tanks like the Leopard farming damage.
Just what I was coming to post. 10 platoons, 20 platoons, more.
He has multiple computers, definitely.
no way i believe 3 guys are wasting theire time for 1 guy to farm. i do believe 1 guy having 4 computers.
That's my initial thought too. Must be a system with several tanks that get pushed I think. As there are legal mods to easily identify "friends" in the team panel, I assume that is how the decision for each battle is made.
I would bet money that this isn't a privat effort but rather organised business.

Its highly entertaining for me to watch others repeating the same thing while expecting different results.
I stopped playing a few years ago, I was a very good player and loved the game but each patch broke the flow and feel of the game more and more. I went back on and played a few games for the first time in about 3 years the other week and oh my word the game was just a boring, dull, lifeless gold spamming camp fest dominated by impenetrable hull down tanks occupying key positions. 90% of the skill in the game had gone, positioning and aiming wasn't as important and any sort of aggressive play to flank or root out a dug in enemy resulted in near insta death via 1 of the many many TD's sat miles back. The game now feels like play a certain tank, rush a certain position and hope the enemy pushes you and not much else
Insane no? Lol. I deleted my game 2 years ago and never turned back. Still watch a video once in a while.

I think you don't see this: the MM try to put together toons of the same type and tier, in wotblitz we have the same case: 2 toons of tier 9 and 8 it's a failtoon, with other toons going at the same time into battle just for the damage
The Leopard was in a platoon, too. If two same tier & same size platoons drop-in into battle, the chance they end up in opposite teams in one battle is higher.
Yes the Chance is higher .. 2012-2014 u can do this easy but the player base grow ... its VERY rare nowdays , getting game after game after game in a match ... there are no games in between... thats the question
The Leopard was in a platoon with 2 other medium tanks. The odds are LOWER to be matched vs a platoon of three heavy tanks. The match maker is looking for 3 other heavy tanks to put vs the heavy tank platoon. The whole thing is very strange!
@@ClausKellerman I do not know for sure, but I think the MM is biased to certain match-ups. Then you are able to download match statistics and run them through some ML you can get the most likely combinations to be assigned in opposing teams. Just my two cents.
they all have good stats and thats wy mm puts them on oposite sides all u need is a 3 man platoon with simmilar stats(the higher the better) and u will get to fight them frequently ...cuz mm is trying to balance the teams...there is also platoon composition that matters but that is the last thing mm checks for......remeber when they did mm update to make mm skill based ...that changed things and made this possible

I recently saw a advert on TH-cam for a company that can get you 279e within a certain time for money, and i was wondering "how the hell do they do that?" this i think is how they do it. Say you have a company of 50 wot players all dropping in at the same time wouldn't take a genius to rig plenty of games pass missions and get marks of excellence.
Yup. Because even for a really good player to get a 279e on a rubbish account will take too long to make it profitable, even at Chinese wages. The only way to do that efficiently and profitable is to rig it.

@@donnyanda3191 30 days? The best out there guarantee it within 3 weeks as long as you have a minimum 3 out of 5 tanks they recommned you have on your account. It's been like this for YEARS. One of the reasons I quit. But alas, people are more worked up over unbalanced tanks, than being an extra at someone elses boots session every few games. WoT in a nutshell.

Thank you for this video Claus! I have been on teams that did unusually poorly, even when I have a good game myself. And I would be curious to see what went wrong and it seemed like there was always this "platoon of noobs" who together did like zero damage or very little damage. I would often wonder how a platoon of 3 guys could suck that bad. I figured they must be brand new players who just bought some premium tanks or something. But now this answers the question. They were rigging the battle. And causing the rest of us to suffer because of it.
im looking i could see not only do bad but top tier toons that dont fire gun 1 dam time befor they die please i have say how you get to tier 10 without a left mouse button ?

When there was more of my clan playing we used to try and drop in together, (trying to get on the same side I should add). The success rate was very low and as Claus says we were just as likely to end up on opposite sides. I am astonished to see so many players post replays of themselves cheating or farming afk players. What sort of person would be proud of that!!!! I'd rather have a crap win rate and be clean than 60% and get up to these tricks.

