This video goes straight to my heart. Not fair, I need places like those here in Florida. The only Venezuelan arepas that I tried here, no le hacen honor al sabor de las arepas que yo recuerdo. Finally I wanted to ask, how do they make those arepas? Best thing I can find here is "Harina Pan" and they don't taste the same. Do they actually made them out of ground corn? Thanks for taking me on a arepa-ritual tour. Can you let me know the names of those places you visited and tell me in your opinion which was the best? I would love to go when visiting NYC. I love your content and keep it up the good work. Ps: Greeting for Chris. I think he is funny and I like seeing in front of the camera too.
-Maracucho En Miami

Mamita: "Queso ripeao = "Queso Rayado" ... We DO have a word for that.
Dude i just discovered you and I’m freaking hooked. I totally get you. Btw a Colombian arepa IS an arepa. Moving on, I completely relate to how you feel in regards to 100% being a new thing. The older I get the harder it is to answer the question “where are you from”. I’m Venezuelan colombian but I’ve lived in the US for most of my life. Anyway your friend takes your funny to a whole new level 🙌🏻
i was about to cry 'cause of Joanna missing home.... thank god Glo burped loudly and we all came back........ jajaja
Arepas is good but cachapas though
As a Cuban that's my favorite Venezuelan food. There's a place in San Francisco with good cachapa con pabellón and it's amazing
cachapas are the best!!!!
Where is this place?!

PAPELON CON LIMÓN BIEN FRÍO!! THAT'S ICONIC!! JUST LIKE "EL AMOLADOOOR"
I loved the video. I never had an arepa before but I’m so in the mood for one. Going to research for a good spot in NYC.
Simon Bolivar is the guy they found important enough to name their airport after.
I am missing home too. I felt like I was eating with you guys at the same time. You made this video so natural, gracias pana.
I'm extremely jealous of this video and it's making me REALLY hungry 😭😭😭😭😭.
Here are some restaurants that have Venezuelan food in LA . Hope this lists helps 👍🏽

Ruby Martinez thanks for the list, I moved from NYC to LA and didn’t know we had Venezuelan places to eat. I was making arepas at home.
Amo la arepa como no tienes idea. Te adoro Joanna . Saludos desde Anaco Anzoátegui Venezuela
As an extremely proud Colombiana eating arepas for breakfast as I’m watching this video, I feel slightly attacked 😂
I love arepas, my family is from Cucuta, Colombia-venezuela border so the last time I went to a Venezuelan place and tried an arepa I feel like the guy in ratatouille remembering his childhood 😌 beautiful, delicious. I live in New york and definitely will visit the places in this video, by the way I admire you a lot and love all your videos, you are so smart, funny and inspirational...abrazos, espero conocerte algún día ❤🇻🇪🇨🇴

¡Me encantó este video! And now I want Venezuelan arepas and I want to go to Venezuela. It would be my first time for both. Greetings from LA.
When she said "Pariguayo" I just thought "Paraguayo"
Esto debería ser una película......!!!! Que genial el vídeo

Cocada is life, I'm sorry but it's true
This is one of my favorites! I love arepas and i lo ve you for making this vídeo, Falto la malta fría :D

Juancho Corleone JOANNA MAKE THIS HAPPEN.
My go- to arepa is Pabellon , I love the plátano maduro 😍😍😍Ugh, this video made me so hungry ...
Colombian Arepas are the best breakfast ever with just a couple of scrambled eggs, liver with onions and a "recalentao de frijoles". Venezuelan Arepas are good as a little lunch actually.
The árepa is venezuelan, sorry for you.
@@rigobertobriceno4435 Arepa originated from the territory of the great Colombia, which later divided into Venezuela and Colombia. So, technically it belongs to both.
