Just got my front row.. brand new.. all plastics on.. none of the tape were tampered with... just the box tape cut.. 250 bucks... ebay.. everyone else wanted 450.. 400 no knob... im going to run 3 cxa amps.. with kicker 12-inch downfiring sub..
Great video, do you have the popkng problems when you turn off the car because I just install yesterday and I notice a lot of people have the same problem
It only happens when listening with the car off then starting the car. I can't remember if that means it's cutting on and off before or after the amps are.
I’m in love with this dsp, are you using full range signal for the sub??as soon I change from my sub out of my head unit to a full range the sound of the subwoofer change a lot and now the shockwave is working with old songs and corridos
What if you use the 47keyloc from factory to sub.. use the Front Row for Tweeter fronts.. Mids rear... and kick panels up front.. 4 inch or so speakers on the bottom center console. .. for sub.. on the Front Row? .. that way your center would be the 4 inch.. under your feet.. also adding a richer bass from rear to front... Soundstage.. from the Front Row?
The tweeters and mids will work on a basic idea of.. we need to drown out the Subwoofer which is a 12trtpt downfiring sub.. its going to rumble.. but the mids and highs with the Front Row will give people on the outside as youre driving by... what is that.. i still hear it.. and as you drive by.. it doesnt distort.. sometimes you just here knock.. not vocals or the filling with the mids.. I have sound deadener i want to apply.. i have enough for the entire trunk side walls.. even the back Hatch... i want to do an old school set up... Up front factory.. but when i open the hatch.. Display.. i have 3 cxa amps.. 1 cxa800.1.. for downfiring sub.. 2 cxa360.4.. 1 for highs... 1 for mids... i want to recreate a deli counter display... but i want the entire display as one piece... that i may be able to disassemble if i sell the vehicle.. @kewincolon6290 .. what popping problems?
I used it in my setup. Kenwood 9703HU, RF 300X4, 500.1, Kicker components and Sub. It really help the center imaging. The surround effect on movies works well. The SHOC works great on old 80's rock music adding deep bass. It is viable with all the cheap DSP's available ? I think so. I'll still be using it in my new setup.

Alpine cde-265bt Rf p1000x1bd RF p600x4 Polk mm (4) Sundown x8 The alpine has a 9 band eq and crossovers with slope adjustments but i was thinking the front row may do all that stuff better being thats its only job (a dedicated crossover) the alpine is a great hu though

I'm using the sub out on the HU but it is set to 160, then use the crossover on the Front Row set at 70hz.

Is this useful in a high end modern stereo set up? Or its mainly for oem head units?
