But what if it works? If I’d seen this review before I tried it, I never would have tried it and discovered that my skin love this oil. It had been a spotty, blotchy mess since the menopause and this is the only product (after two years of trying to find something) that has worked. ❤
So glad to see you calling this out ! I used to love CT makeup but stopped buying from the brand when I felt that they were pumping out ridiculous amounts of new launches which were poor quality. As for the skincare, I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole and never trust makeup brands who now do skincare. Her Magic Cream is apparently repackaged Embryollisse and was not impressive. Not to mention the enormous amounts of fragrance in her products like rose extracts which irritated my skin. I have not missed buying from this brand …

This was in response to another comment but had to share with everyone. "I can only speak about my personal experience with medical grade products, mostly from Osmosis and Truth Treatments. Nothing and I mean NOTHING has done more for my skin than these two product lines. I'm 55 and began using these products a year and 1/2 ago. I was skeptical and hesitant to spend the $ (because of reviews like Dr. Dray's) but wow oh wow was I shocked. After just one week of using these products I saw incredible changes! I'm talking texture, radiance, more youthful plumper looking skin. Now to be honest I've got great skin to begin with and very few lines or wrinkles but these products are life changing and I'll continue to use them into the future to keep my skin looking it's best as I age. If I could hug both Dr. Ben's I would. Two other products that are worth purchasing are the Osmosis Epic Skin Tool & the Truth Treatments LED mask. The mask was so amazing I invested in whole body red light therapy lights!!"

Hi Brianna. I would be very interested in your opinion of the overly hyped and very expensive Augustinus Bader cream. apart from collagen and her claim there are some other ingredients...I have very sensitive rosacea skin and tried many products suggest by dermatologists and youtubers like you and I had worse results than using charlotte tilbury. all brands suggested for sensitivity intolerant skin or skincare promising just ingredients that shows results..I had it only just to end up with more redness, more oily skin and just getting sick of it...everyone's skin has different needs and I think you have to try for yourself if you can pass this ridiculous claims and her marketing I think a lots of people would genuinely enjoy her products

OK. So I get the remarks about the bs stats and ingredients. However, the menopause left me with dry, spotty, flakey skin, rosacea and painful outbreaks, especially on my chin and cheeks. I’d never had any problems with my skin before so this was quite distressing for me. I tried everything - expensive, cheap, recommended by dermatologists, oil, water - you name it, I tried it and the only time I had any respite was when I was on antibiotics for a chest infection! My skin was an absolute painful mess and I couldn’t go out without makeup because it just looked so bad. Just before Christmas, I discovered a local lady who makes small batches of skincare items and her £7.99 for 150ml facial cleanser and £7.99 for 60ml moisturiser started to really calm my skin. My outbreaks became less frequent and painful and my skin started to feel smooth. A few weeks ago, I got a sample of the CT facial oil and decided to try it. OMG! The result was amazing! My skin felt super soft and smooth, I’ve had the odd spot and the red patches have all but disappeared. I don’t think it’s the collagen - I’d tried creams and oils with collagen in before with no noticeable change. To be honest, I don’t care what it is that is in this oil that my skin loves, I just know that it has made my skin happier than it has been for a very long time. It might be expensive, but I need the tiniest amount to cover my face and neck so it’s going to last for a very long time. So, yes, I understand the criticisms made of this oil but I love it and it loves me.

337%! That's a red flag to me right there. Claims with numbers that high should make someone think twice about the validity of such a claim.
While I personally do not buy into CT claims or any other brand for that matter, I do know how they obtain the data to provide such claims. They are using percent of change to market their products, which is quite smart. However, their sample size is far too small to accurately support the claims on the packaging. Contradictory marketing is not the way to sell products to educated adults!
What about collagen capsules in a bottle?Walmart has them for sale 17.99?I won't buy this product from Charlotte Tilbury however I like her eye shadows but pricey.I only buy from her line when something is free when u order.lol

Speaking of, is there a period of time your skin takes to get used to Osmosis rescue? I think I have heard that there is. I am on week one with it and my skin is a little dry under the nose and nostrils.
Wayne Goss made a video about her outrageous marketing claims for this product. He however did say he liked the product but not the ridiculous marketing claims. I like some of her makeup but don’t buy much of it these days. I feel like she’s becoming greedy and I don’t want to support her brand anymore 😕
If you like plain old face oils haha. And the “collagen” in this is laughable. You could buy a much cheaper face oil if your looking for a face oil then spend $80 on thinking your getting something great with this 🤦🏼♀️

I love CT’s oil. I don’t care what’s in it. It works for me and I will continue to “waste” my money on it, along with her beautiful cosmetics which also work for me. The thing is it probably does make the skin look radiant and feel moisturized BUT any oil would do that. Vegetable oil would do that but YUCK. For me it's the crazy price and all the worthless crap in these products that pisses me off. If someone wants to put oil on their face (and I do occasionally mix in some pure rosehip oil with my moisturizer) they can get a pure skin friendly unscented one at Whole Foods....for like $10.00.

Go watch Wayne Goss’s TH-cam video on this particular video. He wasn’t wowed. I totally agree with you about using medical grade skincare. It’s worth every penny. As you recommend I always look at the ingredients. If I have questions I do my research.If I have any other questions I ask my dermatologist. He’s sells products in his office but he’s always willing to give me his opinion on something I’m interested in. I showed him information on NeoGenesis when I first started using it. He told me it was worth the money and I should try it. Thus far, I’m pleased. More and more cosmetic companies are going into skincare. It’s a colossal money grab.

Ever since CT sold off the bulk of the shares to the Spanish company Puig in 2020, the quality of her new products has dropped dramatically. Such a shame to see an iconic brand go down the drain.
