    Hey Jon, do you think $12500 for one is a steal? It's missing the bikini fairing and has tall risers, but the rest is stock. I considered the softail but $20k is just too much out of my price range. Plus that gives me more room for upgrades.

  • @getoffmygrass6974
    @getoffmygrass6974 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Oh how I remember that sexy little vixen. Suspension on those is key considering your swing arm mounts to the transmission case, or at least they use to but pretty sure those years did also. That's an expensive way to stunt so my advice to anybody looking to get involved in the wheelie game is to find a used Evo FXR (get a race brace), the original clubs. Just my $.02

    • @JonsMotoGarage

    It's crazy how people are asking 15k-20k for these when In can just get a new one. Sure it isn't a "dyna" But still. If performance is what you liked about the Lowrider S, why pay more for a performance-inferior bike. I have a dyna. I love dynas. But I will never say the new softail versions are "worse"

      Is it “crazy” that the 1970-71’ Plymouth Barracuda is one of the most sought-after Muscle Cars and is basically PRICELESS when found?
      I mean, the car STOCK pushed 390hp. Today, we have production cars pushing close to and over 1K hp, but yet these “performance cars” from almost 50-years ago sell for far more coin.
      “Collectibility” Mr. Borjas, collectibility.
      HD is a garbage-ass company, BUT, when they do something right and they only do it for a year and a half...It perks attention.
      They will kill the idea of the “Low Rider S” with all these transgender fakes and all it does is increase the attention and WANT for the original.
      The 2016.5 and 2017 FXDLS will continue to soar in value. Keep passing the ones you see for $15-20K and you’ll be telling your Grandkids how you “would’ve, could’ve, should’ve”...Mark my words - Why do people pay millions of doll-hairs for a piece of cardboard made in 1909 with Honus Wagner’s image on it? Because they don’t make the ORIGINAL anymore. Think about it.