It funny how some players think that the results they have, cheating, is something people want to see. And... they are right, we do want to see it, so we know who you are, and so we can work together to get rid of you, for GOOD.
Sync to play in same game as a rate about 60 % ... used it to play audio with friends, but we were playing the game and killing eachothers if we were ennemies.

We used to time in together a lot. But it was to fight each other not cheat.
Great video, Claus. This is one of the main reasons I quit playing WoT. Not being a part of a clan due to playing at inconsistent hours due to work and RL, I noticed things in many games that were questionable, but really couldn't prove anything. It just got frustrating and there are so many more games out there to play. I still watch your videos and QBs from time to time, but after seeing this video and QBs, I really have no interest in returning unless Wargaming takes serious action to address this. Thanks for the video!

@@ClausKellerman Claus, the answer to your question is that there has to be a sufficient number of cheaters and rigged platoons so that any cheater will most of the time get one of rigged platoon. Say 20 guys are in a room. 5 are damage dealers and 15 are damage takers. The dealers could get any one or even multiple damage taking platoons in a game. I find it difficult to believe there are more than 20 but if there were 40 guys involved, then ten cheaters could do drop ins with ten damage taking platoons of 3.
The economics of this is, if you're this "family business" you described, you have cheaters coming to you for lots of games. If you dont play those games you farm out the work to people who do and you get a fee. So now you have a small marketplace...players looking to cheat, a broker that does some of the work and farms out the rest.
So if 20 people a month are clients at $500, or 10k revenue a month, and it takes 20 people to play the games and run the business, that's 500 a month for each. Maybe the broker takes more and gets 2k and the employees get $200 month for a few hours work a night. For people in poor countries this is a viable business. Then if you add multiple games and revenue streams, you're only limited by the number of players you can find who want to make money. The whole syndicate could be run by an enterprising high school kid.

Claus! if you play triple platoon, the matchmaker will almost always place another triple platoon against you. Thus, with three people, you are maximizing the chances that you not only land in the same game, but that you end up on different teams
Every now and then when I am killed whilst being in cover or some other odd manner. I check the stats of that player and boy are there some weird stats. Then I watched a video by Raging Raptor where he talks about player paying other players to get their stats up so they can join certain clans. I find it hard to believe how seriously people take this silly game, but I think that there are a large number of cheaters (at various levels of cheating) in this game.
I have played for 10 years this year and I still love the game despite all its faults and cheaters.
Good video and is something the CCs should be on WGs case to address.
I gave up playing this game over 2 years ago. The cheating has been getting progressively worse and Im not about to give the cheaters the time of day.
As mentioned below, there are "farms" linked to people/companies that sell progress, be it ranked or missions. So yes, while it's impossible (as far as I know) to successfully sync drop to ensure that you're in the same match and even more so the opposite team every time, if you have say 5 platoons of feeder tanks, it's not unlikely that you manage to end up against one of them on a lot of occasions. These providers are good players from the start so even if they fail to sync drop a particular match they can still get a good result just on their own skill giving the average wn8 required for 3 marks or make progress on the 279e missions etc.
WG has never taken any serious action against riggers. Hell, even one of the German CC's was involved rigging for the old hover medium, most of the top clans were at the time and none of them were banned or even had the tanks removed. Mind you, the reason I don't play tanks anymore is plain and simple the ammo balance. When there's no way of predicting if you're going to bounce or get slaughtered since it depends on the enemies will to press 2 or not, all that remains is hull down shittery that geets boring really fast.
its not impossible - done it with my clan a lot during frontline - and also daily - just platooning together and timing it so we click battle together over voice chat- also picking a less populated server helps
This would imply no small amount of actual cash payment
I found that what determines if a) your shots will hit or b) they'll pen is based on your current performance. If you had a good game, RNG will F you over the next few games to keep your win rate to around 50 to 55 percent. The only random is where you go on any given map.
I noticed it when I had a series of good games with my T1...."suddenly" I couldn't hit the ground with my hat. My shots rarely hit what I was aiming at and if they did, they didn't pen.
I usually did well in my Matilda....for a battle or two...then sucked for the next 5. I hit a luchs in the ass with an APCR "you didn't penetrate their armor" In a normal game, that would have been a kill shot but because I'd had a gg the previous battle, it didn't.
I also noticed when you got a new tank, you did well at the beginning, then as you played your ability to pen, and hit targets dropped off. That's to get you "hooked" on the tank and say "this is good, I'll buy credits and keep working it" no no no says WOT....NO FUN FOR YOU!
I came up with an analogy: WOT is like a russian casino where on the roulette wheel, the dealer looks at the betting table, see where everyone bet, spins the wheel but keeps the ball in his hand. When the wheel stops turning he puts the ball into a slot where no one bet. If he sees someone who has lots of money? and bet $100, he'll put it in HIS slot, so he wins, then doesn't let him win until all his money is gone.
It is also like playing black jack with a russin dealer. The dealer plays the first face down card from the shoe, then knows what you need to win so he has cards face up under the table. If a 10 or face card will make you go bust, he reaches down, selects a face card NO WIN FOR YOU.
wg didnt do anything against riggers because they too are riggers.

