Lieber Richi, Sie sind für mich der absolute Großmeister des eleganten Skifahrens. Ich freue mich über jedes Ihrer tollen Videos.
Ich fahre selbst einen ganz passablen Stil, aber halt leider nicht überall.
Wie gerne würde ich einmal 1 Tag mit Ihnen z. B. in Österreich skifahren dürfen - das wäre mein Traum.

Great drill!
This drill is not for everybody but the feedback is huge! In fact 99.9% of skiers who attempt "leapers' do not have the strength, conditioning or movement forward to do them correctly. They invariably land on the portion of the ski (tail) behind the heel binding. They can no longer push the tails sideways at turn initiation and it destroys their balance very quickly. Notice in the slomo section what part of the ski contacts the snow first. Also notice how his flow down the hill remains consistently smooth and is never interrupted having to regain his balance. I use them when training younger, more athletic instructors to point out what shitty skiers they are. This drill gives clear meaning to "TGIF" - Tips Go In First.
