The same people that think there is no cheating or that it is very rare and are still spending money on the game are the same ones that think you sneakily started your channel several years ago so you could start making money years later doing videos on cheating which you don't care about. ..not all players play every day or at regular or irregular times, or only a few high tiers either, and on whichever server within a region, can also limit how often they could be able to notice rigging in a battle.
Doesn't mean it is not happening, at all but also doesn't mean it's constantly everywhere either...
I know some players use 'rigged/rigging' as an excuse for their inability to see mistakes they made in the heat of the moment battle situations that failed to be what their ego wanted to happen.

Keep up the good work Claus. I've said it before on your videos that many of us are grateful for what you've exposed and the way you keep at it. A number of members of our clan and others from clans we have close associations with are refusing to spend more money on the game until WG do something about it. We've also flooded support with tickets telling them what we're doing. It's a small step but all I can do is encourage any player who is sick of being CHEATED to join us and keep their money in their pocket until something changes. These guys are cheating all of us and it's hard to work out why so many people are still willing to pay for the privilege of being cheated when WG seem to be in it up to their necks.
Good one. Play this game for about ten years and decided not to spend any money on WG games anymore. Besides this rigging, I don't like the direction WG is going with this game.

Of course they are. Any game that can have cheats, has cheats sold by the company providing the game. It's such an easy way to monetize the game more that anybody with more than 3 working brain cells would do it.
I think so to. It's added income to them like selling over-priced in game rides, they just sell the overpriced tank through a "seemingly" outside cheat-company, when in fact there is as very good chance WG themselves are running the Cheat Boosting Companies. Otherwise, how would they get access to all the old 2012 to 2015 accounts (complete with the player's passwords to play the account) unless they had some inside involvement.
@@stevengibson2251I am sure they are, how else do they get access to inactive accounts within months of players quitting playing. I have seen them using the account of a player who had passed within the last year. after6 months inactive, his account was playing 25 to 30 games a day for over a month until an aquaintance who knew the password found out, logged in and changed the log in data. the account has been quiet for 2 weeks now
WG have access to the back end databases, they would never need to spend time usually hundreds of hours game rigging, they can easy alter any stat on any account within seconds, simple facking logic tells us its not WG, come on guys engage your brain.
W.g. employees selling access to inactive accounts to the boosters. Not actually the company implicitly rigging, but turning a blind eye to employees making some cash on the side. Or the company itself selling access to inactive accounts and adding the money to General revenue. No one said the company was rigging themselves, but how else would the boosting companies get lists of, and access to, inactive accounts?
This is just one of many reasons why I rarely play this game anymore. But I do enjoy most of your videos. I imagine you could make much more money and maybe have more followers if you didn't mention anything wrong with the game... but you're an honest guy who dislikes cheaters. Well said and I respect you for this. While it may be untrue, I would not be surprised if Wargaming is behind the cheating as they're not exactly fighting back against it.

My Account isnt a reroll. Its my main from beginning. You can see my old stats on the Stug III G. when i was a noob, i played it a lot. I tryed early to get good in the game, this is maybe why i have overall so good stats. But thank you for the video Klaus.
Also the 279 (e) Grind was so much pain. Especially the missison with 25 critical hits in 10 Battels. And yes, only the crew, ammunition or fuel tank. So inner Modules. This was so horrible to do...

Then he went on trying to explain to me what he would create and launch this program. Yes, definitely doable. The algorithm would be fairly simple. Tricky part is how quickly and aggressively you enforce. That is a business decision, just like turning a blind eye to it now.

My son is also a games designer and ok he is more into 3D environment design but between him and his friends in the industry they could fix the crop bs that is wargaming they could easily stop the cheating but then when you say that you get the pathetic kids like Homer Simpson a volunteer moderator with his pal who pretty much does not play the game anymore but gets his kicks out of being a Prof troll defending wargamming from a position of utter ignorance and downright stupidity acting like 5 year old in the playground.
These two are the typical example of the sycophants that lick the boots of wargammjng daily, just like those paying what was it 40-50 or more for a progetto46 with a fancy roman 3D skin.

I can confirm that alone this year I was messaged ingame 3times by boosting companies.
Most of those messages are scams only legit company I’ve really seen is raptor.

