Only something like bad press or WG becoming a social paraih/affected by cancel culture or similar will get their attention. A hard and drastic hit to their bottom line. As is with most large corporations. As long as the money keeps pouring in, they can afford to ignore everything else. So the goal should be to work on getting them out of the museums, working on companies like Microsoft and Sony to get their games kicked off of the next generation of consoles/not renewed, and so on. Make them a rotten potato that nobody wants to touch. Only when they see their money drying up will they come to the negotiating table.
@@tymcfadden8496 i sent dozens of illegal mod replays to support, the response was always standard..their penalty is only for show,how many players have been banned from b4it mods??600 player were banned except for the mod they sell..

Totally agree its someone inside WG stealing accounts.... Its bloody obvious Joe bloggs wakes up in the morning finds he can not log on to WG. Reports it... waits a week nothing happens... WG says his account is probably hacked.

If WG banned all the rigging cheaters, they would lose half of the player base = less players playing = paying players waiting long time in queue (getting pissed) = loss of money..thats why they dont care. Game is currently making money and that is all what interests them.

I think they know it's so rampant they don't care. Every year they warn or give people a minor temporary ban for cheating. They want their money and see that other players keep playing even with cheaters. So, status quo continues.
It seems clear to me that the cheaters are WG employees. That's how they get the old dormant accounts and why they have hidden names. And why they don't stop it.

The irony is that every time you post one of these videos YT adds an ad of a boosting company, just before the video starts. Yes, YT adds an advertisement of the company that just rigs the battles.

The ONLY way to stop this, is to stop paying WG and make them seriously interested in the player's opinions.
Caring about customers is a completely foreign concept in a corrupt post Soviet society. Caring about income is the only thing that matters.

@anordman9659 the problem is there's about 8 things that warrant closed wallets so if we stop paying over this it will won't get fixed amidst the several other things that need to be fixed.

@anordman9659 the primary point that I'm getting at there is that there is a whole lot with wargaming that is absolutely screwed up. That is the primary emphasis. But the solution is up to you, if you hate it that much then stop playing the game. And yes I know that is easier said than done because I hate it but it's really hard to just stop playing the game because I actually do really like the game. It's even a challenge to not spend money though I have not spent money since November when I bought a few garage slots. The outside of that my wallets closed.
Dude, I really appreciate your efforts. Unfortunately, WG is not interested in exposing game riggers. Only when you or Quickybaby makes a video about it, they seem interested. I have sent multiple videos with game rigging. Their standard answer is that the automatic system will take care of the issue.

I have watched Claus's cheating video's and 2 days ago while playing a player on my team noticed a odd platoon and said something in chat. 3 of us ended up going after the player being boosted (I had no idea at the time/was messaged after the game) and took him out a few minutes into the game and the other tanks involved did nothing- stopped moving, never fired one shot etc, etc...all of these accounts were in clans.

I've worked as a GM for an MMO and, because of they way they're able to use old accounts and not get the normal in-game ban's for inaction, I think the people behind these boosting companies are WoT employees or people linked to the aforementioned!
Log into a game, do nothing and see what happens!

Funny, I took a few days off from playing. I logged in for a few battles this afternoon and low and behold I have a message from a boosting company seeking my business to help me! Keep the pressure on them Klaus.
Wargaming might have a second revenue stream. Who owns the boosting companies?
I'm sure WG gets a percentage to look the other way.
Probably at arms length but the reason it continues IMHO is they (WG) are balls deep in these boosting companies.
On the first time thing. I was a prison guard for a year. Every inmate was either getting out in 2 weeks or was there for life. "Boss man it won't do no good to write me up. I'm getting out in 2 weeks, by the time sergeant or lieutenant gets around to it I'll be gone." or "Boss man, won't do no good to write me up. I'm here for life, what difference it going to make?"

And they will never get banned :) We all knew this years ago. Same reason the "Pro" "Skilled Clans" who use cheats, are caught using cheats, and own team members admits using illegal cheat never get banned. WG'ing is in on it for profit

How are people going to say, "This doesn't happen that much," when just this one guy, alone, has 1000 battles of doing nothing, dragging his team down? There are a lot of people that do this though!

Next step: create a "family tree" of these accounts and clans, involved in the rigging.
I feel this is why a lot of the times I’ll come back to the game after a long break, have games like this and then I’ll leave again for like another two or three months.

