Yeah he’s got a bit of an issue with cancelling turn signals (not this video tho) and staying in a lane too. The lane wander seems to sometimes morph into a complete lane change. Still gotta luv him. Imho, the best car site hands down. He’s a car guy who got rich not a rich guy who decided he’d collect cars. No doubt he’d still be in to cars without the “fame and fortune” thang, just wouldn’t have “sections”in his garage. Unless, like my garage, he went with a “car/mustang” section, a “lawnmower/Honda ” section, a “snow blower/Ariens section”, a “kids bike/Norco section”........LMAO!!!

I know it sounds odd or whatever but I live by the FnF quote, “life’s simple, you make choices and you don’t look back”. I had a 73 Datsun 240Z. It was dark blue with a white interior. It was my second attempt to buy a Z, the first one was orange with a black interior. It was the first Japanese car I had driven with room! I'm a big guy, over six feet and 250 pounds. I added the dealer air dam, known for scrapping driveways and channeling water to the brakes, the rear window louver, which really kept the interior comfortable in the hot California sun, and the bullet side mirrors. All common additions. Truly loved that car, but slow next to my roommate's Sunbeam Tiger. P.S.: I forgot. A Wink mirror. Talk about vintage.

I had a 240Z and have been looking up videos thinking of a project. Mine was a '73, I bought it in '83. I learned to drive in it. The Z was 10 years old, already full of rust. floorboards were gone. Rear wheel wells were shot. I am surprised all these years later that this car is still around. If I do one, after I TIG weld new panels in, its going to a hot galvanize dip shop. The 240Z engine was great. I had a 6=8 cam and triple side draft Webers in mine. It was quick enough to take a 911 of the day. If I were to do something different with the engine now, I would put in a 3.7 or even the Nissan V8. Definitely add some cc's in the engine bay. Dare I say possibly a LS? Parts are hard to come by these days and a full restro will take a lot of parts. I might stick with a C2 vette but the memories I will never forget.