It’s crazy. Claus was describing the cheater blind shooting and a Team Raptor ad (Pixar quality?) popped up.
It's not Pixar quality but I've looked it up its funny Haha. That business is probably around $100k-$250k a year? my best guess.

My personal belief is that WG made the campaign tier 10 reward tanks missions so hard that only the best players would get the some of the best tanks so to increase the difference in the divide. Many of these boosting companies I suspect have close links with WG as a way of receiving extra revenue under the counter. So no corrective action taken.
Hey Claus - I usually get to your videos late in my day (east coast USA) so it's difficult to add anything new to the conversation, especially in light of commentators such as Matt and A Jo saying all the right things, but I certainly want to add my huge vote of confidence to your efforts, both in general and specifically for these anti-cheater investigations.

WG or some of their employers at least, are complicit in this. How else would the game riggers know which accounts were dormant and could be taken over for rigging purposes.
By doing the same thing claus does and checking their stats/last game played.

@@anshuldwivedi1919 or you simply search the stolen customer data from the several times WG has been hacked. Which would explain why so many of the feeder accounts are very old ones.

I can remember when the big clans were claiming they weren't rigging games so their members could get the T-22's.
Problem is made worse by some content creators who categorically deny it takes place or who just say they don't care, keep up the good work Klaus WG need to do something to prove they care about their player base

I received the same message from a different account 1 or 2 months ago. I would call this message a real evidence that this game suffers from cheating. I really appreciate your hard work about all the cheating, but unfortunately I don't thing there will be any response from WG about all this since they are deffinitely part of it. Some easy measures come to mind:
1) Restrict the Campaign mission grinds to single players only (so platoon battle results don't count). Rigging games outside a platoon is much more tricky to arrange.
2) Transfer all game rigging and cheating accounts (including aimbot users and such) to a separate server instead of deleting or suspending them. If cheaters still want to play WoT, they can, but only vs other cheaters.
We used to call these failtoons, not realizing it was game rigging. It has been going on for years. And with so many accounts dating back to 2012, etc, either someone at WG is involved or there is some way to search for abandoned accounts, and part of the business model is buying old accounts.

Earlier in the week I was watching another well known and connected CC on Twitch. Someone asked him about Game Rigging. He said that he had actually spoken to War Gaming about it and that they are now taking it seriously. He said that bans are coming and specifically mentioned that the players that "Claus has shown on TH-cam" are in the process of getting banned. Take it with a grain of salt, but this CC is pretty reliable in my opinion.

Considering how difficult it is to have a good awareness of all the stuff going on the battlefield, I‘m pretty sure, that this is a bigger problem than most of us think.
Keep it up Claus! I've seen that message about boosting companies at least a dozen times in the last month. It's happening and I believe that WG is involved and they are making big money on it. I don't play that much but there's been several games that I've had teams that had platoons that did just like these you are showing - they did nothing at all.
Coincidence that I had that Pixar add during this video, Team Raptor, what a joke of a game to allow this to go on.

Raptor ads have been on TH-cam for about a year or so I guess. They disappeared for a bit kind of around time when you started highlighting the game rigging. But they have resurfaced over last few weeks. Been playing wot since 2017 and following you skill and a few others. The Raptor ads have not been pushed to my account until 2021 or 2022, I forget.

It's great you are keeping this topic alive Claus. What I noticed is there's a 279e or chieftain in 4 battles out of 5 on average (although I'm not sure if the latter can be obtained via booster companies)
Quite often you can see the player is clueless, with a WR well below 50%.
I too have had in-game messages form boosting companies. I also saw a sponsored ad on TH-cam from a boosting company before watching one of your cheater videos... which I thought was ironically hilarious. That said, your videos/channel is great, will keep supporting and watching.
Claus, great video, and great response to the "cheating doesn't matter, it's only a few games, etc." crowd.Even a beginning programmer could write a T-SQL statement in a few minutes that would return every player with these types of battle count/wn8 stats. Good work there Claus !! Been a long time viewer I really hope you succeed in making a difference ! Like you said the money is key. I really don't know why WarGaming didn't just give the players the alternative of paying a huge sum to just buy the reward tanks or playing the hard missions to get it for "free" . There must be a money spinner in it there for someone to turn a blind eye to this stuff.
Now I haven't played WoT for maybe 2 years now and I stopped because the changes they made to the game seemed to take all the fun out of it for me.
So what I think all this points to is that revenue has dropped to a point where WG has just decided if this makes them money , well to hell with the players we want the $$$$$ .