A technical comment...
1. to simultaniously get into battle you click the "battle" button but hold the mouse button. You get into battle when you release the mouse button - better reaction time like that.
2. If you look at the pages "pay money and we mark your tank / get you a Obj. 279e"... that are "professionals". I guess you don´t have just 4 players at cheating (like in the vids) but much more at the same time so the probability to get into a fitting match are much higher.

Even if their timing was perfect all the time the odds are far to great of ever being in the same game on opposite teams.
completely agree, and you can play at night when not so many players in the game, so your chances to get to the opposite team are much higher.
@@anonymouscoward7559 3-400 players in the queue of those 33%? in tier 10 so let's say 100. of which 20 might be playing in platoons. the matchmaker will always try to match similar platoons (2 v 2, 3 v 3 etc) so the chances are a lot better then you'd think. if it's outside peak hours, it's probably 2-3 tier 10 platoons in the queue so will get matched up every other game.
we play in the clan in toons and it's not uncommon to get the same game even without counting.

Thanks Claus for the video. I've noticed this happening for a few weeks and couldn't put my finger on it. My team camp, don't move and die like flies. I'm typing to them in chat to move, spread out and push, but no, just sit there as if their new or drunk/drugged up. Really frustrating loss after loss after loss. Needs sorting out and quickly.

I thought the same thing about QB video. If you notice stats, those players feeding the Leopard, had about 20 games that day, while Leopard player had 30. Which means, there could be more platoons involved, since obviously 20 games means they did not participate in all the rigging. Maybe they dropped for some reason at some point and it was continued with other platoons. If more platoons were involved, it's more likely they were in same game. The Leopard didn't get lucky to have his buddies in same game all the time, because he had 80% win ratio. So, some games he was alone and lost. He could be alone in some game he won too, so we don't know how many games were actually rigged, but with higher number of platoons it's more probable. The feeding tanks also had 0 damage in all battles, which means if they didn't get to same battle as leopard, they didn't play anyways and just let enemy team win, most likely so they are available for rigging again. So it definitely looks like more platoons were available, or Leopard stats reflect exactly what stats you get if you only rigg same games out of 30. It seems unlikely that Leopard tried to rig 20 games, and then played additional 10 games alone that day.
As side note, feeding players were never on Leopard team, otherwise they would fight to win the battle, and they all have 0 damage. Not sure how matchmaker works, but it looks like they always put platoons of same tier tanks against each other. So with more platoons it may happen kinda often.
What does it say about people who feel the need to do this? Are they proud of their achievement ,or is it done because they can just do it? Either way it is very sad, for other players who don't cheat and are trying to do their best!

