i had the 1250.1 few years ago...in my opinion, it was the best amp i ever owned...i still have the 900.4 i only used it for few days and disconnected back in 2009. i stored it ever since.
That's really cool! Notice you set the bass boost at 40Hz and I'm sure there was no reason for that, right? Kicker can do under 40Hz, right??

Wish I had the answer for you, but I will say you can call Kicker tech support and they’ll be able to tell you
I've got (2) 900.4's a 700.4 and had a 1250.1 but sold it a few years ago. My plan is to use the 900.4's for my 8" midbass and horns.
Used to have a guy at kicker that could get factory blemished amps of this style back in 03/04 never could get the bigger amps just the 2/300 watt ones. But at 25 bucks each wasn’t complaining

I've had the SX1250.1 amp for over 12 years. I had this installed in my 97 Maxima, pushing 2 12's in a ported box, then I had it in my Mazda CX-7, 2009 Chevy Impala, 2015 Kia Forte, 2007 Nissan Altima, 2001 Acura TL, 2015 Chevy Cruz, and now it is installed in my 2021 Kia K5 GT. I absolutely love this amplifier and it has never given me any issues over the years! It is still going strong!
Got me a new amp wounding if you might want to test/dyno it I can mail it it's a critical mass c4800 or a cm-aue1500.4 up to you just trying to help the channel and cant find anything on one.

do you know how to take the cover off? i got one and it has no audio and the power and ground is shorted and i can’t seem to take the top cover off
I just started taking bolts out until I got to the point where I decided I didn’t wanna dig in that far for the video

I bought one of these amplifiers at a yard sale about a year ago. I never even hooked it up until a couple days ago and just my luck it has a lock code on it. Anyone know how to get a master reset code or any way to unlock? Or did I just waste 40 dollars?
I don’t gotta clue how you could get that off, but I bet you there is a way buried deep in a forum somewhere
@@HifiVega yeah the kicker website said ya gotta call with your original receipt and proof of purchase. I guess it's a good thing though because what good is a security measure if they just give the key away. Thanks for responding. I love the old school content btw 👍
