Excellent song. This band was overlooked and underrated in the 70s. Living in a small town in Texas as a little kid back then wishing more girls were rock musicians, I didn't know they existed. If I had I would have scraped up the $$ somehow to buy every album they released. I'm sure other girls and boys would have too. Thanks to TH-cam, multiple generations can now discover and enjoy their songs and talent.
I'm a huge Randy Newman fan. I always felt like this song needed to be rocked more than the version on Sail Away (which is of course brilliant). But this feels like it's the way the song is supposed to be in a way. Like this is its full potential.
I love how heavy they sounded live. That outro guitar solo is killer. Any Fanny live video is like a clinic on how to look, act, and sound like a real rock and roll band.
