Thank you so much for this. I experience all this and more. Especially the crazy weight gain, dizziness, and my anxiety is thru the roof. The information you shared helps me to know I’m not going crazy.
Thanks Kari for your videos! I have learned so much. I’m one day less than 2 months away from being 1 year without a period. I’m praying I can go that far. I’m soooooo ready to be done with them forever, after dealing with endometriosis and very painful periods for the majority of my life. Had endometriosis surgery in 2015, and thank God haven’t had any major issues since then. This is time number 4 trying to go a year, so I’m soooooo ready. I know all the symptoms may not go away right away, but getting rid of periods permanently is a step in the right direction.
62 years old and going through another hit. Awful dizziness, anxiety (seems) to have eased. Head pressure The itching, oh my, tickly skin, only ever in upper back and around tummy area. Shivers, as well as the hot spells. Alli in all, it is miserable. Doctors so dismissive it's menopause related, cost reasons? Not sure The ever widening range of symptoms is truly unbelievable. Kari Ann - you are a life saver! ❤
Hello... I'm experiencing everything you spoke about and more... Some are constant and some come in waves... Have some new ones, pain in chest, burning mouth and throat, blurry vision, headaches, muscle aches, itchy skin, dry and painful eyes... And the list goes on... I'm just 34yrs and constantly confused when the doctors check me and say I'm fine... Tnx Kari for creating awareness for all women.
Don't let doctors tell you perimenopause can't start in your 30s...that's when I started, and not realizing my countless symptoms were due to perimenopause at the time, it was so scary not knowing what was going on. Praying you find a good doctor soon 💜
In perimenopause here. The eczema I had before puberty has come back and taken over my entire body, even my eyelids! Hot flashes every 30 to 45 minutes. This isn't fun. Thank you for making me feel like I'm NOT ALONE!
My eyelids have been crazy itchy the past few weeks. I didn’t even consider perimenopause. I’m at just over 10 months without a period. One day shy of 2 mos to go!
Reduce wheat flour and diary alcohol and moisturising daily and drink lots of warer i have it too it really helps we now more sensitive to allergens again.❤
Thank you for this!! ❤️❤️This really is reassuring and confirming. At 55 I am in perimenopause and for the last year I have felt like I’ve been playing whack-a-mole with my health. The most bizarre and strange symptoms across the board will surface one after another and I just feel so frustrated and at a loss.!! this makes me feel better knowing that there could be a reason for all of this craziness going on. I’m trying to look at it as an interesting adventure, where I never know what’s going to happen new each day.😂😂
Each and every one of them is spot on! It brought back memories😂😂😂 down to the frozen shoulder. I remember I went to an orthopedic & perimenopause didn't cross his mind at all. Kari's videos are invaluable!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!
I just love your videos Kari ❤ Helps ease health anxieties and helps us to not feel so alone in this transition. I have me/cfs and fibromyalgia. With added arthritis. Triple whammy for me 🤷 Then add about 95% of the perimenopause symptoms. Yay me! 🙄 I was blessed with an emergency hysterectomy 2 years ago do to uterine fibroids that would make me bleed to near death every single month. No lie. Iron Infusion after infusion with it's horrible side effects, is all over now. I kept my ovaries. But, perimenopause is reaching a new level of frequency and intensity. 😢 About 2.5 weeks out of the month, I am 95% bedridden. Then top it off with headaches and migraines. So I may get a week of feeling well enough to power house and clean my apartment the way I like it. Never that bad but I am obsessed with organizing and cleaning. But hey, I'm not bleeding anymore right 😂 OMG! I just realized I am a Chatterbox today LOL so sorry for the 3 long books 😂❤❤
I used to get like a buzzing sensation in my feet and hands for years in peri. Now, i know it was internal tremor. Wish all this information had been out when I was going through that 20 years back.
Post menopause here 7+ years , suffered all of these and most improved except I still struggle with body temperature, either freezing or hot back and forth it was mid 50s here and driving to store I had to put the air on.. crazy, and still itchy everywhere this video reminds me I need a backscratcher
I had frozen shoulder years ago & recently learned that's a sign of perimenopause. At 45 my temperature is fluctuating I'm hot, but not a hot flash. Then hours later I'm cold and have to put on a jacket when the temperature of my environment hasn't changed.
I‘m 48 now and for sure in Perimenopause. About 2 years ago it started with fluffiness of my belly though there was no change in daily life neither in eating nor sports. About the same onset there were mood swings (more irritability) and brain fog. Sleep became poorer: I woke up more frequently, sometimes with a higher heartrate, feeling warm (but not sweaty), sometimes wide awake at once. My bladder is dysfunctional during the cycle, maybe it’s an expression of PMS as well als water retention and constipation before period. Period was always in time but now begins to get irregular. Feeling bloated when it‘s missed all the time, it’s an ugly body feeling. Constitution changes with very irritating digestive symptoms such as diarrhea or urgent need to empty the bowels (I even thought there could be a malignant process). Sometimes there is loss of appetite or even (light) nausea and often extreme exhaution. Maybe even a phase of dizziness correlates to perimenopause. Luckily I don’t deal with pain too much (sometimes I feel that joints and muscles are triggered more easily). My skin and my hair became thinner, the texture of my hair changed and there seems more tendency to inflammation (especially during PMS.). ADHS symptoms got worse, too. I started with supplementing Vitamin D, the B-complex and Magnesium and also take agnus castus. Symptoms got slightly better but I‘m thinking of HRT. Maybe Collagen would help, too (where can I get yours in EU-/German Onlineshops?) And how did you manage to lose that much weight?
@@bumblebee9065 I left you the discount affiliate link for Germany under your other comment. One of the collagens also helps with weight loss and body composition. I use it myself. It’s a thought since you’re asking about collagens and concerned with changes in weight.
Other than night sweats, I've suffered with all the symptoms before perimenopause because of childhood trauma, and now that perimenopause is here, the symptoms are magnified. It's so hard to get through each day when I just wanna curl up in the corner and hide 😢😅
I just stopped wearing them & went to singlets, I didn't realise why. They just drove me up the wall. Now I know why. 8 yrs later ive started wearing them again.
