- Join us as we head to Joyland Children's Fun Park in Great Yarmouth! In this vlog we experience all of the major rides at this small amusement park located on the seafront. We share on ride POV's from the Snails, Tyrolean Tub Twist, Spook Express and many more awesome attractions! Along with that we head onto the nearby Britannia Pier for a ride on the Ghost Train!

I think this might be one of the most unintentionally hilarious vlogs I've ever seen- the faces on those snails, Charlotte reacting to the tub ride like it's her own personal SAW trap, Shawn getting literally pushed around a ghost train by some bloke... absolutely brilliant, what a day :,D
We had such a good time!
Its like me and you had the exact same childhoods as a kid growing up in the midlands
Another memory from the past. Used to have our end of season Rugby club bashes there in the seventies. The coach always got us there too early and the only things open, were the 'Greasy Spoons' and the very dreadful waxworks near the 'Pleasure Beach'!

As an adult I am lucky enough to have been to theme parks like Disney, In both LA and Florida, same with Universal. Plus the great coasters in six flags in LA. But you can’t beat these quirky little parks. Your vlog has brought back so many great memories of my childhood. I used to holiday in Great Yarmouth as a kid every year, my brother and I used to love the little park you went in, we loved the snails and what we called the spinning tubs lol.
Absolutely love the smaller classic parks just as much as the big parks! They’ve got so much charm about them!
I have so many childhood memories of Joyland and it has not changed over the past 20+ years. The snails, Tubs, Jet Cars, Neptune's Kingdom and Spook Express are all still here! 😀
The snails and Neptune's Kingdom are my favourite rides there!

Those snalis are great I used to go on those when I was a kid at the main pleasure Park I remember the big giant aswell that used to stand over Yarmouth

Best vlog yet! Went back to Joyland this year for the first time since I was a kid, and took my 7 yo. She absolutely loved the snails and tubs like I did as a kid. Joyland deffo needs some hedge trimmers though!

May be because it was 20 odd years ago but I swear the rocket cars used to go much much quicker! Can't wait to get back to Yarmouth in a year or so when my son is old enough to take on these rides!!

Joyland is perfect for the kids, and it hasn't really changed that much. (other than replacing the space ship with the coaster) i do remember a magic carpet ride once which was good. But those Jetcars are a bit naff, they seem so slow

We stayed in the Premier Inn last year. It’s well placed for the Pleasure Beach but it’s quite a walk to Britannia Pier!
We were on the Ghost Train in BPB when it broke down and had to walk through it to get out, creepy as it's supposed to be haunted! Same on Valhalla but got to go round again after walking down the fire exit stairs outside then back on at the station to the confused faces in the queue!

Did you used to watch Budgie the Little Helicopter and Tweenies as a kid as I remember the Tweenies show from 2003-2005 at Alton Towers? It’s like when I went on Spinball Whizzer at Alton Towers when it was Sonic, 9 years ago as it stopped and I rode it again after that. Anyway, make sure you and Charlotte get out there and keep on riding. 😊

We've been to a diner that's near Joyland in Great Yarmouth and we got some vouchers for Joyland but we gave them to another family as we didn't want to go.

When me and my daughter went on them spinny cups a few weeks ago I thought they were incredibly uncomfortable, Saw at Thorpe park is much smoother 🤓

Saw is a rollercoaster the tubs are not really in the same league. Besides the tubs were built in something like 1948 . My grandparents came from Norwich so used to go regularly to Yarmouth.

I was fortunate to ride the Reel at BPB, it was amazing albeit a bit rough as it was on its last legs. BPB bring back the Virginia Reel🎢