As I said before I have no doubt that there are WOT employees at the very least directly involved supplying old inactive accounts to the boosting company or WOT is being paid directly by the boosting companies and has no desire to kill a cash cow.
A fix would be to get rid of platoons. I can only speak for myself but the only time I platoon is to rig brothers in arms.
This is one of the reasons I quit playing. After playing since an original Beta player, I've had enough. My family of two other members also quit. Uninstalled successfully and this game will not be played in our household again, unless huge changes are made. Not just here, but unwanted proposed crew changes, a MM that has literally sucked for years etc. It all just became too much. Love your vids Claus. Keep up the great work!
With the cheating, unbalanced MM and WOT plus coming. The game doesnt seem worth playing much now. Definately not worth spending money on nowdays.
Other people have mentioned this... 'the silence of the company says all you need to know', 'they want their money'.
WG does not care a fig for whether the playerbase has a good experience or not, Claus. They do not care if game-rigging cheating affects hundreds (or thousands) of games.
They only care about what pads the wallet.
The recent update should have also made that clear... it's nothing but a smoothly advertised money pit that they want people to fall into.
The delay idea is a perfect solution along with the remaining un active for more that a number of seconds and then removed automatically
Disgusting, this cheating really needs to be addressed, most of the time I'm oblivious to this kind of cheating and usually focus on my own game and when there's a bunch of players in the team who do 0 damage I usually just think "oh well another shit team", but from now on I'm gonna keep all the replay and scrutinize them. The case of multiple players with 0 damage happens quite a lot.
You'd kinda think it'd be easy enough for WarGaming to setup a log / metric search that finds players with anonymised names and extremely low WN8/WR/DMG statistics.
All accounts that are doing nothing for hundreds of battles should be banned... cheaters or just morons who are wasting their own and other's people time!
I had few battles with similar players, reported them, sent replay but without results!
Thats why we needed full crew traits rework! 🤣

Good call on not using any mods for the reason you said. 17:18 I think I know why and I've been saying it for a while. WG is working with or somehow conspiring with the boosting companies. That's how the boosting companies get these accounts to use. They run boosting company ads during your videos, Claus. Just think of all the extra money WG can make and we all know that's the bottom line.
Thought WarGaming had a rule against account sharing? "BOTH party accounts will be cancelled" Since they aren't, this shows War Gaming itself is likely running these boosting companies.
yes, but you could always message them if you and your brother both played. they would make exceptions in most cases.
Had a game with this happening where a platoon of heavies rushed east on Fishermans Bay vs our platoon of heavies that were camping east and not shooting back, I don't even know how to report these people because WG puts like four options and none of them are descriptive or likely even reviewed which stinks
I raised a support ticket last week about a player cheating. I got several replies with every excuse under the sun for why that player WAS NOT cheating. It was obviously that the WoT support team had zero interest in investigating my report. Don't expect anything different on any issue you might report to the support team.

I bet most players seen cheating have cheated before. Rarely is it their first time that you catch someone
Just saw this video so I started looking at the players that have zero damage. It was a 6-7 tier game. A heavy pulled up next to me in the open, no cover. I checked after the match and he fired no shots, but was hit 5 times and destroyed.
I always write to the commanders of the clan and send a link to these videos. They players get kicked about 25% of the time and the commanders appreciate it cause they don't want cheaters in their clan.
Claus, the only answer is for independent CCs to tell players: spend NO money on this game until appropriate changes are made.
That is the no bullshit solution.

Just yesterday I came across this REALLY good SP 1C that was platooning with a german arty, prokhorovka, and he worked that 1/2 so well that he didnt get spotted until he was feasting on me and the last arty. checked his stats, account created 1/2023, 60% WR, 1,300+ battles, had a E100 2 marked with EXACTLY 100 battles, SP 1C had 33 battles w/ 61% WR (grinding i suppose), but I couldnt find a trail leading up to the E100! NOT EVEN A E75! it was the weirdest account I've ever seen. The arty he was platooned with, FULLY loaded stats 18k battles, the german arty alone had 3,400+ battles.... I was going to GG WP the SP 1C, but after reviewing those accounts I thought "Claus is on to something..."
which is why i'm here, catching up on what the cheaters ACTUALLY look like and do.