We had 2 players account banned because we noticed game rigging and sent in the battles to WG , one of the mods was playing in one of the games and noticed some thing sus in that match . The players were farming of each other , their accounts have no activity since then .This was on the Asia server.

Hi Claus. I have started looking for 0 damage done by tanks ever though 1,2 or 3 shots fired. Last game i played there were 2 players who caused 0 damaged, one had 0 shots fired and the other 3 shots but no damage caused. BUT they were both taken out by the same tank on our team. Cheers

WG didn’t make money from team killing, if anything they lost money by banning players so they had a financial incentive to stop it. The boosting companies spend a lot of gold to rig the games so WG has little incentive to stop it.
If you believe the boosting companies get those dormant accounts from an “insider” at WG it is also not a far stretch to believe certain EU content creators are getting favorable match making. Just look how often they get a string of victories where they don’t actually contribute much to the match…

Keep it up Claus, pay no attention to the fan boys and pleaser accounts -- denial and counter-accusations are always early strategies of the guilty.
it's obvious that WG can't just sell reward tanks officially in game. so they hire/build riggers to have a "black market" to sell these OP vehicles for hundrets of bugs. it's quite obvious, otherwise they would ban cheaters.

Good work, Claus! I've seen that high quality animated ad prior to a video beginning. And, since I am one of the not so great players that are the backbone of the game, I get in game messages from boosting companies several times a month, sometimes a few a week. So even though I may not have NOTICED cheating in the game while trying to play my own game, the fact that I get an in game message tells me that the cheating companies WERE IN THAT GAME I was trying to play whether I noticed it or not. They had to be there on the playing field and saw what a putz I was. Then they decided I might want to boost my game enough to pay them money.
So - keep the pressure on!

I'd like to point out that the names turning blue isn't gone. About 3 weeks ago I tried to help a flipped STRV/UDES back on his tracks but it counted as if I was the one that killed him and my name turned blue.
The system as a whole certainly is much less used though and my name wasn't blue anymore in the following battle, it used to last for 3 to 5 battles before, didn't it?
turning blue to you does not mean your always blue to your team mates >>> did you get team killed after you turned blue ? in the old days it would turn you blue to you as much as 8 or more games but your not blue to team mates but 1 shot on team mate after you started the game as blue to you would turn you blue i have turned blue a few times after the change and only 1 time was i blue to teammates was playing arty and splashed green players or the player
just drove it to the shots i think it was 3 or 4 times in the same game did not take 1hp off any but turned blue and was team killed

I also called out Commander AF on her twitch stream about the
cheating and all she did is claim it is limited and they are working
on it. I also called out Tragic loss and other wargaming employees
who stream and they all acted like they are trying to stop the rigging
but never answer my questions on what they are doing and why nothing
is ever done when players file a complaint for cheaters and other player
misconduct and they ignore me in the chats or their chat admin blocks me.
They know it is going on and they don't care.
For to say been with you all the way Claus, keep going. As Matt says below we are with you. Let the trolls creep out of their caves now and again, they wont see the truth but will feel happy and then creep back.
These evil people think that they won't get caught. They forget about Hell and later the Lake of Fire.
I have to admit 1,008 battles with zero damage done is compelling evidence for two things: 1. There is game rigging. 2. WG is (at the very least) complicit by omission in that game rigging.
The problem is that if you call out corruption in the in-game chat, it gets you a 30 day chat ban from the WG mods. They are complicit.
I noticed the platoon antics right away. Credit to the 279e driver for noticing it and stealing that damage.
Ive been playing this game since inception as well. when these missions came out every one of my friends and clan mates where very exited , because now we actually had a chance to get a nice tank by just completing missions . Now we are all just regular shmo's , and to our surprise the missions just got harder and harder to the point that the regular player can not complete them and therefor we found it was impossible to obtain these tanks. now WG has dangled a carrot in front of regular players that is unobtainable for most of them. So the players that are prepared to pay boosting companies to get the tanks for them will pay them. So in reality only the VERY good players will get these overpower tanks and these are players with high win rates , so when me and my mates are in platoon and we see one of these OP tanks on the other team , our expectations of winning that game drop dramatically to the point that we just play so badly , go out and get killed , just so we can move on to another game where we have a realistic chance. yes I know , life is not fair , wot is not fair , but I have to hand it to these boosting companies , they found a niche to make money from a pixel game , just like WG did. so in part I think some of the blame should go to WG for introducing unrealistic expectations from players like the 279E that 95% of players will not be able to obtain.

