I did not even realize Girlschool were still out there, cool that you got to see them. I have listened to the new Alcatrazz a few times online. I have a lot of the early Joe Stump instrumental and band stuff (with Mike Vescera). I like Doogie White on vocals too, especially after getting used to him with Schenker a bit. Cool stuff all around.

Thanks Jeff. Alcatrazz sounded great, but honestly I would rather see the Graham Bonnet version of the band, though Joe was great. It's just funny being called Alcatrazz when the keyboard player is the only original person in the band. Ultimately it's just me being a snob because I had a great time at the show, hahaha.

Awesome update Steve!! Tons of great stuff! Glad to hear the new Girlschool lp is good! That Holocaust 7” looks cool!
And yes you know me well, I’m a sucker for the RnR sounding metal! Haha! Spider, best band from Liverpool!
Very cool you got a copy of that Vardis single!!! In my top three along with Spider and Tank!
Great batch of records you showed!! Cheers!!!

Yeah, Holocaust is one band where you can't really go wrong...everything of theirs that I've grabbed has been great. The Vardis was a great score...I need to get their albums now. I have the live debut, but want to get the first couple of studio albums as well. Az good as the singles?

Right on Steve.... Those damn rabbit holes. Interesting stuff here. Never got into the Spider stuff . Just a tad too boogie woogie for my tastes. A touch is cool but they sounded like a cut-rate 70s Krokus to me. .. cant go wrong with Tygers singles... get the Hellbound single and make sure it includes the audition tapes 7inch🔥. Those sledgehammer singles are nice also get their full length record ( it's called blood on their hands) solid stuff u will spin often. Dude......the streams are fine but yours and Jons stand alone vids still fucken rule. 🔥🔥

Yeah, with all of the live streaming I've gotten pretty lazy with the videos. Thanks for the heads up on the double 7" version of Hellhound, I just ordered it and a few others from a cat in Sweden. I have their first 7" in the mail from the UK right now.

Hey Steve, great to see you showing some 7" singles, for me I tend to draw the line at 1984 for NWOBHM, after that it's pretty much done, and generally accepeted as Metal. I need to start making videos again myself and show some NWOBHM 45s, always good to see what others have, and spark my interest into other bands I may not have come across yet.
    Cheers

You should definitely start making videos again...we need more folks showing NWOBHM. There is a lot of hidden NWOBHM gems out there too.

If you are not familiar with Joe Stump, check out his 1998 album “Rapid Fire Rondo” all I can say is “holy crap”

Super cool stuff buddy. Man I hadn't even heard of a couple of those bands. Once again you're putting me on to some new bands. Ha. Cheers buddy. Hope you are well

That's the best and worth part of these videos and friendships. You find some great discussions and killer new music, but then you go broke trying to get everything. At least you go broke with a smile, hahaha.

@@harmlessrebel868 that's the truth buddy. I just made the stupid decision I wanted to get all of my older obscure 80's thrash CDs on vinyl. Now I'm looking at shelling out a kings ransom for em. I might need to rethink this one. Haha

Yeah, but it's a great rabbit hole. Saxon and Uriah Heap were killer, glad I got to see that show.
