Vespa 07 GTS 250 fuel pump replacement
This is a 07 GTS 250IE Vespa fuel pump replacement and rear tire change I did in 52:35. Compressed it down to 6 minutes. That was a new record with the tire change. The fastest I've ever done was 47:45. I want to say I've done around 50 fuel pumps or so. The manual say's it is required to drop the engine in order to remove the fuel tank. I laugh!!! But, no joke the first couple I did, it took me about 2hrs 45min - 2hr 15 mins. After Vespa announced the recall on some models, I got better. I challenge all who can beat my time. HAHA!!! Joking.... But, no. really! :-)

Nice, easy to follow video. If you've had some experience with modern Vespa's,this make perfect sense.
How about having the camera positioned where you can actually see what you're doing? This was entertaining but not even slightly useful.
Nice and easy then
Literally learned nothing from this video 🤦♂️
Can't DIY
hi, my 2005 gts 250ie stutters and stalls completely when riding at about 60km/h. it starts up and runs fine again but may or may not stall again sometimes. Any idea why? I am thinking it is the fuel filter?
Where can I go to school to learn how to fix Vespa's
art sakakihara where are you from contact me on spartan_motors_belgrade on instagram I will tell you all about it
I was able to get my tank out without removing the main engine mount bolt or rear tire. Here is what I did with the front of the scooter supported and strapped to a transmission jack: 1. remove gas filler trim piece (under seat) and top shock bolts 2. remove exhaust side shock completely 3. remove exhaust side turn signal & lower plastic trim panel (holds the reflectors on US bikes) 4. jack up bike as much as possible, taking care to not damage any cables. You may need to undo some clips 5. unbolt gas tank, and there is BARELY enough room to slide it out
lolll your video just for fun
Are you removing the plastic cover where the seat lock and fuel spout is? if so, would you mind explaining how to remove it? I took the hex bolts out but the threaded area of the fuel spout and the rubber ring around it keeps me from getting mine off.
My ´10 GTS Super may need a fuel pump change, after 1 hour or so riding and once turned off does´nt turn back on. And I been reading this is a common matter. Any tips are welcome. Thanks great video.
Isaac I was it hard changing the pump ?
can you replace the fuel injector to be suitable outside the fuel tank
Hi I need to remove and replace my gas tank is that the only way to remove it from underneath
great video, can't do the job without bike lift, time to invest this thing, thanks.
it is a great video, but i have to this my self and i need something with more details to see if there is any tricky thing in the business, but still, you give a nice tips of the way to do it. and pretty nice song. Thanks.
Nicolás Ramírez I have to do the same how did yours turn out did you find any good sites
How do you take off the two fuel lines connected to the pump??? I can't figure it out!!
Great Job
Nice choice of music, good editing.
I've done that with friends many times, can't wait to do it with my wife. Loved the vid.

Do you do any video where you talk about the gear you carry? Im interested in the tent you use.. gear you need... how much food and water you take ect

Thats pretty rad! Good job! the ending is the best LOL
Great video but the the fast motion kinda ruins the ride.
That's fantastic, Thanks for the great video! I really liked the sound track too! Could you list the songs? I'd like to buy them... I live near Alaska, so it's cold here now, but I'm dreaming of summer. I'm going to get on my F650GS and be free... Thanks again,
I saw a guy one time on the vegas strip about 3am, standing on the seat of his bike and playing his air guitar! then lift his feet like the splits, drop down, go into a wheelie and was gone. To be a car going the other way and seeing you playing guitar, you know these people told friends the next day. :-) keep having fun enjoy life. one never knows whats around the corner. cheers
i almost PMSL, classic.
"oh theres a little Captain in him too" LOL
7:34 and beyond!!! Epic!! Good times.
That was an awesome vid dude, looks like you had a blast. I really liked the first song, who was it and what was it called?
