I love what you did to the blade. I don't have the balls for something like that! I did however take the torsion bar out of my 0350ts and I love it 200% more. Good job so thanks for sharing. ;)
Yes with the back spine even with the front to back axis of the knife. The reverse tanto/swedge would then be higher meeting the even spine. the front reverse swedge would be flat and not an arc Have you tried loosening all screws, exerting pressure on the blade so its against the opposite side the tighten all screws, pivot last.
+Angel Vicente Haha, yeah it turned out great! Still have it, still carry it, still a unique piece that's not just like every other 0350 out there. One of my favorite blades.
Nice work, seems like I may have to hit Dave up and get me a blem to do the same although I would like to have a reverse tanto version. I will have to try removing the torsion bar too
I know this is an old video but I enjoyed it just the same. I recently received an 0350 from a buddy and thought about doing the same thing to the blade
Thanks for posting this. I've been modding most of my knives to make them fit ME for years now. I'm tired of the purists condemning knife mods. I just ordered my 0350 blem from kershawguy. Now im even more excited to get it!!!
You watch the whole video? Right after the 1 minute mark I mention dipping the blade in water after every pass on the belt sander to keep the temperature down. A general rule of thumb is, if it's too hot to hold with your bare hand, then you're getting the steel too hot. And yeah, you can easily ruin a knife's HT by just going at it with a grinder and such.

Nice job...I honestly thought that you would f**k it up, but that's definitely an improvement on the knife.

I am very impressed with 360 grind. Please think about it.
Hey how much would you charge to mode the blade on my NIB 350?
does the heat from grinding the swedge off fuck with the heat treating? like cutting and it gets way too hot then softens
