Nice. Yeah I love the Soulfully stuff too. I just bought the Soulfully boxed set a couple of months ago...waited until the price dropped on Amazon. It was originally over $200, got it for $120.
Rude Awakening is my favorite of their albums, but love everything they released through 2000. Lost track of them about then. I do have a couple of their later albums, and liked them when I got em, but never really listen to them.
Awesome stuff. Every record is killer. I love intruder. Super underrated band. I agree nobody talks about them enough. I've got one of their albums featured on my underrated '80s thrash bands videos. I really loved the new Overkill record. To me, it's exactly what I've loved about overkill for years. It's just the same type of stuff straight up in your face. Good thrash metal
I'm sure with a few more listens I'll get into the Overkill...just wasn't feeling it the first couple of spins. Could have just not been feeling it that day. You going to see Cavalera on Saturday?
Kill ‘em all is one of the greatest metal albums of all time but I think the whole Dave Mustaine thing has been like a festering sore. I’m not into Metallica anymore but I love Megadeth! But I did find a Metallica Boot recently I really like - Masters of Puppets reunion arena Dallas 1989
Yeah, I agree. Kill Em All is my second favorite behind Ride the Lightning. I really love No Life Till Leather and other early demos. They were so much more aggressive with Dave in the band in those early recordings.

Was jammin that Chaos AD reissue the other day too, love that album, love some of early Soulfly stuff for the same reason with the tribal influence.

Saw Prong on the Prove You Wrong tour, they were so tight and aggressive. They were so good- I dig all prong, even their newer records.
