    Love the Grand highlander would be epic to turn into a nice little tiny camper on wheels , could easily build a raised platform over wheel well area on one side for a mattress, have storage underneath. and add a small platform or small cabinets on other side for storage with a pull out at end by back hatch to place a coleman stove or the like . hang fairy lights around the inside for lighting. and use a extendable curtain rod up at ceiling behind front seats going side to side for privacy at night. buy screen for the windows attached with velcro inside to allow air in if window is open a crack. also room between front and back seats for a power station to plug things into .thanks for the info.

      I have had my Grand Highlander hybrid limited for about a month and camped inside the car once. Once you have flattened the 2nd and 3rd seats, it can sleep for two with a 4" form mattress super comfortably. However, it's not a Sienna. The things you imagined don't work because none of the seats is removable (airbags, battery, heating element for the 2nd row seats, etc.). We have to move our ice chest to the front passenger seat in order to sleep for two. Westhertech has a window covering kit that covers all the windows for Grand Highlanders. It's expensive but nice. The only problem is that the windshield cover's measurements are way off. Hope they will come up with an updated one. BTW, I have the panoramic sunroof. Buy a bug screen with magnetic strips. Open the sunroof a little and cover the opening with the screen from outside. It's better and stealth.

    I test drove the 2024 and it was the limited. Pros it drove so nice I loved it!! The cons no camera in rear view mirror and no sun roof which this isn’t a cheap vehicle and you aren’t getting those features.

      Legitimate 👍 yeah the camera in the rearview I can see as being a really high-end vehicle feature but the optional moonroof on something like a limited is pretty unfortunate. If I’m not mistaken, it’s about a $2000 option.

    Does xle model have back up sensor ? Does it beep when approaching obstruction? I am not able to find clear answer anywhere. Thanks

      Hello, to get backup sensors you need to go for the limited/ platinum trims

      @@Erikzapp in Canada Limited does not come in 8 seats configuration…that’s the issue

      @@neerajsingh-dd9jh unfortunately not, most of my viewers are from the US so I included US specs however we faced the same issue here in Canada when getting our GH. Had to go with XLE for bench seats. There is also no FWD option in canada

      I have an XLE; it does warn of approaching traffic when in reverse.

      Does not have sensors though

    Not worth the extra money. Grand Highlander doesn't stand out visually on the road. The exterior of the car looks too much like the smaller and cheaper RAV4.

      Interesting view! I like the GH more but mainly due to space. The standard highlander XSE looks better tho imo and very sporty

    I hope you’re not another Toyota fanboy. Toyota is far from the reliability it used to produce and it’s just living off its name. If you think a 4-cyl turbo will be as reliable as the old 3.5 v6, I have some snake oil for sale.

      Haha no I am not at all. I’m into high end euro and Italian cars. However, I do like the GH and tbh it’s been what’s help get my channel off the ground. I have a video “5 things I hate” about the GH and the engine is one of them

    Toyota interior quality sucks... Modern day cars are pretty much better than average so why pay and get less on Toyota..

    • @Erikzapp
      @Erikzapp  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The interior quality is usually lacking, here in the GH though it is nicely finished. However, there are some loose trims around the centre arm rest/ drive mode selection
