I was able to get my tank out without removing the main engine mount bolt or rear tire. Here is what I did with the front of the scooter supported and strapped to a transmission jack: 1. remove gas filler trim piece (under seat) and top shock bolts 2. remove exhaust side shock completely 3. remove exhaust side turn signal & lower plastic trim panel (holds the reflectors on US bikes) 4. jack up bike as much as possible, taking care to not damage any cables. You may need to undo some clips 5. unbolt gas tank, and there is BARELY enough room to slide it out
it is a great video, but i have to this my self and i need something with more details to see if there is any tricky thing in the business, but still, you give a nice tips of the way to do it. and pretty nice song. Thanks.
My ´10 GTS Super may need a fuel pump change, after 1 hour or so riding and once turned off does´nt turn back on. And I been reading this is a common matter. Any tips are welcome. Thanks great video.
hi, my 2005 gts 250ie stutters and stalls completely when riding at about 60km/h. it starts up and runs fine again but may or may not stall again sometimes. Any idea why? I am thinking it is the fuel filter?
Are you removing the plastic cover where the seat lock and fuel spout is? if so, would you mind explaining how to remove it? I took the hex bolts out but the threaded area of the fuel spout and the rubber ring around it keeps me from getting mine off.
Nice, easy to follow video. If you've had some experience with modern Vespa's,this make perfect sense.

can you replace the fuel injector to be suitable outside the fuel tank
How do you take off the two fuel lines connected to the pump??? I can't figure it out!!
Nice and easy then
Great Job
How about having the camera positioned where you can actually see what you're doing? This was entertaining but not even slightly useful.
