The barras sound like a mix of the rb and 2jz, and are amazing. Those Aussies are crazy.
The design of the Barra is similar to the RB motor but is much larger being 4.0L (244ci). I call it the RB40 for trolls and lols. 😉😁

@@MafiaboysWorld the Barra's dna goes back to the Ford Thriftpower 6 from the 60's. The RB bore spacing (centres) is 96.5 whereas the Barra is 103.65. The RBs except the 20 have an 86mm bore the Barra 92.26mm bore. They also have the exhaust and inlet on the opposite side and run a timing chain . So how are they the same?

Watch the thickness measured (around 4.5mm each), the fact that each piston is on its own like the RB is, not siamese like a 2JZ. 👍 Yes, the block is based on the Thriftpower originally, but it was taken and evolved in so many different ways from that original deisgn, from Thriftpower to CrossFlow, then Intech (and Intech VCT), then finally Barra.

I mean, you can get them here in the US legally, through a company known as LeftHandUtes. They’re located in Colorado and they basically take the US equivalents of the Holden’s and the Ford Falcon and import the parts needed to convert them legally. They are kind of pricey but the option is there to get one

Sure we can, you need to buy it and convince others they should buy it. The GTO was a bit disappointing but they did improve it to hopefully improve sales, but Americans are too convinced of things on first blush, so they complain, tell others they are stupid for buying it, etc. When it's announced they are stopping production, everybody wants to throw GM under the bus. GM gives you another chance by giving you the Holden Commodore, but again it didn't sell in great numbers. So you' ve had your chance, same with the Focus ST and Fiesta ST. in the land of cheap gas, people want SUV's and Trucks, not sedans and sport compact cars.
@@dj4monie Our commodore is their Poncho dude. I don't think it's shape Was The problem. More Pontiac lost its appeal. Perhaps because many of the models range is 4cyl?? Or gm guys think it's still a poncho and snub there noses, like we did with the Lexon (VN). Or the English HB torana we rebadged.

Australia rocks only in certain states for example in NSW Sydney if you tint your windows more then 30% your probably get a 2000$ ticket and most likely lose your license

I drove a right hand drive Mitsubishi daihatsu at work for years, it was a manual...and my daily driver was a left hand drive manual. I actually liked the right hand drive manual more...just felt more natural pulling gears back towards you.

In the car community, Australian’s are known for being the best in the word at burnouts. Period. There’s a reason they named a style of burnout (literally called the Australian Burnout) after them. Only they could master the combination of drifting while doing a straight line burnout at the exact same time. If you havent seen an Australian Burnout, look it up here on TH-cam. It’s amazing to watch.

Sam Boofle Barra is the i6 engine, not the Falcon body it sits in. The FG Falcon come with a Supercharged Coyote and that went alright too. I have FG Falcon Barra Turbo as is turbo and the better handing of the lighter Barra is my preference.

Exactly same here in Melbourne mate, i cant believe the highway patrol didnt rock up after the first skid! Any of those boys got caught they are looking at instant impoundment and mandatory 12 months loss of license! Huge risks taken and it was all to entertain Kyle and the 1320 subscribers making the skids even more impressive.