Sort of stupidity or who knows what. I guess there 2 kinds of players, those who want to be good, and those who want to look good... lol

Sometimes I miss an enabled chat between teams. Yes, it was cancerous, but at least situations like this wouldn't pass unnoticed like nowadays.
in the past, players chat each other to make some jokes or talk about how to win the game, but nowdays its just angry and mad players blaming each other, almos nobody read the chat, that makes this cheaters more easy to act.
wg does everything to rig games they disabled chat and friendly fire...they permit rng and they have hidden stats...this game is not about skill

I found a guy in one of my battles who rigged a bouncing mission with one of the enemy tanks, turns out, they were from the same clan. It took me two trys to report them, because wg-s ticket system was just sending me copy paste replys, and I'm still not sure if anything was done about the whole thing.
If WG didn't put in all these prem tanks who pen every shot they wouldn't need to. Those campaign missions need to be scaled with the power creep.

This is basically why I've virtually quit playing this game. What is the point when cheaters, disconnection issues and RNG are against you. Playing top tier tanks is essentially a waste of time
It’s one of the ways you know when a game is going down the toilet , when these type of things become more common and resources to catch them are not being allocated

Yes, I do believe that SAMs should be in the game. We already have Surface-to-Surface missiles raining in on us via SPGs.
Glad these vids are out to expose these cheaters. I was actually on Qbs stream when he caught them and I've known for years that most of the matches are rigged. Top tier tanks die under 3 mins tells me that the match is rigged from the beginning. I hope Wg clamps down on it. If they don't I feel they are more responsible than the cheaters themselves for allowing all this for happening. Thx Claus!!!
I'm falling apart due to brain cancer, my computer is about to crash as its 13 years old but your videos always bring a smile to my face. Keep putting these idiots out there they shouldn't be playing. I miss playing my games but it is what it is hope you are doing well claus.

I will go watch the Quicybaby video, but honestly. The focus on stats on this game is probably the most destructive aspect of it. Since I started playing 4 years ago, XVM has been responsible for everything from harassment and abuse in chat to players dropping out of games, suicides, simply not playing the battle, and all other manner of game destructive behavior.
There should be no way in the game to read the stats of others unless they willingly share them with you.
People resetting or creating new accounts to artificially inflate their stats is also an issue. I doubt very much people are so talented that their 100 battle account has a 52% win rate and they happen to call everyone on the team tomatoes.
As long as there is a focus on stats on the game, it will continue to not only breed cheaters, but also stat shaming and game throwing.
XVM and stat mods must go for the survival of the game.
@doc mike - I agree with this 100%. I also, like a lot of others I would think, have tanks that you struggle to get a win in. These low win rates put me off playing them, even though I really like the tank. I wish they would abolish the stat mods & sites completely, especiially XVM. It puts me off playing the game. I now annonymise my account & turn off team chat, less stressful that way. With XVM gone, the game would be WAY more pleasant, and it would also help if I didn't see a tanks WR when highlighting it in the carousel. I for one would like the option to turn it ALL off. I am a crap player, partly due to my age as my reactions are slower now, and I DO NOT need this rubbing in my face whenever I look at the carousel. Sorry for the rant, but this is just my 2 cents worth.
I partly agree as I use xvm & WG approved Mod but only b/c I hate the roman numerals for tiers, like the color scheme for IDing different categories of tanks, white for dead tanks, etc in essence having data displayed in a easier way for me to follow it as I play. I am a senior player with old eyes. My desire would be that these visual aids as well as larger print be part of WOT.
Get rid of win rate. It causes stat padding & game rigging.
Not only that but I think they should get rid of all Mods. Any time I have seen Mods allowed in a game it is just asking for cheating and the request is always filled by someone.

Hello Klaus. I also have another question, not necessarily how the Leopard managed to get into opposing teams so many times with his platoon of cheaters.
Namely, since now, isn't it good to have as a rule - for 15 tanks in our own team, shouldn't there be a traitor, or several, who actually reveal our location, and we often get hits especially in locations unusual, and without being spotted?
It's a situation similar to streamers who don't cover their map on Live - although I hate watching the live of streamers who have their map covered, but there are players who manage to see the opposing team right from the map of those streamers in Live...
All in all, it's clear that the WG doesn't have much of a solution to this problem, and the only solution would be to either all cheat or just stop playing?
I for one - I've had a lot of signs in the past when I've been playing and taking damage from atypical positions, and without getting spotted, but to tick this off every fight you see this should get the WG to hire us as spies for him...
I have a great distaste for these scumbags who rip off the tops with their chests full of decorations and top ranking, but they are just pathetic thieves and they don't care. At worst, they get suspended for a few days and then start all over again with the theft.
Well done WG... and I say this with disgust, because he doesn't really do anything about this, with this problem, not to mention those with illegal mods, often even those are not caught.

