      You should use a Garden Cart(big metal wagon with large rubber wheels) to haul around your weilder. Then only one person can pull it around as opposed to carrying that thing along with the cart.

    Just caught up with the build from the start, amazing to see what you've built so far! This would never be possible where I live (europe) due to regulations so its nice to be able to follow a build like this. I see these yellow MSC containers every day in the harbour I live close by, its crazy to think your home has been all around the world!

    It is coming along very nicely. I hate to think what you will have spent on all the steel you have bought for this build. I enjoy some DIY welding projects and steel ain't cheap. As long as I don't compare it to aluminum. I cringe when I buy it to TIG a project.

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  ปีที่แล้ว

      I explained why in the video briefly but I didn't want to melt the epoxy under the plates so I jumped around to allow the steel to cool down before doing another pass on the same plate.

  • @brucebanner1472
    @brucebanner1472 ปีที่แล้ว

    This content could be so amazing but, needs to reorient around the work and not the dictaphone like journal, that it is doing.
    Everything that sounds like it would be interesting to watch, is poorly filmed - either with no thought as to how to capture the action or with no lighting to show the action - or, worse, totally ignored in favour of TELLING you what is going to be done or some other uninteresting update.
    Quite sad, wasted potential. Look at Ambition Strikes, Trent & Allie ... so many others that really know how to maximise the content. Have confidence that the content is interesting, because it really is!

    • @PacificPinesRanch
      @PacificPinesRanch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The challenging part is we are both doing the work so it’s impossible to be working & creatively filming at the same time. I also have to be careful to not ruin my gear by setting up my cameras close to what we are doing (sparks, debris, etc). I’m not a professional videographer, I’m self taught so I’m learning as we go & doing my best.

    • @brucebanner1472
      @brucebanner1472 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Pacific Pines Ranch first off, I want to apologise for the tone of my comments above. I have no right to tell you how to produce content and I chose to watch, nobody forced me. And more than that, I wish to encourage your work, not make your life more difficult. So, deeply sorry, I just got carried away, my intentions were good, just poorly executed.
      I can appreciate that it is very difficult, I'm too scared to even try!
      My advice on the gear/setting front would be to get cheap cameras that you can place on selfie sticks and tape over locations - I saw one channel do this trick, to record some work they were doing on their roof.
      Also, lighting, it's worth buying some mobile lighting so that you can video from inside, when it's sunny outside, without everything looking dark and indistinguishable.
      You guys are doing awesome projects, it really would be a shame not to get the most out of it.
      Hopefully, as new subscribers come, you will be in a situation to invest in the production side. I'm sure you'll pick up the camera skills!
      Good luck, and again, apologies for my strong comments earlier.