I quit playing wot over a year ago, but i still enjoy watching your videos claus. keep up the great content. hope you report the cheaters who are being boosted to their clans as well. some of the clans may not appreciate the fact that there clan members are being exposed and kick them out.
It happens so much, I give up. The "inaction bot", complaint means nothing, and being free to play, I have to grind, and overlook it now. SUX
I’ve played years of WOT, but as WG does nothing to save this game then they can go to hell. Life is too short to put up with this sort of BS. When WG start caring about its players I might come back. Great work Claus as always.

It's really sad just how often it happens, most battles are rigged these days and WG don't give a damn about this game anymore... on the contrary, I think they're in on it themselves. I just hope someday a Historical battle mode PVE will be introduced or FULL PVE so ppl can actually have fun instead of constantly getting win rate destroyed by so many cheaters/riggers who ruined the game!!! I personally refuse to play or pay anything to this company any time soon.
P.S. You are the ONLY content creator who actually tries to expose this and the only one who doesn't think everyone complaining about a broken game / MM is just paranoia.

Sucks when you are on the losing team.
Between this and the amount of players that sit in the back padding their stats, in tanks that should be at the front line, this game is getting very sad. Then they'll brag about their winrate, and how good they are, and how bad you are. To them damage > playing the role of their tank. Drives me nuts. I'm pretty sure i've come across teams like this on the NA server too.

@11:36 Claus, Claus, Claus... The free camera "mod" is more of a utility (even used in official WG competition commentating!) than it is a mod. The version a regular schmo would use is only able to be used in replays as regular schmos do not have access to spectator accounts!--needed to use the "mod" in a live game. Haha =) If it truly worries you, simply keep a separate installation of WoT for replays when recording your videos. It's as easy as that and is not anything to worry about at all. Especially since it is only used for replays!

Thank you, detective Anderson, and for all your efforts. As a clan, we do the 3-2-1 countdown on occasion it’s fun, killing each other. And I’m sure other clans do it to have fun. I am sure war gaming could catch cheaters without punishing us “regular schmucks” for just wanting to have fun.
Just like real criminals they will keep doing it because they are not afraid of the punishment . If you make the punishment severe enough, they will not commit the crimes. Caught cheating once, account deleted. That will put a stop cheating. Anyhow, rock on tankers. 🤘😎
I've seen players accounts for sale featuring tier 10 tanks with really high wn8. They included really nice premium vehicles as well.
No random, no balance, a mismatch-maker and lots of cheats.

Since WG are not responding to us, tell us that most likely they are complicit to the rigging, otherwise they would stop it. They'll lose money if they do something

I was watching a video from another channel and an ad came that was for professional match riggers. It was professionally done ad openly advertising on YT. This is not hidden in any way at all.. WG does nothing.
You can also see that it is a boosting account when looking at the average battle tier. If its 10 only that means they only play tier 10 for boosting.
I guess this is also prevalent at the lower tiers so when you see a game lost 15-1/2/3 - yes sometimes it will be a mismatch in tanks or player competence - but other times it will be a stitch up pure and simple?
Tragicloss says that this isn't that big of a problem. She says its very rare and they are dealt with pretty quickly.

Ya know all my fellow tankers on the NA, I stopped playing the NA because it has become so toxic, the SA server is starting to become this way as well, 15-4 losses 15-4 wins with no thought of balance "but" but, the SA server is not toxic. I did send a ticket in with the link to this TH-cam vid (thanks Claus), I have been here for 9 years, I have become a player of "oh F this, this is a losing night". Shouldnt be this way.
I was in this kind of battle on my t110e4. A ht, stb 1, and leopard 1 stationed themselves in 1 side of the map. Never did anything for the rest of the battle. No one is really a true unicum in this game just a bunch of cheaters. If you see someone with a suspiciously high wn8 it's probably a cheater so don't feel bad.

watching this makes me realise why some team members drive straight into death. im in shock when they continue to do so even after saying to retreat. its because they didnt team up with their game rigging group. basicially committed suicide to end game.

in the first replay, I think those people go to there to kill their client, so they win. in the second game, people don't know what happening, so they lose
Claus - you should get the Freecam mod so you can move around the map while the game goes on - then you can show what those stationary tanks are doing. Clearly on Mannerheim it was easy to see, but on Mountain Pass it was hard to see what they were doing other than they were stationary. Might help with the analysis!
Also you won't get your account banned having the Freecam mod for replays and the garage - literally doesn't effect your game play at all!
WG will never do anything to stop it. They are either behind the boosting companies or taking kickbacks from them. Why anyone continues to play this game is beyond belief.
Many other games actively seek out and ban cheaters, WG employs them.