Half a year ago I gave up on any online-games. In terms of WG I played Wows 2015-2022. I was accused of many things which I didn´t even know what it means, like being called a "rigger". Now I watch Klaus´s videos for entertainment but also as education. And these videos show me again and again that uninstalling was the right thing to do. It´s sad, the games could really be good.
And I don´t care that I´m eight months late on this one, this is still relevant. Thank you Klaus, I really enjoy your content!

Not that hard to rig the MM, get on when the server population is low, especially when nobody is playing high tiers, and you will see the same guys over and over again.

Notice that the Leo1 is also in a 3-man platoon the same as the heavies to be farmed. Unless I'm seriously mistaken pre-made platoons are always paired with another same size platoon in matchmaking, so having both sides of the cheat play a 3-man greatly increases the odds of being in the same battle.
sure, its easy to get in the same battle when server numbers are low, but from QB's video, the Leopard was nearly (if not always) on the opposite team to the 3 HTs. You'd expect that a few battles they'd end up on the same team but that doesnt seem to be the case. I'm just as confused as Claus is on how this happened.
@@clivedinosaur8407 QB didn't actually determine the Leopard faced those 3 heavies every time. If there are multiple farm platoons loading in he's bound to hit run into one of them. That makes more sense.
I have noticed quite a lot on the EU server lately that usually 3 or 4 tanks on my team do zero damage and don't even fire their guns. I thought maybe they were bad players but on checking their winrate they are usually around 53% plus. This way of cheating could be rife in the game now.
It's getting so blatant. I don't mind people being bad if they are trying. But this sort of crap makes me less inclined to log in.
Also "Mailand" was in a rigged game. They meet on discord servers and do random battles until they are in the same game. Then happens what we see in QBs video...
WG should ban them permanently without any chance to reactivate the account.

In a game that is like my programmed so that even the worse players “win” ~45% (?) of the tine, the idea that a platoon of tier 10 heavies would have such a low win rate (5-10%) seems like a statistical anomaly and not likely due to chance.

I have watched streams where they do the battle count down and, well the math gets crazy on probabilities because there are so many watching, I have often wondered how they can get on the same game without being platooned. Then I think maybe it has something to do with the connection and if the ping is low enough and everyone has that relative low ping if that would increase the chances... BUT, everyone knows that if there is a way to exploit a system to realize a gain, PEOPLE WILL DO IT!!! WG, WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE!!!!!???!!!??????
Just a thought, maybe limiting map selection and tank tier to the same on each account would sort of narrow down mm on who goes with who?
It would take all of 30 seconds to program a anti cheat / ban algorithm to kick ban these cheaters
how can we have an absolutely fantastic day when you're making a video about cheaters in a game that we pay much more (yearly) than 2 or 3 AAA title other game at full price? please tell us!
This is being done by a Clan for its Clan Members and they have worked out how best to do it together. The Clans need to be disbanded and all the participating members need lifetime bans... let those assholes find another game to cheat in.

Thanks Claus for showing this video (and thanks to Quickybaby as well). The really sad part about all this is that WG will do absolutely NOTHING about it. Oh sure, they'll give a the offending players a slap on the wrist .... and that's all. Like I have said time and time again, WG is nothing but a sleazy, money grubbing outfit that cares nothing about the honest players .... but they're happy to tolerate CHEATERS. How's that for a "zero tolerance" policy WG claims? These players accounts should be closed ...period ... no debate, no second chance, no appeal. This was done with clear intent. (But again .... WG doesn't give s**t.)
I agree 100% with your question about how these guys clicked in with each other.
What I would like to know is at the very start of the battle did all three of the heavy tanks in the platoon drive at the same time to their spots? If they went one by one then that would show that the main cheater in the Leopard couldn’t drive four tanks at the same time to set up the cheat.
That would mean that 2+ people were in control of these four tanks and most likely four (4) people participated in this.