Surely in every couple battles I notice tanks that don't move, I write a message "report the bot", and usually I get negative responses like "we'll report you" "you're boring" "it happens regularly" ... Ok.
I reported 2 platoons for rigging with a chiefftain to WG .
I sent the replay + screenshot and they said that the in-game report System does it job...
WG became a shitshow money-draining company.
You mention that this has been going on for about a year which coincides with when wargaming pulled out of Russia and licensed use of the game to a 3rd party.

I recognize one name. I met that The Object 140 account "Ignak_is_kozak" some time ago. It was shortly after Claus started posting videos of cheats. I then started paying attention to plattons which do not shoot or move at all.
In one of my games all players in a cheating platoon had "_is_Kozak" in their names. I even sent a replay to WG.
"Pixar quality ad, I could not produce that ad, do you know how much it would cost to produce that ad? ...."
Claus then interrupted by TH-cam inserting that very ad into his video. You could not make this shit up if you tried.
I am pretty sure I submitted a ticket to support in 2014 about a boosting company posting ads in game chat. It has existed for years and I knew a player that submitted a account for this service and his account got jacked, he lost everything on his account. All his doubloons were spent on tier 2 tank premium ammo.
Well done Claus , i hope wg stops this madness or they just plane create a new game .

The single biggest grudge against you from the NA server is that "none" of your vids have come from the NA server, and that you yourself have never caught one case of rigging. They also insist that rigging MOE does not statistically raise the bar for other players trying to MOE via honest play. How do you respond to all that ?

As always Claus, another excellent video. There is no way I am spending any more money on the game. It's bad enough that WG wants to change our crew training when it was not something the player base was requesting, but to ignore the game rigging cheaters just illustrates it's focus is on the dollar. During Christmas I played with a boosters, doing some MoE. I had 2 battles AFK (internet connection problem), the 3rd battle that day and I got a warning from WG: In order of another afk battle i will get a penalty - ban 1 or more days... So I guess justice and WG are blind.
I found about 8 players with 2 different names. I didn't think much about it. But know that you pointed out. I called out one player for cheating and he had no answer...he just stop messenging me.
So there is alot of game rigging happening right before our very on eye's. Thank's Claus for showing these type of video's maybe WG will do something about it.

I don't play the game anymore, but I remember seeing once in a while just platoons in my games that do nothing. I thought it was just really bad players together playing. If I ever play again, I might take a closer look, like you.

OMG while watching this a damned TeamRaptor ad played and no shit that is high-quality animation. But what got me more is these guys actually have the gall to SHOW THEIR FACES in the ad, like they are proud of the company they have created!! Normally I would not care but when you have teammates on your team doing NOTHING, it adversely affects the rest of the team. Since they so brazenly advertise, WG is either ignorant or knows and does nothing about it and takes their money and happily looks the other way. Shameful either way. Thank you for calling this out.

This is going on for years now. I stopped playing WoT roughly 2 years ago after seeing more and more "players" doing nothing in games. Back then i thought they were just bots until claus started this series. Now i think about maybe comming back when this is solved
Good job. It is dumbfounding when folks, who are presented with the data that proves the exploits and cheating, refuse to accept the truth.
For me all points towards WG doing this as a side gig. Their silence on the matter, in game ads, access to dead accounts and now this ad budget. This whole game just became scam in a scam.
I always figure someone at the game's company is making money off of cheating, thus the cheating isn't addressed.
