I’d like to see how it does cutting wood. I’d also like to see how different thicknesses of Kevlar cord cut. I have some 100# and some 550#, but would like to know what’s best for cutting through wood.
I wanted to see if it's difficult to cut the kevlar. Everybody is saying to use it for prepping and it's like? what if it's a huge pain in the ass to cut to length?
Instead of using gloves put a couple toggles in the end of cord. Such as a stick or just a piece of brass rod. 4" pieces of rod would be good, shorter might work also but just see what works best.
Actuallly, I've heard that Kevlar used for building ropes isn't too easy of an idea to perfect, because the material is TOO hard....the fibers abrade each other to the point of failure, eventually. Problem is, it's difficult to tell when they've had enough, till they snap. In some safety gear, where it's used as stitching, the threads won't stretch and bear the load equally. The one lone shortest stitch can bear the load, but once it snaps, the rest go.
Like a normal cut or to friction cut the kevlar? It can cut like normal cordage with a knife or scissors, it's more resistant to abrasion but not a knife's edge.
0.036 wtf who uses that as a real world measurement. That's as dumb as my father who, one day put up an order with measurements in thousandths, knowing our tape measure was millimetres and fractions of an inch. But what annoyed me was, I knew that the customer didn't didn't ask for it that way... Stupid way to run a a business, that is asking for a mistake.

Can it cut another piece of Kevlar cord?
I was hoping to see it go against some more substantial materials.
Do i need Thiner or Thicker line to cut wood branches?

Get an old door knob and see if you can cut a handle off as if you were locked in a room.
Can you test it’s abrasion against granite, please.? I’m curious how strong it is against scraping the surface of granite while rock climbing.
I don't have any scrap granite to test it on unfortunately.

will it cut steel rope
will it cut bone ?

Copper pipe
Ypur doing it wrong brother bcuz ur creating friction with kevlar cord.. y dont you trying kevlar with something