Another way to increase the chances of the matchmaker putting the platoon and leopard in the same game is by excluding maps. If both exclude the same maps then they limit the games they'll end up in which increases the chances of meeting each other. Also run multiple platoons at once, so if the leopard doesn't encounter platoon 1 they might encounter platoon 2.
I'm sure WG can find out from the stats who the Leopard shot from game to game. And I bet it reveals there are multiple platoons playing at any one time increasing the chances of a rigged game happening. So multiple platoons and a greater chance of encountering one. If so, all these accounts can be banned - the platoons and the people who were shooting at them since they may be providing the same "service" to other players. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a commercial proposition somewhere.

I saw this on the Asia server all the time. Its why I quit the game. Usually happened late at night when there were less people on the server. It was infuriating. If you mention this on the Asia forums the fanboy mods ban you.
Well that's why I hardly ever playing tier X in SEA, it's full with viets with mods and rigging. Idk what happen nowadays since left the game for good 5 years ago.

Claus, this works more often than you think. If two or more player live close together, it works nearly all the time. If you live in different countries then it work only sometimes. It’s got something to do with the clicking delay over distance.
Of course it does, only important is time of a server receiving your "Enter Battle" button, not time you are clicking it. so longer delays to a server (since multiple servers can exist) mean bigger time differences on the server side thus smaller change for players to end up in the same session (team or battle) .

It would be a quality move for WOT, to verify any tanker's high W8/top damage game. But these guys probably dump so much cash, they choose to ignore this, and the base players complaints. Another call on the BS of Wargaming. Tanks for the coffee Clause! More power to ya.
That cash isn't going to Wargaming, the people doing this will almost definitely be doing it as cheaply as possible (standard rounds, cheapest premium heavies/tech tree heavies, no addons, etc...)
They could simply quarantine the cheaters. Put all cheaters into a separate queue and let them duke it out.

Not even playing anymore...its totally fixed. From the developers to the players. Stat padding and clan cheating is the norm .. This game is broken.

I want to know what WOT is going to do about it. But there is also the mm in the game which puts all the mediocre players on the same team. But I think there is pay to win.

