To check which is the best template ever for film and media we need to compose 8 bars slow tutti with different textures and 8 bars full orchestral tutti , both changing with different textures. in addition, two loops: one loud action loop, another calm hybrid loop. To finish, a fast and a slow scene using only chamber solo instruments . Ideally everything should work well with preparing a written score.
So if I understand correctly: on the isolated instruments, just a bit of EQ, and then on the group stems we add all sorts of effects (tape saturation, maximizer, compressors, etc.), right? And on the 6 final mastering stems, a few more effects. And what about the reverbs? Do you have to create FX tracks or can you add reverb to the group stems? Thank you very much for your answer, Marc!
Vero interesting, but inst3ad duplicating mastering chain in each stem, i would ruote all test intorno mixbus , apply once for all mastering chain here then ruote it into master. Same result, less plugins
@@SOUNTH11composingdesign i have css which sounds agressive, im trying pacific enssemble strings which sounds way better, still missing the sweetness tho, processing wise i dont really know how to do anything :X i try eq settings i see on internet and reverbs, im open to suggestions, for pacific strings specially!
When I compare the mixes of POP productions and film productions, I find the sound of film music to be so much worse. If I only listen to film productions for a while, then that doesn't really matter anymore. My ideal, which I use to compare my mixes, remains POP mixes. I think you have to be the best person to orient yourself. Right?
You maybe have that feeling because pop music is very compressed, só everything pops (pun intended) in your face, but that doesn't make it better or worse.
@@barbasmusica4367 No No its better in so many cases. Brighter Bigger Fatter louder more stereo. listen to it direct after another. Than Film music sounds worse. And Classical musik like shit.

Honestly one of the best videos
I love when you’re explaining the instruments. Definitely want orchestration tips and hacks. And tips for using Kontakt !
Yes. Definitely hints/tips for runs, aleatoric or phrase based libraries. Thanks so much. Happy New Years!🎉
yes definetly about hacks and tips
