Colombia and Venezuela used to be one whole country (and other countries too, but not important right now) called "LA GRAN COLOMBIA," which technically makes the Arepas be originally from both countries, but since the country had Colombia in the name in the first place, then we have the right to say that they are from Colombia.

Like in every wedding theirs like 3 type of rice(arroz con cebolla,arroz con gandules y arroz chino). 2 type of meat(pernil y pavo). 3 different salad(la ensalada de papa, la de coditos y la verde.) Sweet bread(mejor pan del mundo)And the appetizer before the main food.(sorullitos,rellenitos de papa con carne,alcapurria, empanadillas de pizza,pollo,carne y pasta de guayaba. No puedoe faltar los sándwiches de mezcla, el antispasto de pollo y otro de tuna con las galletas Ritz. Los panes en espiral con queso crema jamón y queso. Albóndigas. Queso de papa, de bola y queso suizo con más pasta de guayaba. Palmeras, quesitos, pastelillos de guayaba, pan de maíz, los secantes de limón, los besitos de coco y muchas cosas mas que no me acuerdo) And every center pieces, you can find candy like white almonds or mints. Let's not forget all the alcohol...like A LOT of alcohol. And of course the cake( 3 to 5 layers of cake)

I'm about as white as they come and I fucking despise weddings because you gotta dress up more than you have in years (AKA since your last wedding), get there early, make small talk with family members you only see at these occasions, try not to fall asleep during the longest service ever, and then once it's finally over, you stand around for an hour waiting for the reception to start, you fINALLY get to the reception aND THE FOOD IS BASICALLY JUST DECORATIVE. To be fair, Joanna made some great points about American weddings. I'm about as white as they come and I fucking despise weddings because you gotta dress up more than you have in years (AKA since your last wedding), get there early, make small talk with family members you only see at these occasions, try not to fall asleep during the longest service ever, and then once it's finally over, you stand around for an hour waiting for the reception to start, you fINALLY get to the reception aND THE FOOD IS BASICALLY JUST DECORATIVE. WHY DID I COME TO A WEDDING IF THE FOOD IS ONLY MEANT TO LOOK GOOD???

That German accent is too thick on the Ts, muy punteado, sounds like "tataletetite". Soften the Ts and make the vowels weirder and longer, like the ö (sounds like the i in "bird") and ä. Do that and it'll be spot on.