I have seen rigging a few times. Hopefully now that two of WG’s top CC’s have taken notice of it, maybe WG will at least ban a few of those accounts. Even though banning is not an issue with the cheaters. They just create a new EMail address or two and carry on. At least it’s something.
They will not ban anyone. They dont want the whales to go away so as long as the money is flowing, they will not do a damn thing.
PS: Immagine an office, with 50 computers, in whatever place in the world... doing platoons and coordinating so they have more chances to be in the same team... Now a guy in Tanganika wants a 279e, he "buys" the missions, hands over the username/password (or they themselves create one) and now you have a whole office clicking the Battle button at exactly the same time. THEN, once they get the tank, mark or whatever, they give the username/password to the original buyer.
Doing it this way, it's WAY easier to get in the same battle.
Multiple platoons with multiple accounts looking to farm so that it gives a better chance for one platoon to meet an account that needs farmed. Also, if you are part of a platoon then you can count in with another platoon with the same tank types and are more likely to get placed against each other since the games tries to match platoons against another platoon, as well as matching total tank types.
There is a third party tool which connects you to same servers with the people you want. Cheaters liked to bully a lot streamers in other games (dead by daylight) back in the day. This tool works with every game, it works with ip adresses..
this has been done from day one. I have had whole teams as one alliance or at least split. Its totally random for if it puts you in same game. Totally ok with this, sucks but why complain about it now?
I have filed this same protest, and nothing gets done about it. So when I avoid combat till these cheaters fight... they complain against me and I get booted but they dont... it ruined the game for me... I dont play anymore.
I was asking myself the same question while watching QB's video.
I cannot say I have had many, but I have been in a number of games where good players stats wise achieved nothing. In some games I have died whilst a teammate could have taken some shots on my attackers but chose not to. Until I saw this and QB’s video I couldn’t make sense of it but now I can. Thank you.
Would dropping in after limiting maps and battle type could further enhance the likelihood that they will fall into the same game beyond just clicking in at the same time?
That last game result you showed where the whole enemy team 'disconnected' - do you know what time of day/night the game was played?
If it was early morning 3 - 4 am then that could be a boosting company 'dropping in' when they know the servers will be quiet.
I've seen a player with 41% winrate have Obj.279e. I wonder how he managed to get all those Ace Tankers and bouncing missions done, when he plays worse then AFK bot. But of course WG doesn't ban the account, because the guy just had a lucky 2 month period and then returned back to doing 254 average damage at tier 10 after getting all those missions done.
Dropping in together consistently: Each platoon leader MUST block the same 2 maps in settings ... I would assume that narrows the amount of people in the game pool ... making it easier to hook up. I'd even go as far as turning grand battles off ... thus making the pool even smaller.
this is why i no longer play. too many cheaters ruining the game for the serious players
There are websites claiming to give you loads of things like 3 marks on tanks, mission completions, etc . You have to give access to your account and pay an amount of real money and they get you the results in a specified amount of time . I'm guessing this is the work of one of these businesses. Still sucks
I can explain what is going on:
1.- It is the same player on 4 different accounts.
2.- He's playing at the lowest player saturation time (3:00-6:00 a.m)
How can you force the matchmaking system to match one account in the opposite team of a platoon? You can't. You do the classic thing of synchronized click to find a game at the same time. If you do this when 500 players on queue, then yes, the chance of being in the same battle is around 10%. But if you do this very late at night when only around 100 players on queue you will be in the same game with a 90%+ chance (there are multiple tiers and multiple battles running). Now you can be in the same team or in the opposite team. If you are using the same type of tank (let's say heavy tank) for the solo tank and for the platoon, your chance of being in opposite teams is increased, but let's assume you are using different types, like a leopard and a heavy platoon. So you have a 50% chance of being in the same or opposite team. Now the key is you can only play 1 tank at a time. If you are in the opposite team you get every heavy tank in the platoon and place them on bushes close to base where you can snipe them from distance with the leopard. You will win all of those battles, so you have a 100% (or very close) win chance. When you get them in the same team you play all like campers in different points, swapping between tanks when you have targets, or you can use the heavies as sparrings, using the leopard to get advantage of that, this is what this guy was doing. You will probably win around 20% of those games, or more if you are a good player. After all the damage from heavies is not that important if you can maximize another tank's damage with good dpm. Lastly you will get sometimes in a different game, and you will play the leopard alone, winning 50% of your games or more if you're a good player. All that combined is the 86% win rate for that leopard. If you ALWAYS get in opposite teams you get 100% winning rate.
What really needs to be explained to me is when QB states that WG response was that those cheater accounts was they got suspended for 7 days...
In the EU servers on 3-5am in the morning, there are sometimes as low as 1-2k users online, so the chance is maybe big enough at 5-4 AM
I've noticed that whenever I have a (rare) decent game that it's on the losing team. Makes me wonder if this could be part of that.🤔

from my previous clans, we do drop-ins also. we do platoons and press battle button at the same time. we did that for training. we call it "kill the officers". if any non officer and low ranking member is able to kill any high ranking officer, they get to choose a premium tank or gold as rewards. of course a member must play well, get through our team mates before they can have the chance to kill us officers. as a high ranking officer, I even play arty during those clan events.
Back when I played WoT and was in a clan, we did this, that 4-6 of us platooned up and while on TS, did this 3-2-1 'battle' thing.
It only happened a few times when we all got into the same battle, but when we did, then we would either try to tear each other a new asshole when we got on opposing sides or we steamrolled when we got to one side.
I admit, this later move wasn't very nice, but I feel absolutely no guilt over when our 2 platoons were on opposite side. We had great battles trying to wipe out the other platoon.
Thats harmless fun, no shame in that. It's fun to go against your buddies in any game every now and then.

The main methodology of matching up looks like simultaneously starting in platoons of 3 players each (hunter and prey) which greatly narrows the field.
I don't know how much vehicle class or hit/damage points total matter, but I imagine if they were very close in value it would also increase the odds of a matchup.
