My mother bought that book for me 10 years ago when I was in HS when it first came out, now I'm 27 and I can say it's helped me a lot 😊

I can't find my book so I'm going to buy it again. I bought it a long time ago when it 1st came out and enjoyed it a lot.

Some may call it bashing Steve. I really like the brother. But would his book or advice have so much weight,if he didn't have celebrity status. Some of his advice is just common sense. Most women buy books,men don't buy books.(on regular basis). Would the same advice be valuable? If it came from a husband or the everyday guy.

When you get older and wiser and learn by the mistakes.
And become to know a lot more about men and relationships.
You learn who to trust or not.
And you know within the first five minutes max hour if the person is worth dating or not of meeting the person.
Trust me you know.
I work it out like a job interview with in five to 15 minutes.
After which I don't take the person on.
Sorry but true.
It's the only way, for me. Saves feelings later on.
I just believe in God
And God shows me the way and made me wiser.

Cook as a few times a week.
Help keep the house clean .
Raise the family.
And love us the max , the way you want to be loved . And you can't really go wrong.

Wrong, he speaks only for himself as a man. He may be funny, but that book will have women being single for a very long time. His value set was for his generation. The generation of men today have a completely set of values.

@@chanyisme This generation of men value marriage far less, almost not at all. Why, because there's no benefit for men in marriage. That whole provide and profess, certainly not. These days men understand it takes two incomes in the house hold. The things in his book will not work for the vast majority of women with men.
@@GuruShawn I'm not too sure about any of what you said. You say this generation of men, which generation? Millennials? Because the ones I meet still have the same views as said in Steve's book. They want a woman who they can provide for. A woman who shows them they need them and not just want them. I guess I'm not dating the generation you're talking about.
@@chanyisme unless that book has resulted in you being married versus still counting the number of first dates you've had this conversation is mute. The other guys I know have stopped dating women for trying to use the tactics in the book.

You still haven't said which generation you are speaking of? Because the millennial men(some Gen X) I have met and dated have the views and values that Steve mention in his book. You say "this generation" has a different set of values than the men in Steve's generation, but I'm telling you that the men I have met don't. You say that this generation of men understand that it takes 2 incomes in the household, but I'm telling you that the men I meet would rather that the woman stays home and take care of the home and kids while they provide. That has been my experience.
